Firstly, I was highly recommended to this shop by a company in Colorado named VRP performance by a gentleman named Phil. I recently bought a 2006 AMG E55, and I wanted some upgrades and to take care of some issues I saw with the car. HOA was highly recommended by Phil from VRP. What a recommendation! This young man knows these AMG's well, and is full of wisdom. Secondly, he is very fair with his pricing and advises you the best route that should be taken to get the best value out of the car. He has recently done many performance upgrades to my E55, such as Long Tube Headers, Bigger Heat Exchanger, Super Flow Pump, Underhood Tank, Personalized Tune, and others. All done in a timely fashion, and without any bumps or issues. He even corrects issues he saw without delay. I've had a major issue with my crankshaft pulley, and Brian was able to rectify the issue and salvage a major problem, that may have cost me additional $thousands$ if it wasn't for him. I really can't thank him enough, and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Job is done on time, Pricing is very fair, and his problem-solving skills is admirable. Brian has done other repairs, such as oil changes, radiator flushes, rear airbags suspension installation, transmission conductor plate upgrade. I would only bring my cars to him now. He has worked on my BMW x1 as well. While at his shop I've seen him installed doors on Ferrari's, working on a McLaren front ends, so he is very well knowledgeable on different platforms. He even recommended me to take my car to MB for a warranty issue with my SBC system, as he said they would cover it free of charge. Guess what? MB did it for free as he said they would. If you're thinking about having work done on a European Car, and need a shop, then give Brian at HOA a call. His work speaks for itself. Thanks Brian!! I really appreciate you and all you all do over there. You will see me soon. Ace55

I called and got the ok to have it dropped off at the 988 garage. John was the "Service Professional" that would be doing this work. I called and he quoted me $80-100 to replace the coil and spark plug and an oil change. I thought it was a reasonable rate and I agreed. He said he would do that but no work could be done today bc he's been drinking. I said (my car was already there) "Next week is fine." He texted and Re-quoted me "$160. And there's an oil leak. Is that ok? It's too much work to fix the oil leak, I don't want to do it but will try to patch it Oil Change and replace coil. for $160". "Fine". Long story longer, he texted me Monday to let me know it's ready, I scheduled to pick it up within the hour. I was there in 30 minutes. He wasn't. I texted, I'm outside. Called, nothing. 15 minutes later I left. Three hours later he texted back. I'm on the other side. Annoyed. Finally, two days later, I get there, pay him, "Thank you!" he hands me my keys and goes inside. I start my car and it seemed to be misfiring same as when I dropped it off. Also the 60% oil light was illuminated but the engine light was not. It was at 60% when I dropped it off. So no oil change was done. My ride left and It seemed ok to drive so I left. At this point, I was spending a lot of money, the car was older and I was overdue for a new car. I needed to trade it in. It's fixed (I thought) bc the engine computer light was off. So when I took it to get assessed, the guy asked if I had work done recently. "Yes I just picked it up. I had the coil changed and an oil change, within the past two months the list goes on." He said "No, it needs to be changed, it's misfiring and my diagnostic machine showed that all was done was the computer was cleared out but it's showing other work that was done prior and the dates of everything." I contacted John and asked what I was charged for?? The coil was not replaced nor was the spark plugs and all he said was "Dealer games, they're lying". Um, yeah..What are the odds I can get my, *$160 in cash only with no receipt* back?
