At one point I could no longer unlock the Driver's side door from the outside or inside as the long metal arm between the locking peg and the lock itself broke off. The mechanics at Mitchell machined a new part and then installed it for about $20. The car saw me through commissioned officer training in the Air Force, and my young family to our first duty station on the East Coast. I asked them not to scratch my license plate to let me remove the sticker myself, but they…read moreproceeded to use a window scraper and left my license plate looking worse than ever remove my month sticker against my request and then told me it wasn't required so could go to myself I don't care what the requirement is. I care that I didn't want the scratch marks and I didn't want the adhesive that had been birth on over the years making my plate look like shit. So I will get a replacement plate which will cost more money now on top of the extra $30 that they charge in comparison to anywhere else that's my TED talk.
