The service was SUBURB! The staff is very knowledgeable about their job performance and the Pinhook locations in Lafayette, La has an EXCELLENT staff. I rented form this location 2 times within a year and both times I was treated so well and they are very friendly. I would def rent from them anytime I need a rental car. read more

I spoke to an employee on the phone at 8:15am this morning to reserve a standard size SUV to be picked up at 12:30. The gentleman on the phone confirmed they had THREE on the lot. My husband gets there to pick the car up for me at 12:15 and NO SUVS of any size...all they have on the lot is a tiny car and a mini-van (which was more expensive than the SUV), so they gave away my reserved car with no communication. Then they wouldn't allow my husband to pay with my credit card (the rental reservation was in my name) because his name isn't on card. I had already confirmed while making the reservation that it was ok to have my husband pick up vehicle and pay with MY card. We cancelled reservation. What a clown show. read more

Their reviews are not always good, but we have used them a couple of times here in Lafayette and they are accommodating and pull through! The need for customer service is apparently not high on their priority list at this location. After our vehicle was hit and placed in the shop for repairs we were told to use this location by our insurance company. When we called they only had trucks available and offered to put us on a waiting list. It has been 90 plus days with NO call backs. When we finally got ahold of someone it was the same conversation as the one before...nothing available....place you on a list etc.. When we asked for a supervisor we were told that one is available to speak with us. I will be calling USAA and letting them know that Enterprise in Lafayette Louisiana is not even close to being able to provide a service that will meet the standards that our insurance promotes for it's clients. read more

I go to pay and use the wrong pin that I have for another card. Honest mistake. wasnt allowed to retry or use another card. My family has been using this place since I can remember so when I was old enough to rent one I began using them too. I have never had a problem with them at all. I always seem to get an upgrade on the cars I reserve. I go in and get out fast. Only once did I have to wait on my reservation because the guy was 3 hours late bring it back and it had to go to detailing because his children left a mess of cookies all over, but they moved it to the front of the line and was done in 12 minutes. They really take care of you. Mine can't recommend this place enough. All I can say is call ahead to know what you need to bring in and you will on your way in no time and always make pickup time with way more than you need. read more

They are the absolute worst ..... You will not make it out of there on time no matter what you do. There is no point in having a reservation .... The only reason I keep renting from them is the others are just as rotten ...... The maintenance light stayed on the vehicle the entire time . The vehicle was dirty as usual.... The staff was rude as usual especially the agent that half way waited on us he told us he was pulling the vehicle around to the front he actually drove up tooted the horn and waived us over across the lot it's toooo much to write..... Just went to drop the vehicle back and the guy at the door was just as rude as the one that waited on us at pickup 'twas 7:20 they open at 7:30 this jerk telling us they closed I told him I'm trying to get to work and I don't have time I reached him the keys and begin walking off the car has almost 1/2 tank gas and no damages other than the cracked windshield he ave it to us with ..... 1800 w Pinhook beware of these folks read more

The new Enterprise scam! Called and reserved an SUV, 2 days later go to pickup the SUV. NO SUV. Finally settled for a minivan. Took my trip and went to return the minivan and the asst. manager tried to charge me $150.00 to detail the minivan because there was dog hair in the minivan. I transported a large long haired black dog. All the dog hair in the van was short white hair. So logic would suggest the dog hair was not from the dog that I transported in an air crate. So I took the minivan to the car wash down the street to have it vacuumed. Was informed that someone had brought a van in to have it clean because it had mud around the wheel wells. And guess what Enterprises tried to charge him $150.00 to wash the van. BEWARE of the scam! read more

Service was horrible. The call center told me its first come first serve but when I came 20 min. before time no vehicle was clean, and they were not able to accommodate. The agents seemed unwilling to try and assist my family to get in a car on time. This location is one of the worst rent car places I've been to in the southern region. The manager Kalen or Jalen....had the worst attitude over the phone. I would give this location a worst rating but yelp wont allow ; Here's a tip try booking at the airport or choose a different company all together. read more

I made a reservation weeks in advance. I received a call to confirm my reservation days before. Showed up when they opened at 7:30am, picked up full size car, headed to my destination 30 minutes away. On the way, the car was making a horribly loud sound near the front tire. I attempted to get on the highway and the noise got louder. It didn't seem safe. Called Enterprise and made them aware. I was advised I could switch it out. I told them I would have to go back on my lunch break. Called before I headed back. Drove back there on my 1 hr 15 minute break, was advised there was no car for me in that class. I heard the manage tell an associate to put me in a Journey b/c that was the only class up. We walked outside and he advised me that my only options were 2 midsize cars. Then, the manager tells me that the midsize is the same size as the full size and if I didn't want the midsize, I could take the car with the tire problem to a tire shop and have it looked at...how insulting! Do I work for Enterprise? A day later, I'm struggling to fit 5 adults into a midsize Elantra, they still have no car for me. The quality of service at Enterprise is quickly declining. read more

Although I was rudely overlooked by a male employee while waiting in line- I mean, literally overlooked and skipped in favor of the young woman behind me- I have to say that my experience was positive. The employee Angelle rectified things when I dropped the car off. She was very polite and detailed and demonstrated excellent customer service. Very Bad Experience! When we leased a vehicle at this location, the employee whose name is "Que", first noted a scratch at the rear passenger side and wrote down the vehicle condition when we walked around the vehicle. He told me it was already noted/described in the vehicle condition. We then checked the rest, initialed the contract and returned it 20 days after. This time received by Hannah Grimsley, assistant manager, who made me aware of the scratch that was noted by Que. I told her the employee by the name of "Que" had written it in the contract and it was there before we received the vehicle. well to my surprise she argued that it wasn't written there, so because I initialed it I had to pay for it. She charged my credit card $450. Lesson of the day, don't trust anybody there! Make sure you take pictures of condition of vehicle before leaving, they will argue for any little thing that was "not" noted and you will pay! very bad experience..never again!! read more

Did not get the car I reserved. They were nice about the upgrade, but I ended up in a four door truck that I really did not want. Then I could not return on a Sunday. So, I had to pay $40 for the inconvenience of returning it to the airport. With a cab fare to get back to where I needed to be. I picked the location because of the convenience. Which turned out not to be convenient. I would have just gone to the airport rental counter if I had known. I did say I only wanted a one day rental. The counter was quick and pleasant. Just not the rental or experience I expected. read more

So my girlfriend reserved a car online and the pick up time was 1 p.m. We arrived at 12:30 p.m. There was a guy and a girl working at the desk. They were blasting music and we sat in there for like 15 minutes before they even acknowledged that we were there. So finally we got acknowledged and the guy working there was really young and had no customer experience what so ever. He was constantly complaining and griping about a previous customer who was there before us instead of focusing on us. So if we fast forward a bit, we finally got everything situated and now we're told they're "DETAILING" the car it won't take long. Mind you it's 1:05 p.m. at this particular moment. Time goes by and 1:30 p.m. and they finally pull the car up front. We do the inspection on the outside of the car and the guy is like I have to put gas in the car. So we're like ok that's fine because the gas station was LITERALLY next door. So I tell the guy that we'll meet him at the gas station because I was in my own personal car and the rental was for my girlfriend. We get to the gas station and as I'm getting my girlfriends belongings out of my car to put into the rental the guy tells us "Oh man I'm sorry guys I don't know the PIN number to the gas card I'll be right back!" Then he runs next door to get the PIN number. So as we're waiting I pop the trunk to put my girlfriend belongings in there and there's LITERALLY empty Walmart bags and McDonald's bags with trash in them in the trunk and the car smells like Cigarettes! Like did we seriously wait all those minutes while they were "DETAILING" the car?? This Enterprise is absolutely the worst one in Lafayette and I've been to all of them. Never again will we do business there. Their reps need training and also the "DETAIL" guys need proper training as well. Hope this review helps. read more
