They will keep your money and take you through loops and zig zags to get it back. Even with full proof that the money was never returned. If you can spare to hold with cash and return with cash that'll be your best bet. If I didn't call back to ask for my hold fee. They would've never given it back. They have screened my calls and given me the runaround for days now. If the bank is telling you that the transaction never satisfied the account then why are you still saying you refunded my account when it's not there. Second the customer service is horrible. On my pick up day. Leonard, Hamze and their boss are horrible. Gave me a half ass detail on the car they sold to me. I mean what can you expect from shitty ppl. I could potentially be a future customer again or even spread word about this dealership if they actually have good customer service. After seeing how there boss doesn't say anything or make his place of business pleasant it trickles down to the office. We We're sitting in his office doing paperwork and he doesn't say two words to me. He then walks out of the office and doesn't say anything. Then Hamze walks in and tries to pressure me into doing a document that I clearly said I would do without him doing so, because if you guys wanted to do it then you would have charged me to do the same thing. I came to get the car and hand you the check. That's it! Got a whole check but can't refund me my holding Fee. I Repeat Stay away from Triad Imports! Your claims not adding up Triad Imports. Fix it!

They stuck to their word and kept consistent communication so I knew where I was within the process. I'd definitely buy another vehicle from them! It took them months to process my title, and the paperwork was full of errors. I had to resubmit documents multiple times just to get the DMV to approve them. During all of this, my temporary tags expired -- a completely avoidable problem caused by their delays. They also advertised that the vehicle came with LoJack installed. What they didn't tell me is that they removed LoJack from the final sale documents without notifying me. I even received a welcome message from LoJack, but the service was never activated. When I contacted the dealership, the manager told me it would cost $799 to activate it after the fact. Whether this was a mistake or something intentional, it's unacceptable. A dealership should not misrepresent features just to close a sale. From my perspective, once they got the deal done, they stopped caring about anything else. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with them.

Check engine light was fixed but still has the trans slip. Took it to a different garage and they felt the issue right away. Currently waiting to see what the carmax warranty wants to do to resolve the issue. It's certainly different than other dealerships, but lack of information seems to be their specialty. The "salesperson" helping us, didn't seem to know much about cars in general, any questions we asked about cars we were interested in, she had to look up, and if she couldn't find it, then she didn't know, and couldn't be bothered to ask anyone else. One car we liked, noted damage from a previous accident, and despite claiming to offer a free history report yet she couldn't tell us any details and said they don't offer the CarFax, but we could pay to get the details (!!), no a very honest or transparent business model. When it came to taking a test drive the salesperson just gave us the keys and told us to go drive it. Other dealerships we visited the salesperson rode with us, pointed out features and details of the car...the whole thing was just very awkward. The only warranty they offer with cars is a 90 limited warranty. Again, the whole experience was awkward , unprofessional, and didn't leave me feeling comfortable enough to spend any money with them

We had an awesome experience buying the car with Blaine, but it's been a 21 days of hell since we left the lot with the car. Now the car's check engine light is on, it is turning off while driving, and randomly stops accelerating. When we went back to the dealership to discuss the issues we were having, we were told that "however we bought the car is how the dealership had it" and "things breaks every day so there's no way the dealership sold a broken car". Overall, avoid Rick's Used Cars at all costs. The cars drive well for a test drive, and the staff are super kind until the check clears then you're on your own after dropping $14k on a car with issues the dealership shrugs a shoulder at.

We established email contact (my preference as he offered phone and email contacts) and I gained more info and decided to go with my wife to check out the vehicle and make a test drive. Blaine met us at Rick's Used Cars, which was VERY easy to find, spitting distance off of I-40 in Greensboro. Blaine has a very relaxed personality and was not at all pushy as some auto sales reps can be. He was very helpful, provided clear vehicle information, and then quickly got us on the road for a test drive. Rick's Used Cars had the vehicle in excellent condition, to include new tires, correct fluid levels, thoroughly cleaned, etc. We decided to purchase the vehicle, and Blaine worked with me on a trade-in, final out the door pricing, and I left a cash deposit in order to return several days later from Durham to complete the purchase. Throughout the process I saw Blaine as more of a partner in our vehicle inspection, test drive and purchase process. I have purchased seven used cars previously in my life and Blaine made this one the most pleasant and transparent of my now eight used vehicle purchases. When we upgrade my spouse's car in a year or so, I will give him my first call.

I arrived at 7:00am, even though their business hours are 9-7, and the truck was not on the lot. I had one of the sales guys' (Omar) phone numbers and called him four times before 9am trying to find out where the truck was. No answer. Finally, someone shows up at 9am. I tell them I'm there to pick up the truck and am informed it's at another location -- even though they knew I was coming. They say someone is bringing it over. About 25 minutes later, I'm told a "young guy" is driving it and they want him to take his time because it's a big truck. Another 25 minutes goes by, and then an older gentleman tells me they were pressure washing the truck, something got wet, and now it won't start. He offers to ship it to Cincinnati for free once they get it running. At this point, I still haven't even seen the truck and tell them I want to inspect it. They send me to another location they own, I-40 Auto, about 20 minutes away. When I arrive, the truck is sitting in a field and very clearly was NOT pressure washed -- it just had morning dew on it. AJ (the owner's son) wouldn't give me space while I was inspecting the truck, constantly talking and asking if I liked it. I eventually had to tell him to give me room. Despite everything, I still wanted to move forward with the purchase. That's when AJ tells me they lost the key, and the truck needs to be taken to Ford because the remaining keys won't program. Fine. About an hour later, the truck is towed to High Point Ford. At Ford, I explain the situation to a service advisor named Jessie and am told they'll try to get it running that day. While waiting, I overhear someone mention the truck was just there recently for a check engine light, but the owner declined diagnosis. When I asked Jessie about it, he said he couldn't release any information since I wasn't the owner. I contacted Sebar Auto and told them they needed to authorize Ford to release the information or the deal was off. After nearly 40 minutes of back and forth -- and Sebar Auto claiming I was "getting in the way" while standing quietly in a corner -- Ford finally released the details. To summarize: * The truck was not ready * I was sent to multiple locations * I was given conflicting explanations * The truck had known mechanical issues * None of this was disclosed upfront After all of this, instead of taking responsibility or addressing the situation, Sebar Auto sent me a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in an apparent attempt to keep me quiet about my experience. This entire situation was disorganized, exhausting, and a complete waste of time. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.
