Shit customer service. Unhelpful. Beyond not hassle free. I was trying to sell a car in excellent condition. But their bullshit policy and systems shows lien on the title from 2 owners ago. Spoke to the lender and the lien is and had been closed so she cant do anything electronically like carvana needed. My offer expires tomorrow and they tell me I need it in written for that it has been released. I cant wait an additional 5 business for the letter in the mail, and i cant make a 5 to 6 hour round trip for one document. They only told me this today. They won't do anything to help obtain any information. Won't call you. Nothing. Unhelpful. Horrible experience. I 100% recommend cargurus over carvana! Nothing hut trouble and problem after problem. They first told me I simply needed to provide pictures of my title ans showing the lien section as EMPTY, it is, and I did so. I've purchased two cars from Carvana and sold them one. The first experience was great and brought me back. Very disheartened to say that this vehicle, after 22 days, we found out it had warped rotors. Costing us $1,200 that they would not cover. They said the brakes and rotors were good to go when we bought it. Just not right. Also had some paint dents that when I picked it up I pointed out and they said they would take care of them. Only to be later denied coverage on that too. Issues were there when we got it. Took 22 days to find them out as we were driving downhill when it started shuttering violently with my infants in the car. But apparently we needed to find this out with 7 days. It's nonsense. We found ourselves in the unfortunate circumstances of needing a new car after my wife's was considered totaled following an accident over the holidays. From all the advertising, we'd heard many things about Carvana, and their car vending machines....but I guess it's easy spread a big hype when is your own advertising. We checked out their website and found several great options, but when we reached out to the local dealer, who they are came out. We had to call several times before we could actually get a human to speak to, which was a red flag...then when we asked about it coming into test drive some the cars we saw, the woman laughed and told us they don't offer test drives (????)! She went on to say the car are paid for online, and delivered to your home. They "offer a full 360 view of the car so you know what you're getting". This is completely baffling to me, I'm really not sure who would ever buy a car without a test drive, but it certainly isn't me. Worst experience, purchased a 2019 Ram 1500. It arrived on 3/17/26 at night, on the test drive the check engine light came on. I took it to the shop the next day to find it needs a new catalytic converter, many seals leaking like the rear main seal, valve cover, oil drain plug, and an undisclosed chip in the windshield. This was on 3/17, i still dont have the truck and its 4/1. The warranty company approved the fixes but then called me to tell me I will need to take it to a Ram dealer for the converter rather than my local shop replace it. So now ill probably have to wait another two weeks once this first set of repairs are done. Carvanas recommendation was "I can either return it or exchange it". Honestly, this is a terrible experience and customer service and I would never recommend it. read more

Beware of this company everyone and also their claims company that they use!! They should be investigated!When i purchased my car. I paid 600+ to ship it to greensboro. To ship it to my address, it was gonna be an addl 500+. Everytime i went to pickup my truck they would cancel without explanation and reschedule at the last minute. They did this twice without an explanation. On the third time which was Jan 9th,my truck was sitting outside the building when i went there to pick it up, with a massive dent and a smaller dent they caused during shipping. I accepted the truck because i had a 7 day return policy and told the man at Carvana I was gonna return it if they refused to fix it within 7 days. I had been taking off from work all 3 times and drove just under 2 hours to get there. They said they would pay for the repair thru SilverRock-their claims company. Now keep in mind that you have to go to one of THEIR approved body shops.Now when i go to schedule it to be fixed-their repair shop says it'll take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to fix. Thats my only vehicle.THEY should cover the entire cost of having to get a rental car and the 3414.18 estimate to fix my truck that Carvana did to my truck during shipping. Carvana thru SilverRock won't cover the damage because the date their bodyshop gave me to fix my truck was after the March 10 window. I have no control over how booked up a bodyshop is and i feel they should cover it regardless since they (Carvana) damaged it. I don't have the time to take off from work to do all the running around they caused me. In my opinion, they should pay me for the damage they did to my truck and all of the massive inconvenience and aggravation and wasted time they caused me. I could not get my truck fixed because Carvana (SilverRock) would not pay it because the date the bodyshop gave me was after March 10. So THEIR body shop that they approve of tells me they can get to it April 8 so they can weasel their way out of paying!!! Beware of Carvana and beware of SilverRock(their claims company) Scammers! In conclusion, Carvana wouldn't bother to tell me in advance that they damaged my truck with a massive dent and a smaller dent as well in the side That they caused.Instead, they waited till I drove two hours to get there and surprise me with it. My review is on Carvana in general and not specifically limited to this facility... Buyer Beware!! If you purchase a vehicle from Carvana, please be sure to have it inspected by a third party, even if you purchase the extended warranty, which I did. I purchased a 2017 BMW from them in November. By January, the car was leaking oil. I added a quart, cleared the issue, and figured it was just due to the cold weather. In February, I had to do this again. Still not thinking much of this, I waited to schedule an oil change in line with timing if next scheduled routine repair timeframe as I had not noticed any pooling of oil or smoke from the car, so no indication of burning oil or a leak. Come April, only four months of owning the car, all of the coolant had leaked from the car and the engine was overheating. The coolant used by last service technician, which was supposedly Carvana as indicated by the maintenance sticker, was NOT European car grade, which is blue, as the residue was brown in the chamber. I did a Flush and Fill to correct this, and by the next morning, all of the coolant had once again drained from the car. I had to have the car towed to BMW for repair as driving it in this condition could destroy the engine. My claim under warranty was declined as "the parts are not specifically part of the engine" despite being vital to engine health. Now I will be out of pocket over $5,000 to restore a car to working condition that I have had for four months, and the only offer Carvana made to "correct" was to buy the car back and sell me another one. I declined this option as there would still be the need for me to pay for repairs out of pocket to sell the car, which brings it to full working condition, and I'd take a hit on the purchase price while also getting another ticking time bomb whose issue would conveniently be determined after the warranty expired. Protect yourself, get a third party opinion in the seven days you have the car before purchase is final. I certainly wish I had! read more

I ordered a car and submitted the proof of insurance. unfortunately the form said my insurance was ending in 29 days past the pickup date of the car. Even though I showed a receipt that I had paid through the next six months as well, they would not accept the proof of insurance. They initially told me that N.C. DMV requires this. When I told them they do not, the representative said, "while North Carolina may not require insurance to extend 30 days into the future for registration, Carvana require this to ensure a smooth registration process and compliance with our internal policies". She also said "since your current policy ends December 28th, 2025, it falls one day short of the required 30 days." I had already told them that I had been to the insurance company twice today, they would not process the cash sale of the car because I fell short one day of a fake law. She once again stated that "In order to register your vehicle, the DMV requires that you provide and updated insurance policy". Meaning I had to go back and get something that stated I had one extra day of insurance coverage. After going back and forth with Ashley and Valentina, I cancelled the purchase of the vehicle that was already paid for and requested a refund. Beware, they have terrible customer service! They will lose a sale over a policy that makes you jump through hoops. I have bought dozens of cars from other dealerships and had no problems of this kind. I do not recommend them!! read more

Do NOT buy a car from Carvana. I had purchased a car paid cash for it. They asked for insurance on the car before we was to pick it up. I got insurance the same day we purchased the car. All of my paperwork was correct and they said they didn't get the right vin number on the car. The problem was is that I already had a Tesla and was purchasing another one. so no one looked at my insurance paper and they canceled my car on their own. Took my money and had to call them because we were there to pick up a car that I didn't even know they canceled it on me and then they didnt even return the money until we try to pick up the car a week later. The car was shockingly delivered to me without the NC inspection on Friday 5pm which was three hours after my preferred time! They said they can bring the car again on Monday with inspection which I didn't agree since I needed the car on weekend. So I had to go to their Raleigh facility to complete the inspection next Monday. 1- The car's trunk was full of water on a rainy Friday! The driver's taillight was loose and water went down through a gap to the bottom of trunk during the rain fall. I went through a lot of struggle to clean it. 2- The car interior was so dirty and smelly! they said they will send a $100 check for detailing which is not enough for full detailing!!! So, Carvana lies about a complete car cleaning before delivery!!! 3- Passengers' door speaker wasn't working 4- Passengers' power lock wasn't working 5- Center dash driver side was broken and some black stuff came out when the AC was turn on! 6- There was a sound from engine when I accelerated the car. My mechanic showed me a worn out drive belt that needs to be replaced immediately! (this is different from belt chain in the engine)! I spent the whole week to fix those problems with their preferred facilities and Mazda dealership. I almost didn't have a car for four days to take care of those problems which were not supposed to exist!! All mechanical cost was covered under warranty without deductible though. Long story short, the 150 points inspection is a huge joke and lie. The inside team refused for any reimbursement because of the all hassle and struggle that I have been through. I spent a lot of money on UBER and my time at work to take care of those issues. That's not acceptable and so unfair. The inside team said I can return the car and they will waive the shipping cost but that wasn't what I wanted. I chose Carvana because of its car selection. I could find a model and color that is super rare in the market. I ordered a lot of parts to boost the interior and exterior of my Mazda 3 and many of them were none refundable!!! So basically I had to keep the car. The person who delivered the car was very kind and supportive to me but that didn't solve my concerns unfortunately. So disappointed! read more

I really can't get over the prices, but not only that, they repair minor things to make the car better. I noticed, on the 150 point inspection, that if it needs it, they do things like replace the tires, or do other things. There are negative things about Carvana. I wish they had more people on the phone. I had to wait 20 minutes. But the reason I didn't lower the five star score is because they had a call back machine so I would not have to wait on the phone. My family has bought three cars there, and they Carvana did make 3 mistakes, but they were all clerical. The car was fine. My car ended up costing less than the car stores. In the end, I would have to say that when ever buying something expensive like a car, you can't remove all the stress. But they seemed to remove as much of the scum used car salesman smell that often comes with stores. They do not charge that ridiculous added fee that stores usually add for no reason. I've had to deal with this fee before. When I asked the stores what that fee was for, they had no answer, just that they add several hundred dollars. Carvana does NOT have that fee, and as far as I know, you can keep the car for a week and still return it if you do not like it. This is a good time to have a mechanic check it out. read more

Not to mention that depending upon who you speak with, you WILL get a different answer. My son suggested that I try Carvana and I'm so glad I did. The entire process can be done online. The total amount of time I spent sending documents, returning emails was about 2 hours. The young man who came out to my home was very professional and polite. We pre signed all the documents so all we had to do was bring the title to the Carvana location in Graham. When we arrived we were greeted promptly, and the inspection process was seamless. We were ready to go with our check in under 15 minutes. It would have been less time than that, but the young man that handled the transaction took the time to comfort my young grandson who was sad to see the car go as he said, "I grew up in that car." So I bought a car from them last week. 150 points inspection is a huge joke and lie. I work out of town and drove 8 Hrs to come pick it up . Not only did they reschedule my delivery time to the carvana in Greensboro . The inside of the car was so nasty . I had to get professionally cleaned which cost me almost $200 bucks. Went to the mechanic when I got back to the state that I work in. Lots of small issues that need to be addressed that they did not catch on the 150 point inspection. If they would have really done one. They caught those issues. How about $900 in repairs the car seems like it's gonna be decent but I would never buy another car from them and I would not recommend anyone buying one a company that does not do what they say that they do cannot be trusted. I tried to call and talk to someone in Customer service and I just gotta run around. Of course I have the seven day return but I drove it all the way to my work state I was over the mileage and I wasn't going to pay a dollar A mile to return it . It's definitely been a life lesson but in the future, I would actually go to somewhere else, but I can actually see the car and test drive an in person so you can see what you're definitely getting. There was a lot more rust under the car that also had to be addressed so it wouldn't be a bigger issue later on. That cost me around $600 on top of the $900 that I already spent. While I do hold some grievances towards Carvana's website and a few aspects of the process(since it changed fairly recently and made it worse for the customer), Carvana Greensboro specifically really came through. I chose delivery, and the vehicle arrived almost an hour early which turned out to be super convenient for me. The process was quick, didn't take longer than 5-10 minutes before I was driving off. Car was exactly as depicted, and you could tell it was recently cleaned. Great experience overall, would definitely recommend, especially for those just starting out or with limited credit history. read more
