The shop told us that the alternator and fan belt needed to be replaced. They also said the battery was still at 65% and was fine (just needed charging or not replaced). We agreed to replace only the alternator and fan belt for now, and they charged us $1,400. Today we picked up the car -- and the warning lights were STILL on. We immediately drove it back and asked them to check it again. This time, they told us another part needed to be replaced and it would cost another $1,400. We decided not to move forward with more repairs at this time. Then they told us the battery was dead and had to jump-start the car for us to drive away -- even though yesterday they said the battery was fine. This whole experience feels dishonest and unprofessional. We paid $1,400 and the original problem was not even fixed. Now they are asking for another $1,400 and suddenly the battery is "dead." This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this repair shop.

Who was very nice, but handed me a tiny printout (picture attached) from a Midtronic machine with some readings and told me that my car battery was failing and needed to be changed immediately, stating that I run the risk of it not turning on one of these days if I didn't change it. Tried to charge me well over $300 for a new battery for my 2020 Kia Sportage. Since this battery is about a year old I decided to get a second opinion. Got home and called Triple A who checked my battery and stated it was completely fine (diagnostic screen picture attached). Decided to get a third opinion at Advanced Auto Parts and was again told, after extensive checking, that my battery is completely fine. I called Jiffy lube back and spoke to manager Jennifer who gave me a whole bunch of random excuses, with no explanation, and wanted me to come back to recheck my battery again??!!
