    I bought a car end of February this year. For the first month it was in the shop getting multiple parts replaced. I'm going back tomorrow for further work. Bottom line: I was sold an "as-is" lemon that they clearly continued clearing codes on to avoid having to make the repairs themselves all to screw a customer over in the end. My last email to them in this debacle was sent March 18 and I'm still waiting for a response. All I'm seeking is compensation for the repairs they clearly shirked off, but even that seems too much to ask of them. Avoid them like the plague! I'll never do business with them again.

    Regret & disappointment !! I found Impex through a car ad on Auto Trader. I read some positive Google reviews & decided to visit. The salesman, "Hash" also sent me a video of the car. I spoke briefly with him on the phone, and he also spoke to my son. Hash Let us know that "the car was in excellent condition, recently maintained, and was simply beautiful". I also shared that I had broken my neck and ribs a couple years earlier. Because of that, I especially needed a safe car, a reliable one that sat higher, and that I could back up easily. We arranged to visit the next day. Everything went downhill from there. We arrived at the dealership early. Hash did come in an hour early for us. However, he spent very little time with us overall, and more time on his phone. The car was running when we got into it. So, we never saw that there was a "system maintenance warning" when you turn on the vehicle. Apparently, they also did not want us to see this. We did drive the car for several miles and all seemed OK. There was an alignment issue and we did bring that up. Hash said "they would fix that for us". We purchased the car within a couple of hours (I already had my own financing). As I drove off, I noticed the "system maintenance" light come on. I thought it may have been an error. I wanted to believe Hash that the car was in "excellent condition". I texted him about this, as I was stunned that I was never told of this. I even said "I have to believe you would not have knowingly hid this from me". He said "that they could fix that when the car came in to be aligned". He said "the car had been maintained recently, but his mechanics failed to clear the message". Sadly, within 24 hours of purchase, the engine light came on and stayed on!! I could not believe this! It was a week worth of many hours lost at my job driving it back to Impex, and waiting for them to try & diagnose the issue. I'd already taken the car to a mechanic and hooked up a computer to read the error code. I made Impex aware of this code. They had the car almost 2 days, did a thorough check, and said "it was an electrical system issue and they would have a master technician look at it". Prior, they were not able to clear the engine light code. They eventually were able to clear it, and said "it wasn't the catalytic converter, an O2 sensor or a crack in the pipe to the converter". All things that I had researched in relation to the error code. But, they truly were not sure what the issue was. I came and got the car and hoped all had been fixed. Well, a week and a half later, the engine light is back on! The car is 3 yrs old with 25k miles on it. This should've never happened! And, they'd had the car for long enough prior to selling it to me to know these issues. As mentioned, I will now have to lose more time from my job, more sleepless nights, and have more HUGE disappointment about my decision to purchase from Impex. I will now be taking it to a KIA dealership and have them truly let me know what is wrong with it. This really has been a nightmare

    Missing pinstripes on passenger side from door to front fender!!!

    My car was purchased in June 2023 only to find out the car has been repaired and repainted it was sold as a accident free vehicle according to the carfax reports On IMPEX AUTO SALES website . Pinstripes are only on one side of car and not on the other passenger side. Paint shops and detailing shops both agreed It has been repainted. Why was it not fixed correctly ? Why was this information not reported by Carfax reports? I should have been charged much less for a damaged car!!! Price charged was for a excellent quality car not one that had damage and was repainted to cover it up. Do not Buy from this Scam Dealer I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DO BUSINESS WE THESE CROOKS. Look elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great at returning phone calls to sell a car but after the sell will not respond to calls or emails when they owe you anything

We had an awesome experience buying the car with Blaine, but it's been a 21 days of hell since we left the lot with the car. Now the car's check engine light is on, it is turning off while driving, and randomly stops accelerating. When we went back to the dealership to discuss the issues we were having, we were told that "however we bought the car is how the dealership had it" and "things breaks every day so there's no way the dealership sold a broken car". Overall, avoid Rick's Used Cars at all costs. The cars drive well for a test drive, and the staff are super kind until the check clears then you're on your own after dropping $14k on a car with issues the dealership shrugs a shoulder at.

We established email contact (my preference as he offered phone and email contacts) and I gained more info and decided to go with my wife to check out the vehicle and make a test drive. Blaine met us at Rick's Used Cars, which was VERY easy to find, spitting distance off of I-40 in Greensboro. Blaine has a very relaxed personality and was not at all pushy as some auto sales reps can be. He was very helpful, provided clear vehicle information, and then quickly got us on the road for a test drive. Rick's Used Cars had the vehicle in excellent condition, to include new tires, correct fluid levels, thoroughly cleaned, etc. We decided to purchase the vehicle, and Blaine worked with me on a trade-in, final out the door pricing, and I left a cash deposit in order to return several days later from Durham to complete the purchase. Throughout the process I saw Blaine as more of a partner in our vehicle inspection, test drive and purchase process. I have purchased seven used cars previously in my life and Blaine made this one the most pleasant and transparent of my now eight used vehicle purchases. When we upgrade my spouse's car in a year or so, I will give him my first call.

I have owned diesel to gas, convertible to sedan. They have been red, black, brown and blue. They all could have been driven for hundreds of thousands of miles more than I drove them if not for the fact that they all had an untimely death. They have also saved my life several times. Like there was the time I was on my way to a Community Theatre of Greensboro production of Judgment at Nuremburg and was waiting at a stoplight by the baseball stadium. Suddenly, this maniac goes right thru the light, crashes into the ongoing traffic and then flips in the air, bounces on top of my car and lands upside down at the intersection. If not for my heavy duty Mercedes, I am sure I would have been killed. It was totaled and needless to say I was late to the theatre! Or there was the time I was on my way to a performance of Cabaret at CTG and just as I was passing Friendly Shopping Center on Benjamin Parkway a baby deer jumped out in front of me. It escaped but its poor mother who was following close behind crashed right into me, demolishing my car and getting killed. The poor fawn got hit by a car on the other side and died as well. I If not for my heavy duty Mercedes, I am sure I would have been killed. It was totaled and needless to say I was late to the theatre! Everyone used to tell me, "Don't buy a Mercedes! All the parts and service are so expensive." Or," Don't buy a Mercedes. They cost so much money!" Well, I have one answer for them... European Accents! I came upon European Accents via Mike, may he rest in peace, who used to be a client of theirs. Both Greg and Les are amazing mechanics. Knowledgeable, helpful, professional, honest, reliable, punctual, communicative, hardworking and just awesome across the board. Greg has been my man to go to at EA and I have such respect for this guy. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. It it's going to cost $750, that's what it is. And if it can be fixed for $19.99, that is fine with them as well. Over the many years I have been with them they have changed my oil, replaced my radiator, fixed the fan for my heater/AC, saved my butt when stalled on the highway and gave me a ride home when stranded. It is true Mercedes parts might be more expensive that other cars but the tradeoff is that the parts last forever and the car can go for hundreds of thousands of miles. And as far as cost to purchase one, I could never see myself buying a new one, but there is no need to when you work with European Accents, I have purchased my last three cars from them and I have been thrilled with each purchase. The present one I have is a black Mercedes E320 diesel series from 2005 . When new I am sure it cost a pretty penny and was at a price I could not afford. But my purchase thru European Accents as a used car was at a terrific price. It has all the bells and whistles for a 2005 and I feel real classy riding around in it. And most importantly, it has an incredible ride and feels strong and durable on the road or in God forbid an accident of some kind. I don't know where Greg finds these cars, but they are always immaculate, in terrific condition with not too many miles at an affordable price. That's another reason why I love European Accents. I may know a lot about certain things, but I am an ignoramus when it comes to cars. Thank God I have Greg and Les and European Accents who I trust explicitly and always amaze me with their knowledge of every inch of my car. Like an experienced physician, I tell "Dr."Greg the symptoms and after a quick assessment, and upon further examination he solves the problem. Every time!
