I'm very impressed by Patrick and his team at Auto Sound and Speed. I've been using them for the past year. They installed a dash cam and remote car start in my commuter car. A tail light bar on my F150. Fixed the electrical system on my custom car hauler and tinted the windows on my daughter's car to help her, as a new driver, with Sun glare. Patrick and the team go above and beyond. Their work is excellent and their customer service is top notch. Keep up the great work and terrific customer service! read more

UNPROFESSIONAL AND SLOPPY WORK!! The amplifier that I purchased and installed by him stopped working. I found that both the ground and the positive wires were disconnected because they were not properly clamped (that is how car fires start). I brought my car in to have him fix it. He wanted me to leave the car there all day for a 15 minute job. I would have to pay for an Uber. I didn't want to do that so I told him never mind I'll do it myself and asked him if I could have another connecter for the positive wire. HE TOLD ME "TO GET OUT OF THE STORE AND THAT I WAS AN ASSHOLE". I paid a lot of money for that installation and more than retail for that amplifier. I should not have been treated like that. WHAT A REAL POS! read more

CATASTROPHIC VEHICLE DAMAGE & DECEPTIVE PRACTICES - DO NOT TRUST I brought my brand-new vehicle to Auto Sound and Speed (Patrick) for an aftermarket component installation, and they completely destroyed the factory electrical infrastructure. A comprehensive professional teardown inspection revealed pure negligence and reckless hacking behind the dashboard cavity: * Severed Factory Wire Looms: They aggressively sliced open the primary factory wire looms and cut dozens of core copper lines flush against the OEM plastic connector plugs. * Irreparable Damage: Because they cut the wires so short, it is completely impossible to splice, solder, or re-pin them. The entire factory wiring harness is permanently ruined and requires a total, costly OEM replacement. * No Standard Integration: Instead of using required, vehicle-specific plug-and-play T-Harnesses to safely bridge components, they hacked directly into the main factory electrical loops using low-grade wire nuts and loose, exposed bundles. * Safety Systems Ruined: Their destructive manipulation of the communication pathways directly caused a total system failure of my vehicle's automated factory safety systems. * Warranty Voided: This butchered installation permanently compromised the electrical backbone and completely voided my manufacturer's warranty. I am out thousands of dollars in permanent structural property damage. I have already filed a formal consumer fraud file with the state Office of the Attorney General and initiated a full credit card chargeback dispute. I will be suing for the replacement of the factory wiring harnesses. read more

There are several times I could have rated this shop but given a cordial relationship my family developed I overlooked alot. Not this time. We paid to have 4 tires put on my daughters 2013 Ford Escape Titanium AWD and it included tires, mount, balance and I was told required 4 tire alignment and not just the front as it is AWD. That was May 31,2024. My daughter has hardly traveled 10k since then and she went to have the car inspected elsewhere as we stopped using the shop towards the end of last year. Her car failed for the back tires tread was far below the acceptable level. We checked the tire pressure to be sure they were not over or underinflated causing the uneven wear. My daughter called Patrick several times to get the tires replaced as this appears to be an issue with junk tires or the back 4 tires were not aligned as we were lead to believe. Patrick took a photo of the tires and there is a gash on the outside of one tire from 2 weeks ago when I drove the vehicle and hit the curb at Ross shopping plaza. Patrick has told my daughter Tire Rack will not honor the warranty on BOTH because of the gash on the rear passenger tire. It's on one tire but will not honor either tire. Patrick told my daughter he would call back on dofferent days and did not and she had to keep calling (this is common for Patrick). She needed the shop to honor the quality of the workmanship of installation and the product and will not. He said he would charge her 169 per tire (his cost) other wise it would be $25 more for each tire. He would "slap a sticker on it" and install the tires. My daughter would go back to the garage she paid $100 to inspect for the legit sticker. I believe the shop should honor the tires. This appears to be an install and quality issue and not at all the gash. That issue two weeks ago would not cause the tires to wear so irregularly and so low. Against my better judgment I reached out to Patrick directly and asked him to make right on this issue and he refused and now tells me my daughter can take the car elsewhere. Explain that to me. Tire Rack or Patrick refuses to honor the irregular wear of the two rear tires because of the gash on one tire. I was turning from a parking spot not even going 5 miles an hour not traveling at 45 and hit a curb. The two tires wore irregularly and in a way we could not have anticipated. My daughter is a single mother and needs her vehicle to be safe. That is why she was sure to get the vehicle winter ready mid year. There have been issues with the quality of tinting on the first vehicle he tinted (which is why we then went back to First Class for tint jobs). There were many issues trying to get Patrick to respond to my daughter's ex for 3 months - 3 months and Patrick even took the engine out of his car sent it to VA and never mentioned any of that to the owner of the car. Would not return calls. Had the car for THREE MONTHS. There were many other issues I would have to bring my cars back for. So for Patrick to tell me my daughter didn't or would not have had a 4 wheel alignment when she got her tires, I will try to attach the receipt detailing the services rendered. Here is an excerpt from Patricks text to me about the above: "The bill for her tires were 189 each plus install. The rep I use offered them to me 25 under what we pay for them as a courtesy to her. I offered to install them for free and put a sticker on it for free as well. The gash is what it is and even if it happened yesterday, no one can or will warranty it. It doesn't cause the wear, but is rejected for that. The front end was absolutely lined up, but the rear is fixed and has no adjustments that can even be made. I recommend at this point having her take it elsewhere." What Patrick is doing is reprehensible! This is not about anything except him leaving a customer high and dry and not honoring what he sold or the work he did or did not perform but charged for. Either way, avoid this location. read more

I brought my 2008 BMW 750li in for a diagnostic to see what was wrong with the I-drive, which was not working. I spoke with Bob and was quoted $125 for a diagnostic. I added that my cigarette lighters weren't working and asked if they could be checked out. After the work was done, I was shocked to be charged $260 with no prior approval, explanation, or phone call asking if I was okay with the increased price. When I questioned it, Patrick gave vague excuses about testing the fuses (causing the price to more than double!?). He was dishonest and unprofessional. A shop should honor its quoted price, or at the very least communicate any changes before doing the work. I think they lured me in with a reasonable diagnostic price. Once they had my car, they literally changed 3 fuses and more than doubled the price. Leaving me no choice but to pay. I won't be returning to Auto Speed and Sound, and I would not recommend them unless you want surprise up charges and to be ripped off!! read more

Stay away from this place and these crooks, I got ripped off in that place. Terrible service, no body there to talk too except for Mr. Patrick who's very disrespectful to customers, too arrogant and too cocky. Value ain't worth the money, quality of service and device installed is crap. I highly DO NOT recommend. read more

the costumer service was really bad and the guy behind the counter had an attitude.. it was really overpriced any other store would have charged less. read more

Always super helpful and quick. Whenever there's an issue Patrick takes time to explain it to me using the mechanic terminology and then simplifying it so I know exactly what's going on. He's always been really honest and upfront with me. He gives me all options instead of only presenting the option that makes him the most money and if something ends up being a quick easy fix he charges accordingly. Definitely a trustworthy place that really takes their time to do things the right way. read more

Great place! Pat knows what he is doing and his prices are fair. I go to him anytime I need tinting done or anything else really.

I have taken 2 vehicles to Auto Sound and Speed one for a back up camera and LED headlights on my 2008 VW Eos and one for blind spot monitors, LED headlights, and bug guard on my 2019 GMC Canyon. Patrick and staff did a remarkable job on the installs. I'm very pleased with the service I receive from them. read more

Pat installed entire lift kit 8 months ago. Now all of a sudden the truck is pulling hard to the right. I stop and check and my huge meaty $400 tires in the front are worn out on the inside completely to to metal mesh. He said he aligned it like you're supposed to do when you put a lift kit on a vehicle. But now I brought it back to him and he saying that the tierods need to be replaced because he cant get the tires aligned with the stock tierods. Ok. So the truck was never aligned correctly? He didnt know this when he took the tires off and butchered my suspension? And then he let me drive off with it with my family. Again there's no way that my tires should be worn down this much in only 6 months. I only use her on the weekends. No way. These tires should last me 4 years easy. So I bought 2 new tires and brought it to him. It's been 2 weeks. For tierods? Comon! never again will I bring any of my vehicles to pat. Oh and he will spend more time flirting with your girlfriend than making sure he's giving u a safe reliable vehicle. It's a shame. I liked and trusted him and now I have an attorney looking into what I can do. Ill keep u posted read more
