I ordered a part approximately 2 weeks ago here. While there, I was told there was one in stock…read more After 20 plus minutes of waiting while a debacle ensued, I was told the inventory was wrong and they only had the part for the other side. So we finally ordered the part to be shipped in. I stopped in today to find out if the part was in or not since I had never received the call I was told I'd get when it was delivered. Upon arriving to the store I was told it was in and I was never called because "the phones don't allow us to call out often times" by the young man who helped me. I took the part, went home, and disassembled the car. Upon doing so I realized the part I received was in fact not the one I ordered but the one that was originally in stock. I called in to find out if the part I had actually ordered was at the store or not after all. Sam answered the phone and was incredibly rude, unapologetic, and unprofessional. I am stunned and appalled by the lack of professionalism and the discourteous service I have received from AutoZone. Now I have to find a way to get back in there to get the part I should've received the first time. I will never utilize AutoZone again and strongly urge you to consider saving yourself the hassle by going down the road to the Advanced Auto Parts. I've never had this kind of issue there.

Last year, bought a rear axle assembly for 2012 Jeep Wrangler with a 3,21 gear ratio. They sent me the wrong ration rear end. It had 4.10 ratio. Installed and did not work. then called them and got a hard time about replacing it, even with the warranty. Then finally, they agreed to replace it. Sent me different axle assembly. Had to drive 1 hour to get it, and 1 hour back. They would not drop ship. . The replacement rear end assembly came in and had a bent axle. I had to take both assemblies apart to make one right and work. Then submitted to labor charge for all of it on 6/10/26. They finally sent me a check on 8/2/26 for 40% of the labor claim and I was conservative on the hours. Took 6 hours to R&R assembly plus the rebuilding to make 2nd one work. Plus the drive to get 2nd one. So it took them 3 months to sent me part of my money. Evidently will not be buying from them in future. They have been pain in the ass to work with..
