This is the only place we take our cars for service. Their work is excellent, their price is fair and everyone there is friendly.

Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care

I usually don't make a point of posting negative reviews online but this has been so egregiously…read morebad that I feel it warrants one. I took my car in to change out my winter tires (185-60-15) and put on my OEM summer tires (205-45-17) and have the TPMS reset. I needed to take it in purely because I needed the TPMS reset because I'm unable to take care of that on my own. I called and set up an appointment for 1pm and specifically said that I needed the tires changed and that the TPMS needed reset. I rope my brother into this project because I'd need a ride from Conrads and his car was large enough to fit all 4 wheels in it. I take my car in at 1pm, drop off my keys and summer tires and we leave to grab lunch. I'm assuming that we should stay close to Conrad's because I didn't think it could possibly take more than an hour to take care of this. Oh, how wrong I was. My car sat there for probably 4 and a half hours before anyone bothered to get to it. I called once at around 4pm and asked what the status was and was sort of dismissively told that there were other cars in front of mine and that they hadn't gotten to it yet. I checked their website to see what their hours were and discovered that they were closing at 5pm! I called again, this time very annoyed by how long this was taking. I told them that they were wasting my time and my brother's time by taking as long as they were. If they were going to get to my car at their leisure then why even bother setting up an appointment to begin with?!? They've effectively wasted both of our days, the first truly nice day of the year, to add insult to injury. So I get my car back, mostly relieved to have this whole thing done and over with because my brother had plans and I was worried that he'd be late waiting around for this situation to be resolved. He takes off and I decide to take my car out for a drive because there was still some daylight left. I'm driving around and notice there's a warning light. I look on the infotainment system and, lo and behold, it's a tire pressure monitor fault. They didn't even reset the TPMS. Unbelievable. That's the only reason I bothered taking it anywhere to begin with. If you're considering this place because it's pretty cheap, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and go somewhere else. You won't save money but you'll save yourself time and aggravation. Update: I took my car into a different place to have my TPMS reset, which costed $20 plus tax. I received two phone calls on Monday from people from Conrad's. Both of them apologized and offered to refund the cost of the tire rotation and the cost of the TPMS reset at the competitor company I took it to. I think it speaks volumes as to how a company handles a dissatisfied customer and Conrad's has stepped up to make this right. I've changed my review to reflect how Conrad's has gone above and beyond to make things right.

Went in for one tire and a rear wiper blade. Joe at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful!…read more The mechanics and Brian were rude. At the end of the service, the donut and all of the parts to that compartment, were not put back together! I complained. The mechanic said he couldn't do it because the hatchback wouldn't open. I said just go in through the side door. That's how I got the donut out and how I put the flat in!! I'm a 78 year old woman! so, he came out to the parking spot and finished the service that I paid for! Then I got a comment under his breath from Brian on my way out of the shop. Not good! Don't go there!!!

It's really hard to find HONEST car mechanics…read more Twice now, I have taken my car in and told them I was sure I needed brake pad replacements. Both times, they sent me on my way with the assurance that the brakes were fine. A dishonest mechanic would have replaced them the first time. Their prices are reasonable and they have often times, tweaked things for free. Although I believe no mechanic is perfect due to the nature of the business and countless variables, I am fairly confident that A to Z does honest reliable work. I would highly recommend them.

Since my regular mechanic was swamped and was leaving for vacation, I decide to try A to Z after some research. Every past review was positive. John was very accommodating. He checked out my vehicle (no leaks or damage), topped off the brake fluid and put air in the tires for no charge. He would't even accept a tip. The issue seems to be resolved. Friendly and honest customer service. Highly recommend to anyone who owns a relatively older vehicle in North Royalton. I am seriously considering switching permanently, because I like John's management style better. A to Z answers their phone, unlike my regular mechanic, who doesn't always pick up or, for that matter, return phone calls when I leave a message. It seems that A to Z appreciates the business.
