They put me into a car I really liked, with payments I could afford. I was happy as could be until I received a call two weeks later telling me to bring the car back. I was completely confused. They had told me the financing was done when I drove off the lot, but here we were two weeks later and they said the financing hadn't gone through? I was very disappointed and told them I could bring it back on my next day off (three days later). Legally, I had seven days to keep the car from the time they asked me to return the car. That is when all hell broke loose. Fred, the financial guy started yelling and threatening to call everyone I knew to try to embarrass me if I didn't bring the car in BY THE MORNING. Mario yelled at me repeatedly after purchase while dealing with repairs agreed on in my contract. They lie, talk down to you, make you feel like your stupid and all in front of my 10 year old daughter! I'm reporting them to the BBB, attorney general and any other site that will help keep anyone else from going through this trauma. I suggest anyone else with similar experiences should do the same! Well I was not able to post without rating them at least 1 star, but I actually rate this business a big fat 0! First issue was long before I actually bought a car and they are lucky that I even returned! One of their sales managers was so rude that I walked out! Since I did end up buying a car from them at a much later date they have called me numerous times trying to get me to come back in and trade-in or telling me that I need to refinance. Yes I am well aware that I can refinance my own car and it is my business if I do, not theirs. I have asked them on these numerous calls to remove me. They did not hold up their end in our deal (i.e: getting me spare keys to my car being as the key has a microchip it is approx. $50). Today I received yet another call about refinancing...in which I indicated that I had not because I had not been working, the man then asks "well what happened to your job?" Which in my opinion is very rude and it is none of his business. I told him it was and he proceeded to tell me it was not so I hung up. I called back 3 times only to be hung up on and the 4th he finally answered and I said to remove me from their list as I had previously asked numerous times. He then proceeded to tell me that "there is no way they would ever call me again because NO ONE WOULD EVER WANT TO TALK TO ME AGAIN!" I called to ask about the price of a used car listed on their website without a price, and the salesperson had trouble finding it in their system. I offered to give him the stock number from the website and he told me, "No, no, no... If I put that in it will get all screwed up." Whatever that means. He finally found it and told me the price ($26k for a vehicle with 150k miles). He then asked if I was just going to buy or if I'd be trading in. Not wanting to waste too much of his time, but interested in another car he may have, I told him that was about $10k more than I was looking for on that particular vehicle. Rather than hear me out, he started laughing at me - which really gives a potential customer a reassuring feeling about whom you're dealing with. I took my Yukon Denali here for an oil change and general maintenance. I would not recommend this service department. They claimed to have checked my fluids; but my vehicle went in with no washer fluid and came out with no washer fluid. Aside from that, they ran out of oil change reminder stickers to notify me of my next scheduled change. What service department runs out of these? I purchased a new car from this dealership and at the time of purchase they called and received a payoff amount from the bank my trade in was financed with. papers signed and deal completed or so I thought, about 6 months later I get a demand letter from Auto Town saying my trade payoff was more than they originally thought. they were threatening to turn me over to collections for $300. after doing some checking with my old lender I found out the Auto Town finance dept didn't pay off the loan right away and enough time lapsed that they had to call for a new payoff amount and it was higher due to earned interest. I buy a new car about every year and a half and there is NO WAY I will ever buy from Auto Town again. read more

The first time I purchased a vehicle that was more than a down payment on a house. We needed a truck for work. We explained this. There were some minor issues that needed fixed before we took home, when we went to pick up our truck whoever had done the repairs ruined our paint, huge gouges in several places along the bed, and sides. When we went to pick it up from the supposedly being repaired it looked like a three year old did them. We haggled and haggled over an extended warranty and finally at a huge cost at 3500. We were given a 2 year extended factory warranty. Nothing said about miles just that we were covered for my peace of mind. So this supposed million mile transmission they sold us, is now having issues and trying to use the warranty I find out I paid 3500 for 20,000 miles. Uh. Not what I was told or thought I bought. I wouldnt have bothered to spend 3500 for that. I could have just put that in the bank in case of issues. I would recommend finding somewhere that is honest and doesn't ruin your paint before leaving the lot. Not too mention pushes an extended manufacturers warranty for a minor amount of miles. I now have a 40,000 truck with no way to actually use it. read more

Today I got a call from Mike saying that he worked it out and I could get the truck at my needed payment. I confirmed every detail over the phone. Then, I got excited and left work early. I showed up and was given the same exact options I had turned down before (not what was agreed on over the phone). It was all just a ploy to get me back in there so they could lie to me more. I bought a part from Auto Town Buick GMC to help a friend out. after buying the part I went to pickup my friends vehicle and they informed me that they remembered they had an "extended warranty" on the vehicle. I recommended that they just take the vehicle in to Auto Town, and only pay their $100 deductible. The next day I returned to Auto Town to return the part that I don't need any longer. Parts counterman informed me that they have a 35% "re-stocking" fee. THIS IS CRIMINAL. The box with unopened, and clean. I work at Landmark Ford and we don't charge a "re-stocking" fee for parts returns. I wouldn't even me mad if it was a reasonable fee but 35% is Criminal. I told my friends to cancel their service appointment and take the car to Weston. I will never give this dealership another dime. There are no signs up in the parts department stating that there is a 35% re-stocking fee, only a small note on you're receipt that you don't get until after you've already given them your money. read more

Why does GM allow this sketchy owner to sell new GMC's? If you met him, you'll know what I'm talking about. Has no one from GM visited their dealership? It's outdated, run down like a prison, and the majority of their employees seem to have worked as gas attendants before being hired on to work here. Not only was it the most painful process of buying a new GMC truck (price was different on their website than in the dealer -- they said it was a website error -- aha), coming here for maintenance (my second time) has been a hassle, because they honestly don't know what they're doing and can not give me a straight answer, or they do give me an answer, but I have to fight them on it until they actually verify the facts (this part is frustrating -- I do my research before asking these "professionals"). The ONLY pleasant person is the lady that works in the service department -- she seems overwhelmed but is nice, and does try to help resolve issues (I can't recall her name). I love GMC and upgrade every two years, there is no way in hell I'll be coming here again. I truly hope someone shuts them down, or stops buy vehicles from them. The only reason they're in business is that of the location -- they sit in the best spot with all the other dealerships. I never had one issue here. Found them by going to credit yes. My credit wasn't that great but needed to finance a car for our large family. They asked what we needed and found the perfect match for us. Told them what we could afford monthly and came back to us with a lower percentage rate than I ever thought I could get and monthly payment was perfect. No negotiation and was on our way. Run away. The service department should not be trusted. Last week I had my Buick serviced here - an oil change with a multipoint inspection. The service report noted I needed both the engine and cabin air filters changed out. However I did those replacements myself 3,000 miles back, so I questioned the need for that work. But service advisor said the techs had inspected filters and determined they needed to be replaced. I declined. Sure enough I went home and pulled the engine air filter and it is clean, almost like new. Called the service manager to complain and he agreed that filters should not need replacement after only 3K miles. He apologized and said he would treat it as a learning opportunity. I let him know that I have lost faith in them and couldn't trust them to work on my car. Guess I will return to Valvoline Oil Change for future service. At least I know they do the work I pay for and at a fair price. read more

When my fifteen-year-old car decided to breathe its last breath, I needed to find a reliable replacement in a hurry. I visited the pre-owned lot at Auto Town after a friend recommended them to me. Nabel got me approved for a loan and into an awesome Civic within a couple hours! I'd never bought a new car before and was dreading the process, but it was actually quite painless. Absolute garbage. If I could give no stars I would. I went alone to shop for a car I saw online. I did not bring my husband with me on this occasion. I should have, I supposed. The gentleman that assisted me was name Marco I believe. Was not friendly or engaging. Not sure if it was because I am a woman alone without my husband or just he has no people skills?? But very blah personality for sure. He told me I could not get the car I came to see due to some financing things. Ok, no worries. He said we should run my stuff first and see what car fits best with my info. I thought, ok. He brought out pretty much the same car just the basic version of it. I was alright with it. I test drove it to get gas and around the block. But I did like it. I said we could progress further. This was the beginning of the wait. I waited for an hour. Alone. On a small table in the middle of the showroom. Watching this other salesman, larger gentlemen walk around either without his mask on or the mask pulled down below his nose. He walked around talking to himself most of the time. After the wait Marco (?) came out to say they needed more down ($2k) I said no, he then disappeared again. Waited longer another hour and a half, He came back and said this could take awhile. Go home and I'll call you. Mind you, I have made or received zero offers at this point. Just then my husband showed up. We looked at the car together and chatted a bit. We went to take the key back and wouldn't you know it??! Marco no where to be found again. We gave the key to a random salesman. We left and went home. Waited for hours. All day. No call back (shocker) so I went online and read the reviews. Seems my experience is par for the course at this dealership. I really should have read them before going and I wouldn't have wasted my time. I finally got a call from him the next day AFTER I emailed them and called. Mind you, when I called they said he's busy with someone else. He'll call you back and he hung up!! He seems most interested in scheduling an appointment. Took a vehicle in for a recall, and although their records said that the service was completed we still had a faulty rear seatbelt. Let me start out by saying I understand the sales tactics. I get it, these people are trying to make a sale. Having said that, here's our experience: My gf was looking for a Yukon XL and stumbled across one here. She called and told the sales guy exactly where she stood for credit score, income and acceptable payment. I was added for income reasons. He called her and said he wanted her to come down and look at a 2018 Buick Enclave that he thought would be better suited for her, but also had a Yukon he could probably get her into. We get down there and mention the fact that we qualify for multiple discount programs (she's military and I'm a first responder and a student) and he said he got it all, though I felt he blew off my statement. None of these were able to be applied with the discount they had going. As we're sitting there, he begins to show us pictures of a wound from his foot (because of his diabetes) and his ongoing treatment. Who the heck brings that up!? Once we do finally start talking business, my gf test drives the Enclave and admittedly liked it. However, anytime she mentioned the Yukon, he would immediately deflect to something else. Definitely just used the Yukon to get her down and had no intention of trying. Now comes the numbers....neither of us has a spectacular credit score, pretty much run of the mill mid 600s, so I get we aren't going to get the best rates. He comes back with an offer for 36 months for $949/month. Despite this being $250+ more a month than she said she would be willing to pay from the very beginning. He then gives us a speech on how we should finance through GM because they help a bunch of low credit people out. Also, one of the discounts required financing through GM. He claimed that GM Financial doesn't offer anything longer than 36 months. However, the internet seems to think otherwise....So we start discussing things and he hobbled back to the finance department and comes back with essentially the same numbers. Time after time, he walks off and comes back with the same result. He stated we could pay that for 3 months then refinance through a credit union for less and essentially spread out our down payment. I pointed out that unless they can guarantee in writing that would happen, there is no way that offer is getting signed. The lowest he came back with was $899. We told him no thanks and left. He then calls my gf today and asks if she had time to rethink things. We made it abundantly clear before leaving last night that this wasn't going to happen. No idea why he thought calling would change that! He goes on to offer the exact same thing, but now claims he can give us 3 years of free maintenance and all she'd have to pay for is gas. Except, he had already claimed all the maintenance was covered way before we discussed numbers. He also gives her a lecture on how we make enough money to afford that payment and that we would have no problem getting refinanced in 3 months. He even goes on to say he knows it would be approved then, but who knows a year from now. Ridiculous treatment out of a GM dealership. I would suspect this type of treatment out of a thug at a corner used car lot, not a large dealership. Long story short, he's not getting business from me or my friends. I did call and talk to someone when I asked to speak for a sales manager. I doubt it will do anything, but he stated the sales person would get a talking to and he would look to see what he could do. I'll update if anything good comes out of it, but I'm not holding my breath! read more

I Drive a 2009 Yukon Denali bought in May 2017 at the GMC dealership in Seattle. I have had my oil change done here twice, After my first experience I figured I would give them one more chance, Maybe the lady cashing me out was just having a bad day. My second visit, Same attitude and even her co-workers seemed annoyed with her. This visit I had my oil changed and my tires rotated, when I returned to pay and pick up my vehicle. I was ask if i was going anywhere for the weekend (It was Labor Day weekend, So yes), I then was asked if I had children and I responded with "Yes?", when she responded with "I am driving a driving a DEATH TRAP!" I asked her if she was talking about the right car because I had brought my car in 6,000 miles earlier told I needed differential work done, but everything else looked good, She then Explained in a very Rude Tone and told me the roads are terrible and in that time I had cracked my Rear motor mounts so bad that my engine was tilted upwards and I was leaking oil out of my transfer case and that at any moment my transfer case can fall out. I was extremely confused and actually kinda put off because she was acting so dramatic and very pushy. At that point I wanted to pay and get the hell out of there.. I drove over to Chevrolet Service Center down the road, told them the what had just happened and showed them the paper work she had given me and Chris from service (Super awesome and NICE guy) Told me he would have his head Mechanic to take a look (for free). I was told my Rear motor mounts were totally fine, but I did have a transfer case leak (which at that time, have fixed). PLEASE STAY AWAY!!! GO TO CHEVROLET FOR YOUR SERVICE WORK!! read more

Worst dealership we have ever been to. We purchased a new 2500 Sierra HD Diesel truck in late October 2016. We thought we were purchasing a 3500 and when we got to finance and could see it said 2500 on all the paperwork, we asked several times about this and the guy said "it is listed that way because the DMV sees them as the same." The next day we realized is was a 2500 (it was night when we took possession of the truck), we went back in. We were told it was basically the same truck, just without the additional leaf-spring. We kept the truck. We purchased during a Costco rebate for GMCs but two months later we still had no rebate. After several calls to Costco it was determined the salesman entered the purchase date wrong. We are still sorting this out. The dealership itself is very dirty and in disarray. Our salesman had chew in his mouth the whole time and had there had been another truck locally that had everything we needed on it, we would have gone elsewhere. I too would have given them a zero if I could've. We bought a nice expensive SUV in 2009 from them and we got a decent deal at the time. Then a few years later they started harassing me trying to get me to bring it in and refinance-telling me we would get a great rate. We eventually did go in and they didn't really want to refinance -what they wanted to do is have you buy a new car. We spent hours there and eventually just refinanced the car. After hours of being there they only gave us a quarter of a percent better interest rate and he said he would let me know what the bank was that financed it. He couldn't tell me what bank financed it at the time. We had a local credit union who had our car loan and we are pleased with them- they're nice so I was a little leery. At any rate, I got my first bill and there was an extra $1800 warranty on it that I did not request and it was through Chase and I was not happy. We went back and had them rescind the whole deal and got our first loan from the credit union back. I thought it was over until months later I found out that they did not close out my Chase account and Chase had said I was six months late on paying them when there is about $40 left in the account from some sort of fees that AutoTime didn't pay back. So not only did I waste a day with those jerks but they also ruined my credit. To make matters worse they're constantly calling and emailing me and telling me how to come in and refinance my car. I have asked them to take me off their email list and today I got an email from them confirming my appointment with them with "JJ"- (who by the way I think has done most of this whole bait and switch deal with us anyways)- I lost it! It's been two years of harassment from them about refinancing my car when I already know of the bait and switch that they pull. They're disgusting! read more

I bought a car from Auto Towns child company Bridge City Auto, but my extended warranty required that I take the care to Auto Town for the repairs. It was a joke then and continues to be a joke now that the warranty is up. They replaced my transmission under warranty with a used transmission that had no warranty on it. The car doesn't go into neutral all the way, which makes using the 4 wheel drive and other drive options almost impossible (if you wiggle it just right you can do it), you can pull the key out of the ignition once the motor is shut off without putting it in park. When I told the service manager Randy about this, he told me "only someone very stupid would do something like that", well I'm far from stupid but get in a hurry and have done it twice now....which the car has rolled backwards both times. Thank god I was able to get it into park before hitting something or worse yet, running over someone. This is only one of the many times I had to take the car back in....from the water pump, to all of the lights flashing and the ABS light coming on, to the service engine light (which they never were able to fix). You may wonder why I am writing this 6 months after the warranty was up....but I do have a reason. I took my LandRover into my mechanic because it was running so bad....again, or still however you want to look at it. The first time, it cost my over $500 and this time, it will be over $1500. The mechanic shop I take it to now has a certified LandRover mechanic (which I was told that AutoTown had too...) and he finally found the source of the "service engine light". There were several things, but the worst is that it was leaking fuel around the fuel injectors and was dripping onto the exhaust manifold. This has been going on for quite some time based on the build up. So essentially, my 16 year old son and I have been driving around in a ticking time bomb, we truly are fortunate that it didn't catch fire or blow up! I've never regretted buying a vehicle and and extended warranty ($2500) like I have this one. I've turned both AutoTown and Bridge CIty into the Better Business Bureau and also to the Attorney General (who agreed to pursue the case, but neither company would cooperate, so they are unable to help) and plan on updating my cases with both. It sure would be nice of them to offer my extended warranty amount back since they installed a faulty transmission and their mechanics clearly did not know a thing about LandRovers! Now if you ask them their side of the story, they will tell you that they help out by waiving the $100 deductible a couple of times and provided a rental car a couple of times (one of those times the fix that needed to happen was an agreement in the contract), but they fail to mention the many other times I had to fork out the money myself (and I'm a single mom who survives on only my income....not that I'm complaining, I'm proud that I take care of my family on my own, just get tired of being ripped off!) read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AUTO TOWN !!!! The absolute worst car buying experience ever! We thought at the time like we were getting a pretty good deal on a used vehicle, the salesman was very engaging as we signed various paperwork, our fault for not checking the figures against the previous paperwork drawn up, but found out later they had tacked on an extra $1500. When we went back and asked about it, Tricky Dick, told us that we got too good of a deal and that the additional amount was "fluff" for them. No wonder he was so engaging, keeping the chit-chat going so we didn't notice while signing. Also made several verbal promises, washing the car, buffing out scratches, replacing a small part that was missing..... none of that happened. Also mentioned that they could get us a discount on a new key, just call Billy Bob on Monday, did that and he said sorry we don't do that sort of thing, then called several days later and left a message that he could get us a deal on a new key, unbelievable! Check out the BBB, the have several complaints filed against them. I can't stress enough, do not do business with these people, they can't be trusted. read more
