Always record a full video walk-around before leaving with your rental. I pointed out damage on my vehicle to the Enterprise/Alamo employee at pickup, but they didn't mark it down in their system. When I returned the car, they tried to hold me responsible for the exact same damage I had shown them earlier. Thankfully, I had a time-stamped video that proved the damage was already there. Without that, I would've been charged for something I didn't do. This experience was extremely frustrating, and it shows the company needs a more reliable and transparent check-in/check-out process--one that protects the customer, not just the branch. Renters shouldn't have to rely on their own evidence to avoid false claims. It felt like the burden of proof was on me instead of on their inspection system. If you rent from here, document everything. It can save you from a headache. read more

After 2 days, I am finally getting a car. I'm in Youngsville, La. I get here and he's at lunch. So, I have to wait 20 minutes in the sun for him to get back. He's back from lunch and he checked me in, but now I can't get the car until he checks everyone in. I'm waiting again. I've been here 50 minutes. I'm glad I got here when I did because the guy at the counter had a reservation and they have no cars to put him in. I'm still waiting, only one person left to check in and hopefully I can leave this god forsaken place. I won't post until I get in the car. I'm in the car. Yay. The service wasn't so bad here. PLEASE DON'T THINK THAT IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION THAT THEY WILL HAVE A CAR FOR YOU. Don't depend on that like I did. I will buy another car before I have to deal with enterprise again. Even with a reservation, the enterprise counter cannot process rentals. One explanation is "the one teller is processing a claim", another explanation is they are getting a new system. Hertz and Dollar have no cars available. Everyone else must stand in the National or Alamo line that is 10 deep. Annoyed!! Not usually this bad, but I am exhausted. read more

Worst Rental Experience Ever. I will be using other rental companies from this point on. On return of the rental, the enterprise employee found a ding on the door that wasn't present when I rented the vehicle. A claim was filed. They took $500 for my deductible. They said the DRU would contact me. They did, 1 month later, with an invoice for $2800 for a list of damage that I was not responsible for and was present prior to me renting the vehicle. Lucky for me, I took a video during the initial inspection of the vehicle, before the vehicle was turned over to me, that showed all of the damage they are trying to blame on me. I sent multiple emails and left voicemails for the DRU. Never received a call back. My insurance contacted me because the DRU contacted them with the claim. I sent them the video evidence. I even contacted my local enterprise where I rented from and they emailed the DRU to call me, but they still have not. The only message i received from the DRU after the initial invoice stated that they investigated the dispute and still found me responsibke for all of the damage. They never even asked my for my video evidence. Extorting money from customers is not how you get return customers. Not only am I no longer going to rent from enterprise, but neither will my company. read more

I've been renting with enterprise for years and previous transactions at all other locations have went well. The last time I rented at this location my fiance ended up going through labor. In the madness of delivering a baby I let the rental go 1 day past due before I tried extending the rental online which wouldn't allow me to so I called the main customer service line but couldnt extend their either so they directed me to call this location to extend. I tried calling the location numerous times but no one ever answers the phone. I start getting emails to return the car as if the car was stolen. The day after my fiance gets out of the hospital I return the car pay the full fees that I owed and show proof we were in the hospital delivering a baby. We were made to believe everything was all squared away and we would still be able to continue using enterprise. I set up another reservation a month in advance and a few days before I was set to pick it up which is very short notice, I receive a call telling me I'm on the don't rent to list and to be removed from the list I need to contact this location the problem is this location never answers the phone which is how the whole problem began. Hands down the most unreliable inept customer service I've ever dealt with. read more

Reserved a car at 3 for 3:30 pickup. Arrived at 3:40. I was the only person at the counter. It is now after 4pm, still waiting in the lobby. I was told there is no car ready for me, I have to wait until a car gets cleaned. Whattt?? I have to drive to another city and be there by 6, as the business I'm going to is closed until Tuesday. Waited over an hour to get a car that was reserved months ago. That's not how to show you value a customers time.

We have been waiting over an hour so far for a reserved vehicle.. This is the second time that this has happened while renting from Enterprise. It seems like they don't have enough vehicles in the lot to support their reservations so they are waiting for rental returns to clean and turn over to new customers. read more

We arrived to pick up our rental several hours before our scheduled time. The attendant went above and beyond to try and find us a vehicle so we would not have to wait. Another big plus is that Enterprise automatically includes your spouse as a driver for no fee. In addition, the spouse need not be present to give license info. This has been a major hassle for us from other rental companies, because my spouse always has to make accomodations to pick up the rental with me so he can also drive, and is always charged an additional fee. Enterprise will be my go to car rental company from now on. read more

Device at the desk was great. I actually checked in with the National staff and they were most accommodating. It is a hike to the pick up area but the outside staff was also amazing. At return the staff was equally competent. I will use them again. read more

Very fast pickup and drop off. I was surprised to see their rental prices for a week. The weekly rate was incredible and suited my road trip perfect. The staff was wonderful and very quick. The lot is pretty far but that's not enterprise's issue. The van we got for a 7-day road trip was perfect. It had bells and whistles I wasn't aware of when booking. It was the 4th of July weekend when I was to return the car and this location was the only location open on Sunday, July 3. That made everything with my business / vacation trip go very smooth. You wrote a review for Enterprise Rent-A-Car 2 minutes ago 1.0 star rating 5/12/2017 I had a reservation Sat 5/6 to rent a car locally for 6 hrs. Needed an SUV to accommodate a car seat for our granddaughter. Very slow service at the counter to start with. Then I learn that there's a $250 deposit for a $44 rental, well ok we have a function to attend. I provide my license and insurance and now informed that I cannot rent the car with a debit card because I do not have a return flight. I offered cash, they do not take cash! (I've rented with Enterprise throughout the US and Canada never had a problem). I find out that it is this location's policy, the problem is that it's not noted anywhere. I drove from Baton Rouge to get this car to be turned down. BS BS BS I called the Enterprise Customer service hotline, they informed me that it's the location's policy. Sorry.. I asked for compensation, they said that they would have to submit a form to the location and have the Manager call me. I asked that he give me a call ASAP, she allegedly put in the request. Well it's 6 days later and I have not received a call. So much for customer service at this location. So in the future, book multiple cars with all of the agencies to ensure you get one that comes through for you. AND if you do not have a return flight, it would be most interesting if someone went on an airline reservation website and printed an itinerary from to LFT and gave this cracker jack team something bogus to get over on them.
