After contacting two (2) other paintless dent removal companies without a return call, I contacted Rich at Auto Recon Express. He came out the next day and fixed a dent in our GMC. It was a dent that two (2) body shops (highly rated body shops) indicated could not be repaired using paintless dent removal. WRONG! I had been told by two other dent repair operations that it was impossible to fix the that particular kind of dent on my Ram truck rear door. So I wound up going to the body shop I use. Rich is the bomb, hands down. Here is my story... My 2 month old 2015 BMW 428i got a quarter sized dent on the hood and I have no idea how it got there. I was devastated since I am really anal with my cars. After a month of shock and storing it in the garage due to embarrassment, I decided to try the paintless dent repair route. I went to Yelp and sifted through shops near where I live. I narrowed it down to 3 that looked good. I decided on Auto Recon for one simple reason...Rich has over 25 years of doing this! So I called him and scheduled a repair at my home. He was late working on a project in the morning so texted me to see if we could move the time out a little and I said that was fine...10 pts for keeping me posted. Rich showed up on time at the newly agreed time...10 more points for being on time. Polished guy, I could tell from his car, appearance and equipment he was a perfectionist and pro...still I had my doubts that a dent on a crease on the hood could be taken out completely.....I still cringe at the thought of that dent....So he said it would take 45 minutes...I cringed with the fact that my baby would be worked on and the repair would be just ok and I would be upset with the dent for the next 10 years or so. 45 minutes later...10 more points for being accurate.... he was done and I was shocked to see the results....perfect...yes PERFECT. Just had both my drivers and passenger front fenders fixed on my WRX and can't believe how great it turned out! Mike did an amazing job, very professional and down to earth. After getting a quote from another body shop that wanted to replace the fender, and finding out how much my insurance would go up next year, I decided to seek out an alternative and glad I emailed Rich before going thru insurance! The passenger side dent was deemed unfixable from another shop, but that didn't hear that at all from Rich. He was upfront that the damage was pretty deep and it wouldn't be 100% back to OEM, and I was ok with that, but the finished product looks amazing and couldn't have asked for better results! The owner came out to my home and removed a 3" diameter dent that was right in the middle of a body line on my Ford Expedition. He then buffed out the scratches that were made upon impact. I cannot even tell there was ever a dent there! My local Ford dealership said they could not remove a dent on a body line using the paintless dent removal method. This really works! I had a good size dent on the front fender. I am very detailed, and some what pickey. I like my cars clean, with no dents. This dent happened on a Friday. I googled dent removal, and found a few places. I not only wanted the best quality. I also wanted the best price. I text a picture to the number at Auto Recon Express, and asked several questions. I received a quick response that answered all my questions. This was on a Monday 3 days after I got the dent. I took the next opening. The guy showed up on schedule, and looked at the dent and said he could fix it no problem. I went inside my home and let him work on the car. I heard a few hammer like sounds and I thought wow I'm gonna have to paint that side of the car. I peaked through the window to see what is going on. The tech then told me he was done. I looked and the dent was gone, and no scratches. Like new :)) I told the tech I heard hammering how do you do that and have no scratches? he explained how and why he does that hammering.
