To make matters worse, they charged me $25 for a couple gallons of gas because the fuel level was low. I understand gas costs money, but charging $25 for a couple gallons on top of everything else just adds to the feeling that they are looking for every possible way to add another charge to the bill. My experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It feels like Jensen Tire 2.0--nickel-and-diming customers instead of focusing on fixing the problem they came in for. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. If you bring your vehicle here, be prepared for the possibility of paying for diagnostics, getting a long list of recommended repairs, and still not getting the original problem resolved.

I'vr contacted Ford Motor Company, they were no help. Quart by quart, I've added four cases of oil to my car, until the engine finally failed. My mechanic performed a compression check on the engine and declared the engine dead. I had a shop in town install a used engine in my car with a comparable number of miles to the failed engine at a cost of over $4k. I've given Woodhouse 1 star, only because zero was not an option. My car had no mechanical issues, burned no oil, until I took it there to replace the water pump. There's a reason Woodhouse has under 4 stars. I wish I had checked YELP first.

Giving a low initial quote and then jacking up the price once the work is done is downright shady. I will note that I also got a quote from Dingman's that was slightly higher than Kaizen's quote (though lower than the final bill) that did include a flat cost for recalibration, so apparently they figured it out. It took 5 weeks to get the car into the shop, which is fine (every place is busy these days). Two days after dropping it off, they informed me I'd be without my car for 2 weeks, which seemed like a long time for a simple fix (no spare parts or anything). The day I was supposed to pick it up, I called in to see when it would be ready; only then was I informed it would be a further 2 days. Note they never called me. Between the completely wrong estimate, the long repair time, and the complete lack of communication, I would have assumed this is the first time they've fixed a car. In retrospect I should have asked more questions, but I naively assumed that the shop would be honest and accurate in their communication. Then again if they had been honest, I might have chosen a different shop. The cherry on top was that when I got my car back, they had broken the driver-side seatbelt (it wouldn't retract). They did fix it within a half hour (nice of them), but the employee who gave me my keys told me that the guy who had reassembled the seatbelt just didn't care about doing a good job. The driver fender and driver door was damaged, and the suspension was knocked out of alignment. I have a scratch in my driver side mirror that wasn't there after my car was hit. There was some kind of grease on the mirror and driver side window. There was grease left under the sun visor on the driver side. I had a pretty nice Captain America themed steering wheel cover that is now ruined due to one of the grimy workers smearing grease all over the cover and upon trying to clean it, rubbed off most of the color. The cover is now mostly grease colored. Someone at the shop took everything in the passenger side of the vehicle as well as the back seat of the vehicle, and threw it all into the cargo area of the vehicle. Now tell me, why do you need to get into the back seat while doing body work? I can see the floors were vacuumed, which is great, but who gave you the right to throw everything into the cargo area? I would recommend this shop for great work, but I'm pretty steamed about the rest of what they did. And let me add, I didn't ask for my car to be washed. I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm that kind of person.

I was charged approximately $3,100 to replace one headlight, including labor. I questioned the cost of the part at the time and was told that was simply what it cost. However, when I submitted the claim to my insurance company, they actually called me to confirm that I had only had one headlight replaced because the cost of the part was roughly double what they expected. My claims adjuster then contacted the shop directly and was told that there was a 128% markup on the part. The shop would not adjust the price, and as a result, my insurance company would not reimburse me for the full amount. I understand that businesses need to mark up parts and make a profit, and I don't expect any shop to be the cheapest. But a 128% markup on such an expensive part, especially after I specifically questioned the price and was simply told that was what the part cost, does not feel fair to me. We live in a small community, and I believe we should be able to trust and support our local businesses. I appreciated the communication and professionalism I received, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
