My truck is a war veteran slouches to the passenger side after a near extinction event wreck in…read morethat area and can't be aligned so it eats up the front passenger tire about every 6 to 9 months. Time was up on that tire and it was beginning to 'squirm' as it delaminated inside in preparation for going super-tire-nova on US 19 at 60 MPH and killing me. I had been to 4 other used tire places with no luck finding the size tire I needed. Was it super special? No, I couldn't find it because it was super normal. Finally I was referred to Tip Top Tires by one of the last tire places I went to. And of course they didn't have that 'normal' size either (they were all sold out at all these places). But they had a brilliant idea: Use a slightly larger (1") size and just do both front tires! Great! I was sold, do it I said! Bingo bango job done in little or no time, and I was on the road to work instead of the road to perdition or worse! And to top it off, my non-normal big tread tires make that cool knobbly sound on the road like REAL trucks do. I am very happy with them, and when it's time for a new passenger tire in 6-9 months from now, that is where I will go! Phil T.
