This store is not for the quiet, shy type. If you are afraid to speak up to checkout (not that you should have to do that), you will wait for one of their numerous employees standing around doing nothing to acknowledge you. I just walked out because no one could take time out of their "obviously busy" schedule to even excuse themselves before they helped me. I might as well have been a ghost. Worst location for getting parts. Long lines. Very low energy employees, never willing to help, always have to point out what exactly you need and help them even looking up parts on computer. , Most of the time parts are out if stock and instead of ordering them to the store , they just send to another location. All the time new employees that has no experience or proper training. If it not your last choice don't not go there. Stores like this one are reason stocks of Autozone droped 250 points. This place is the slowest auto parts store I have ever been to. It must be staffed with incompetent staff... They do a transaction then take a 5 minute break in the back. It took me 45 minutes to navigate a line of people to get my engine light diagnosed. Absurd. read more

I had the most wonderful first experience with AutoZone at the S. Kirkman location. I was helped by Emerson. I needed a new light bulb for my rear brake/turn signal. I don't know anything about cars and in the past would have paid someone else to fix it. My situation has changed and I needed to see if I could deal with this on my own. Emerson sensed by lack of confidence. It was such a small, inexpensive part, but you would have thought I was making a major purchase. He was so kind and helpful. He even wound up installing the bulb for me, which I realize is not part of the service AutoZone normally provides. For me, the customer service was truly exceptional. I will shop there again for sure. read more

Apparently this should have been called AlannaZone because I'm the one that fixed the problem for my partners car myself. We go in and their staff just stared. After the lively greeting, I went up to ask about a part. They were SO helpful that I had to go find the part by myself. Well, their customer service especially got even better when Mr. Emerson copped that attitude when I asked if he could help change the light after we purchased the part. He was so kind that my partner even had to rip off his own receipt and tell ourselves to have a wonderful day. I have been to other AutoZones and had a great experience, but this one was unacceptable. Maybe some of the employees need to go to the garage for an attitude change so their business can begin to run more smoothly. read more

Autozone is always my go to for batteries and other car needs. I have been to this location several times over the past few years and my experience is always the same. I think between the location, and lack of similar stores, this location is always pretty busy. The staff is nice enough but they always are so busy and seem overwhelmed and slightly annoyed with the lack of staff and surplus of customers. When the staff takes care of you they take their time to ensure the problem gets taken care of properly wether that means asking questions to ensure the proposed issue is the actual issue or if that means ensuring the battery is not only installed but also cleaned up. read more

The manager attempted to up sale me on engine oil I didn't need. He suggest that I needed more oil than 5 qts. On a 2.0 VW. He is a manage and should know better. Trying to meet his sales goals was more important then customer service. And if he didn't know. Then he shouldn't be the manager. read more

The store location is hard to find because it is located away from the street. It is just under the over pass for kirkman. We called ahead with the part we needed andthey looked up the part promptly on the computer to verify they had it before we went over. We went to the store, which was clean and well stocked. They gave us the part and we left. Of course we know nothing about cars and bought the wrong part. So when we called the second time, (which is the real customer service test, since we were clueless) they remembered us, told us to come back in, quickly exchanged the part and checked to make sure we knew what to do with the part. I would like to say that I'm happy there are still good people left in this world. I didn't get his name but a boy helped me yesterday my battery seemed as though it was about to call it quits. I stopped in to have it checked. The boy told me that my battery was in fact on its last leg and that it was from Walmart, and should be under warranty. He told me that he would change it in 15 mins for $140 or I could go to Walmart check the warranty and it's likely they will replace it for free. I did go there and it was free! He could have totally got me to buy from them, but he did the honest thing and I am very appreciative of that!! read more

They NEVER have enough people working here. I'm actually standing in line writing this review right now because I have so much time. BIG FAIL on the part of the GM that they can't help customers standing in line ready to puchase items in a timely fashion. Will be looking for another location even though this one is right across the street from me. All they need is ONE guy to run the registers while the other two answer questions and phones. Not to mention they didn't have an engine airfilter for my honda and charged way too much for a cabin airfilter that I purchased. Better off shopping online. read more

I was impressed with the OUTSTANDING customer service provided by Jessica M. and Kiara. I was having issues with my battery and went to the store located on Kirkman by my house. At the time I entered the store I was welcomed by Kiara with a big smile on her face. I told her that I didn't understand anything about battery and she was more than happy to go outside to check it out. One thing that impressed me was that Kiara never mentioned that I needed a new battery, she first tested it twice and cleaned the mess around it. As the battery was dying, she asked me if I'd like to get a new one. At the counter I was assisted by Jessica. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. While replacing my battery Jessica was explaining me why batteries don't last too long in Florida. She then gave tips on how to keep my engine clean among other things. Thank you Jessica and Kiara for being helpful and to provide an outstanding customer service. You both made my day. read more

They are always friendly and super helpful. I always send my Mom here when she needs something for her car like windshield wipes which they will install for you free of charge if you ask. They also saved her like $25 for a lightbulb that the scammers over at tires plus wanted to overcharge her for. read more
