I did, and it uncovered some repairs that needed to be addressed, which has already left me without my new car during the first 7 days of ownership while it's in the shop. Unfortunately, I also haven't been able to find a rental car because everything nearby is sold out. The car-buying process itself was easy-peasy, and I do appreciate that the warranty appears to be covering the repairs. However, I would have loved to receive a vehicle that didn't immediately need repairs after purchase. Good enough that I'd go with it for the convenience of it. Answered their questions, gave them the documents, scheduled an appointment for today, 5pm. Great experience other than the car being EXTREMELY dirty inside. Gun in the carpet, terrible smell, food / crumbs everywhere... honestly I'm not sure they even took a vacuum to it. Beware that photos DO NOT show damage in a revealing way. Dings on doors, gouges, scratches, interior damage etc was NOT visible on the photos. Do not rely on Carvana's pictures to be a true representation of the actual condition of the car. Carvana website only showed 3 very minor nicks in the paint, and did not show much larger nicks including: one on the side about the size of a nickle, also a large scratch in the paint on the door. Carvana would not do anything about these 2 issues saying it was wear and tear. That may be debatable, but the facts are they only showed very minor issues as stated defects, and did not show much worse actual issues. Now the worst defect was a plastic side panel that appeared to have been cleaned with some chemical that melted the surface. Carvana did offer $200 for this issue. While better than nothing, no where near enough to replace the part. Other than these issues, I do like the car and I'm keeping it. If you are thinking about buying from Carvana, I would suggest not buying online and sight unseen. Only buy at a local Carvana, where you personally can look the car over. Do not depend on their evaluations to show all the defects. Also, Carvana's 7 day return is not actually 7 full days. I picked the car up on Tuesday at 4:00. One would think 7 days would be at 4:00 the following Tuesday or at least some time the following Tuesday. While checking the status of my claims on Monday around noon, I noticed Carvana's website was showing the 7 day return period had already ended in less than 6 full days. WOW. read more

Very disheartened to say that this vehicle, after 22 days, we found out it had warped rotors. Costing us $1,200 that they would not cover. They said the brakes and rotors were good to go when we bought it. Just not right. Also had some paint dents that when I picked it up I pointed out and they said they would take care of them. Only to be later denied coverage on that too. Issues were there when we got it. We found ourselves in the unfortunate circumstances of needing a new car after my wife's was considered totaled following an accident over the holidays. From all the advertising, we'd heard many things about Carvana, and their car vending machines....but I guess it's easy spread a big hype when is your own advertising. We checked out their website and found several great options, but when we reached out to the local dealer, who they are came out. We had to call several times before we could actually get a human to speak to, which was a red flag...then when we asked about it coming into test drive some the cars we saw, the woman laughed and told us they don't offer test drives (????)! She went on to say the car are paid for online, and delivered to your home. They "offer a full 360 view of the car so you know what you're getting". My offer expires tomorrow and they tell me I need it in written for that it has been released. I cant wait an additional 5 business for the letter in the mail, and i cant make a 5 to 6 hour round trip for one document. They only told me this today. They won't do anything to help obtain any information. Won't call you. Nothing. Unhelpful. Horrible experience. I 100% recommend cargurus over carvana! Nothing hut trouble and problem after problem. My review is on Carvana in general and not specifically limited to this facility... Buyer Beware!! If you purchase a vehicle from Carvana, please be sure to have it inspected by a third party, even if you purchase the extended warranty, which I did. I purchased a 2017 BMW from them in November. By January, the car was leaking oil. I added a quart, cleared the issue, and figured it was just due to the cold weather. In February, I had to do this again. Still not thinking much of this, I waited to schedule an oil change in line with timing if next scheduled routine repair timeframe as I had not noticed any pooling of oil or smoke from the car, so no indication of burning oil or a leak. Come April, only four months of owning the car, all of the coolant had leaked from the car and the engine was overheating. The coolant used by last service technician, which was supposedly Carvana as indicated by the maintenance sticker, was NOT European car grade, which is blue, as the residue was brown in the chamber. I did a Flush and Fill to correct this, and by the next morning, all of the coolant had once again drained from the car. I had to have the car towed to BMW for repair as driving it in this condition could destroy the engine. My claim under warranty was declined as "the parts are not specifically part of the engine" despite being vital to engine health. Now I will be out of pocket over $5,000 to restore a car to working condition that I have had for four months, and the only offer Carvana made to "correct" was to buy the car back and sell me another one. I declined this option as there would still be the need for me to pay for repairs out of pocket to sell the car, which brings it to full working condition, and I'd take a hit on the purchase price while also getting another ticking time bomb whose issue would conveniently be determined after the warranty expired. Protect yourself, get a third party opinion in the seven days you have the car before purchase is final. I certainly wish I had! read more

Thats my only vehicle.THEY should cover the entire cost of having to get a rental car and the 3414.18 estimate to fix my truck that Carvana did to my truck during shipping. Carvana thru SilverRock won't cover the damage because the date their bodyshop gave me to fix my truck was after the March 10 window. I have no control over how booked up a bodyshop is and i feel they should cover it regardless since they (Carvana) damaged it. Worst experience, purchased a 2019 Ram 1500. It arrived on 3/17/26 at night, on the test drive the check engine light came on. I took it to the shop the next day to find it needs a new catalytic converter, many seals leaking like the rear main seal, valve cover, oil drain plug, and an undisclosed chip in the windshield. This was on 3/17, i still dont have the truck and its 4/1. The warranty company approved the fixes but then called me to tell me I will need to take it to a Ram dealer for the converter rather than my local shop replace it. So now ill probably have to wait another two weeks once this first set of repairs are done. Carvanas recommendation was "I can either return it or exchange it". When I picked up the truck I don't understand how the truck passed NC inspection with the tires in such bad shape. The manufacturer date was 42nd week of 2018 and were severely dry rotted. I was afraid to drive the truck all the way home and I had to stop and buy a new set. The tire dealer and a mechanic / inspection station said they shouldn't have passed inspection. I also had an issue with the remote start not working. The lady at the pickup location said she would put in a request to have someone reach out in 24-48 hours to help me resolve the issue. I have yet to hear anything from anyone. When I was at the tire shop another guy and asked if I had just picked up my truck from you and I said yes. He had severely dry rotted tires also with his vehicle he just picked up. I guess this is a standard problem with your inspectors which needs to be resolved. I showed pitures to a friend that is a highway patrol officer he said that this is a major safety issue. If I would've been stopped by a police officer I would've received a ticket for unsafe tires. read more

I ordered a car and submitted the proof of insurance. unfortunately the form said my insurance was ending in 29 days past the pickup date of the car. Even though I showed a receipt that I had paid through the next six months as well, they would not accept the proof of insurance. They initially told me that N.C. DMV requires this. When I told them they do not, the representative said, "while North Carolina may not require insurance to extend 30 days into the future for registration, Carvana require this to ensure a smooth registration process and compliance with our internal policies". She also said "since your current policy ends December 28th, 2025, it falls one day short of the required 30 days." I had already told them that I had been to the insurance company twice today, they would not process the cash sale of the car because I fell short one day of a fake law. She once again stated that "In order to register your vehicle, the DMV requires that you provide and updated insurance policy". Meaning I had to go back and get something that stated I had one extra day of insurance coverage. After going back and forth with Ashley and Valentina, I cancelled the purchase of the vehicle that was already paid for and requested a refund. Beware, they have terrible customer service! All of my paperwork was correct and they said they didn't get the right vin number on the car. The car was shockingly delivered to me without the NC inspection on Friday 5pm which was three hours after my preferred time! They said they can bring the car again on Monday with inspection which I didn't agree since I needed the car on weekend. So I had to go to their Raleigh facility to complete the inspection next Monday. 1- The car's trunk was full of water on a rainy Friday! The driver's taillight was loose and water went down through a gap to the bottom of trunk during the rain fall. I went through a lot of struggle to clean it. 2- The car interior was so dirty and smelly! they said they will send a $100 check for detailing which is not enough for full detailing!!! So, Carvana lies about a complete car cleaning before delivery!!! 3- Passengers' door speaker wasn't working 4- Passengers' power lock wasn't working 5- Center dash driver side was broken and some black stuff came out when the AC was turn on! 6- There was a sound from engine when I accelerated the car. My mechanic showed me a worn out drive belt that needs to be replaced immediately! (this is different from belt chain in the engine)! I spent the whole week to fix those problems with their preferred facilities and Mazda dealership. I almost didn't have a car for four days to take care of those problems which were not supposed to exist!! All mechanical cost was covered under warranty without deductible though. Long story short, the 150 points inspection is a huge joke and lie. The inside team refused for any reimbursement because of the all hassle and struggle that I have been through. I spent a lot of money on UBER and my time at work to take care of those issues. That's not acceptable and so unfair. The inside team said I can return the car and they will waive the shipping cost but that wasn't what I wanted. I chose Carvana because of its car selection. I could find a model and color that is super rare in the market. I ordered a lot of parts to boost the interior and exterior of my Mazda 3 and many of them were none refundable!!! So basically I had to keep the car. The person who delivered the car was very kind and supportive to me but that didn't solve my concerns unfortunately. So disappointed! read more

I really can't get over the prices, but not only that, they repair minor things to make the car better. I noticed, on the 150 point inspection, that if it needs it, they do things like replace the tires, or do other things. There are negative things about Carvana. I wish they had more people on the phone. I had to wait 20 minutes. But the reason I didn't lower the five star score is because they had a call back machine so I would not have to wait on the phone. My family has bought three cars there, and they Carvana did make 3 mistakes, but they were all clerical. The car was fine. My car ended up costing less than the car stores. In the end, I would have to say that when ever buying something expensive like a car, you can't remove all the stress. But they seemed to remove as much of the scum used car salesman smell that often comes with stores. They do not charge that ridiculous added fee that stores usually add for no reason. I've had to deal with this fee before. When I asked the stores what that fee was for, they had no answer, just that they add several hundred dollars. Carvana does NOT have that fee, and as far as I know, you can keep the car for a week and still return it if you do not like it. This is a good time to have a mechanic check it out. read more
