We paid $10 each, which we were fine with if the food had been fresh -- but it definitely wasn't. As soon as we opened the sandwiches, we noticed the meats looked off. Several slices had gray discoloration and odd textures (see photos). It was enough to make us uncomfortable eating them. For what we paid, we expected at least fresh, safe food -- not something that looked like it had been sitting around too long or stored improperly. Disappointed is an understatement. My go-to sub (or if you prefer, feel free to use the term "hoagie") is their Italian sub. This is not only at Wawa, but most sub shops. Wawa makes a good Italian sub. Again, especially when considering that it comes from a gas station. Wawa also has competitively priced gas. This is always a good thing, especially with gas prices being so high. Wawa is definitely a great option when looking for gas and/or something to eat. I would definitely recommend this particular Wawa location or any Wawa location for that matter. I will give it an overall rating of five stars.
