When I returned the car, they tried to hold me responsible for the exact same damage I had shown them earlier. Thankfully, I had a time-stamped video that proved the damage was already there. Without that, I would've been charged for something I didn't do. This experience was extremely frustrating, and it shows the company needs a more reliable and transparent check-in/check-out process--one that protects the customer, not just the branch. Renters shouldn't have to rely on their own evidence to avoid false claims. It felt like the burden of proof was on me instead of on their inspection system. If you rent from here, document everything. It can save you from a headache.

It was suggested to me by the customer service representative from enterprise on the phone that I hold it for a week, with the option to extend. If I needed for less time, then they would only charge for the days I used. Like putting a hold on your credit card at a hotel. Only they charged me for the whole week when I only used it for 3 1/2 days. Apparently, the laws of physics regarding time and space cease to exist in enterprise rent a car, and the week is actually five days. Or it can be. When it suits them. And 3 1/2 days is actually four days, since they don't charge for half a day. Only whole days. and since four is close enough to five for hand grenades, I was charged for the whole week. I was ghosted and ignored from this point on over the phone and had to charge back on my credit card. When I picked this car up, the key was literally put into my hand directly from the previous driver, and we were both charged for that full day. I'm sure whoever picked it up out of my hand when I dropped it off was charged for that full day same as I was. And this is enterprise in general, not specific to this location, but this location is the one that kept hanging up on me and where I picked up the car in the first place and the ones who charged me incorrectly. Never, never, never again! And don't you, either!
