I told him what was goingon with the vehice, he took the time to come out, checked out the vehicle and took the time to explain that they will do an total inspection on the car. i explained to him how much i spent last time and was not looking to spoend that amount this time around. Dave called later that day to explain to me what was totally wrong. he gave me the breakdown of what everything costed and my car was ready the same day. I felt at ease when going in this time around and knowing that the service wouldn't be expensive. I spoke to Sheila, Dave's Supervisor just to let her know what a well job he is doing and i was totally happy with my experience. Thank you Dave.

I took my 2016 Camaro to AutoNation Chevrolet South Clearwater for an oil change, tire-pressure…read moresensor replacement, and diagnosis of a MyLink infotainment problem. I was told there would be a $200+ diagnostic fee. Invoice #782890 AutoNation concluded that the Radio Control Assembly was defective and recommended replacing it for $1,056.87. My question is simple: What diagnostic testing proved it was defective? When I asked what tests were performed and what results supported replacing the Radio Control Assembly, the service advisor could not provide an answer. Instead, I was told that "90% of the time" this is the problem. That is not an explanation of how my vehicle was diagnosed. I specifically asked about GM Service Bulletin 16-NA-326, which includes removing the F16 fuse from the rear fuse block for approximately 15-20 minutes as part of the procedure. The advisor appeared unfamiliar with the bulletin. Before dropping off my Camaro, I had intentionally left the trunk fuse-box cover removed and positioned it in a way that would allow me to tell whether the fuse box had been accessed. When I picked up the vehicle, the cover was sitting exactly where I had left it. I went back inside, asked the service representative to come out to the car, and showed him. His response was to ask me how the fuse-box cover went back on. So I have an obvious question: If the fuse box apparently wasn't accessed, how was the F16 procedure performed? I asked to speak with the technician who diagnosed the vehicle. I was told the technicians had already left and that someone would call me that afternoon. Nobody called. Nobody followed up. After I posted a negative Google review, AutoNation responded publicly with a phone number supposedly to address my concerns. I called the number and reached an outside company rather than the dealership's General Manager. AutoNation can clear this up very easily: What diagnostic tests were performed, what were the results, and what specifically demonstrated that my Camaro needed a $1,056.87 Radio Control Assembly? If a proper diagnosis was performed, there should be documentation and a straightforward answer. I'm still waiting.

We got in touch with a sales associate to setup an appointment and it was smooth sailing from the minute we walked in the door. We sort of knew what we wanted and did a quick test drive. When we returned we went over the financials as well as a quote for our trade in. It was a no brainer. Our sales associate along with the general sales manager went through every rebate that Ford was offering to get us the best possible price and they came through. When we met with the finance manager he was very easy to work with and explained everything in a simple manner. He wasn't pushy, didn't try to sell us additional warranties and whatnot. He made sure to tell us about everything that Walker Ford offers and we did, in fact, order the tire warranty, which has already paid for itself. Our sales associate, Amy Potter was terrific. The General Sales Manager, Ivey Thigpen was a pleasure to work with along with everyone we talked to in the building. There is no doubt in my mind that our next vehicle will be purchased at Walker Ford.

Upon arriving, service rep Don informed me they didn't have the part in stock to do the needed work. Said I should have called to schedule, not scheduled through the (official) Ford app so they could have told me if if they had the part or not. I told him people do a lot through apps, and the app didn't say there would be a problem with my appointment or I should call instead. I said the receptionist called to confirm my appointment on 9/1, she could have checked with a service rep or technician to see if the part was on hand and told me to postpone my visit. I dove a half an hour and wasted my time to come to an appointment for them to tell me they didn't have the safety recall part on-hand. I said he should tell his manager the system is flawed. He said he wished it was different, and his manager wasn't there. He then said they won't have the part until 9/21 - if the part even comes in. He said call to find out and schedule an appointment. I said he should call me, so he hesitantly agreed (I felt like I was inconveniencing him) and told me he would reschedule me to Saturday, 9/26 (although I received no confirmation text yet). I told him I never had this problem with Honda and this left a bad taste in my mouth having my first Ford vehicle. I chose Walker's because of the good reviews. I left very disappointed. Got a text message this morning (9/6) saying "sorry" you missed your appointment and I should reschedule. Salt in the wound... UPDATE (10/4): Don (or anyone else from Walker) ever followed up with me, or reached out in September. No appointment was set up for the recall (or maybe they just didn't notify me). There were no apologies about this issue after my initial review - which says a lot about their lack of professionalism in my opinion. Since this was a serious recall, I felt compelled to contact a different local Ford business - Ferman Ford. Caden said they had the recall part on hand and I could make an appointment anytime. I made it for 9/19. They did the repair within the timeframe Caden told me, and even took care of removing a dealer sticker on the paint (I asked if they could do that, if possible). Ferman Ford is where I'll do my business going forward.

Lo and behold Mike Bennett has returned to the dealership after the last two plus years away from the fold. As had previously been the case, Mike is totally on top of things and as detail oriented as it gets. All I can say is that Tasca is very lucky to have such a hard worker...One small example is when he asked whether I was gonna wait for my car or no. He then went quickly thru the advantage and disadvantage of both. While I already knew I was not going to wait, these small details are what made Dick Norris a great dealership for keeping my Athena car up and running. It continues now with the Tasca name and so long as the rest of this dealership keeps it going in the same direction...uh: I find myself happy yet simultaneously shocked to offer kudos and praise to a car dealership. Meanwhile, here is where I bought my Athena car brand new a few years back (thanks to Mickey). Here continues to be where I have her taken care of too...and that's that.

When we first walked into the dealership, none of the sales representatives approached us or seemed interested in helping. Eventually, Steve came over and asked what we needed, and I ended up purchasing my vehicle through him. One of my biggest issues is that Steve told me the car had features that it did not actually have. I specifically wanted ambient lighting, and that was a major reason I decided to purchase this particular vehicle. I relied on the information I was given by the salesperson, only to find out afterward that the car did not have the feature I was told it had. Throughout the process, I did not feel confident that Steve actually knew the vehicle or its features. The situation with my spare key has been even more frustrating. I was explicitly told that someone at Audi Clearwater had the spare key to the used vehicle I purchased and that I could simply come back and pick it up. I waited two or three weeks and drove back to the dealership, only to be told that they never had the key and that the previous owner still had it. I was then told they couldn't do anything or order another key until the previous owner responded. Four days later, Steve texted me saying they had finally gotten in contact with her. Another week went by with no resolution or proper update, and I had to call Audi myself again to find out what was happening. Now I'm being told they have to order me a new key anyway. This entire situation has been incredibly unprofessional. I should not have to repeatedly call and follow up over something that was represented as included with the vehicle when I purchased it. Between being given incorrect information about the car's features and the ongoing confusion surrounding the spare key, I've lost a lot of trust in how this sale was handled. The gentleman who helped me in finance was very nice, and I have no complaints about my experience with him. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my experience with Steve. Based on my experience, there needs to be significantly better communication, product knowledge, follow-through, and accountability from both the salesperson and management.

When the time came for me to start researching vehicles that was at the top of my list. I reached out to a couple different dealerships, and was very turned off by the pushiness. I realize this is part of sales and it needs to be done, but it did get a bit overwhelming. However, when Ted Lypka (don't forget his name!) reached out to me, it was a totally different vibe. I felt like I finally had control of the situation. This initial contact via text and email prompted me to come in to the dealership a bit sooner than anticipated. After spending quite a bit of time with me, and being extremely patient with my millions of questions we went for a test drive of the Mazda CX 30. It was everything I wanted. However, the particular car I was in really wasn't doing much for me. Ted again reviewed everything that I was looking for, confirmed ALL MY requests and pulled up in a beautiful Snowflake (a beautiful boutique color) with all the features I requested. Moving onto financing, I met with Jeff Springer, who, like Ted, made the financing fun. Who would ever think financing would be fun? However, Jeff managed to do so. He reviewed everything with me, made sure it was what I wanted, and again recapped all that we discussed before submitting the final documents. I walked out of the Mazda dealership with my dream car. When you walk into Clearwater Mazda, you're greeted by a v at the desk, who is more than willing to help you, however you need. You are never accosted or feel, overwhelmed by sales people. It's very clean, courteous, and upbeat. You can really tell the people who are there enjoy being there. What a difference it makes to walk into a dealership and experience all of that. I've avoided dealerships for many years, because of all the negative experiences I've had in the past. I may not wait 10 years to get a new car... I do know when I do replace my car, I will be going back to Clearwater Mazda. If you want the best service, the most courteous people, people who, like people, and want to help them, go to Clearwater Mazda! I cannot say enough about them. When you go, make sure you ask for Ted! It will be the best decision you make!

1 STAR Extremely…read moredisappointing experience with this Mazda service department. We brought our CX-5 in specifically because the battery keeps draining after sitting for 48-72 hours. This has happened with both the original Mazda battery and a newer AGM replacement battery, so we wanted Mazda to perform a parasitic draw test and find out what was actually causing the problem. Instead, after FOUR DAYS without our vehicle, we were essentially told the battery was too low to properly test the vehicle and that we should purchase another battery from Mazda for around $300. The battery we already have is under warranty and can be replaced for free, so it made absolutely no sense to buy another battery before determining what keeps draining them. What frustrated me most is that a Mazda dealership apparently couldn't provide or temporarily use a known-good battery to bring the vehicle to proper voltage and perform the diagnostic test we brought it in for. We drove roughly 45 minutes each way, rearranged our schedule, went without the vehicle for four days, and the original problem was never diagnosed or repaired. We were fully prepared to pay Mazda to identify and repair the electrical issue. Instead, it felt like selling us another battery became more important than finding out why the vehicle keeps killing batteries. Four days wasted. Problem unresolved. Very disappointing experience, especially since we were considering purchasing another Mazda in the future.
