Traveling to the area on 5/14/2018 for a week of business meetings from the St Louis area. A flat tire alert is the worst thing. Pulled off the highway and there was Auto Plus. I come from a mechanic family and was hoping they also operated like a family. How awesome they turned out to be took customer service to a whole new level. Mike and Dustin went beyond the responsibility of merely replacing my tire and getting me back on the road. They actually cared enough to make sure that I got to my meeting on time and that my car was road ready for the drive back to St Louis. Their pricing was right in line where it should be as well. There were no surprises other than how accommodating these gentlemen were. I was so impressed that a colleague at my meeting also needed a flat tire replaced and I strongly recommended Auto Plus. I came to this shop based on all the positive reviews on yelp...they were all true. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I came in because my car was having issues starting. They took me right away and determined it was the battery (which I thought it may be). They also told me about another issue with the car. They explained what it was, how they came about finding this and how it may affect the performance of the car. They were also aware of my time constraints and asked me if I would like to make another appointment so they can fully investigate. They did not pressure me to make the appointment. They simply explained what may happen if this was not looked at in the near future. It's good to know that I can take my car to people that I can trust. I'm so glad my friend told me about CK Auto Plus! I went in for an oil change and they found the oil pan leaking and rusty, time for a new one. Also, they recommended new tires before winter as the treads were low (I remembered sliding some last time it rained). They found a great deal on tires--personalized to my driving miles--they applied a discount to the parts and labor for the oil pan, and found a way for me to pay for it all on credit with no interest for 6 months! They also gave me a ride home while they worked on the car and picked me up again when it was ready. I went to Auto Plus-Lombard with an expectation of excellent customer service based on some Yelp reviews. I can confirm that customers are important at this place. While waiting for my oil change to complete, I was told that the oil filter for my Corolla was out of stock so I had to wait a few more minutes. I made a comment that I was looking for dent-less removal place and the guy at the front desk asked what I needed to get done. I mentioned that I had an indentation on my bumper that I needed to get smoothed out. He talked to a couple of guys in the shop and they took care of it. Be aware! I went here to get my oil change (it was a groupon deal). They changed my oil and then they said I needed a bunch of repairs. The prices seemed very high so I decided to shop around for the repairs. I left their shop and immediately noticed my car was not running well. I took it to a different shop and they told me an oxygen sensor was unplugged! I asked them if it could be bumped off accidentally and they said it was unplugged on purpose. I am very shocked that they would try to scam people, by unplugging sensors! I could have been stranded or really screwed up my car! If you do decide to come here make sure you inspect the receipt and your vehicle! read more

Raphael and Dustin are the primary customer-facing employees at this auto shop. Both are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I recently had my brakes serviced and not only did they provide a loaner car, they clearly communicated what would be done and the costs involved, and ultimately their mechanics did a great job on the work. I trust them so much that I travel a sizable distance from Elgin to Lombard just to get my car serviced. I have been a customer of theirs for many years. Auto Plus in Lombard is a good value and I will continue to go to them for all my auto repairs and maintenance. This is a top notch auto repair shop. read more

My car needed work to get pass the emissions testing. After doing their diagnostics it was determined that my 2007 Dodge Caliber needed a replacement power control module (TIPM). I knew replacing that part could be troublesome but nonetheless these guys took care of it. Although it took a little longer than expected they did give me a loaner vehicle to use while my car was being repaired. Rafael gave me updates each day as to keep me in the loop at what was going on. The price was also lower than originally projected. Also they fixed my bumper and wiring issues... I have been going to Auto Plus in Lombard (oil changes and routine maintenance) for a few years now. On my most recent visit they noticed an oil leak from underneath and informed me that it was still covered under my new car waranty of 3 yrs/ 36000. My car had 35,000 miles, so I brought it in to VW the next day and they saw the same thing, fixed it free of charge. Auto Plus and their staff, saved me hundreds of dollars by pointing this out. I will definately be bringing my cars back to Auto Plus in the future. They are honest, and do a very complete job of inspecting your vehicle. read more

Eric and Raphael were great. It was a bad Monday, and my BMW decided to overheat on the way into the office. Thankfully, Auto Plus just happened to be the first building off the the expressway exit. I was impressed, and I met some very nice guys. They had the skills and abilities to diagnose the problem. I appreciate the conversation they have with me. They describe the work and point out options with the cost. The explanation of the cost benefit analysis of each option is helpful. I don't feel pressured to choose the most expensive option. In fact, usually they point out that the this may not be the best timing for the most expensive option and to wait.i tend to be conservative. I got a flat tire on the highway and managed to make it to the nearest parking lot which was Auto Plus. I walked in and they immediately helped me out. They first said they'd take a look at it and see if they could repair the old tire - unfortunately the screw/bolt was way too long. They called to get a tire over and changed all within 20-30 minutes. Their service and care during my crazy Monday morning commute was very appreciated (and needed). Hi everyone, the oil change and tire rotation were fine, but after the oil change, the engine light came on. When I went back, the manager said it was already on before the oil change.... However, the mechanic's diagnostic and inspection report made no mention of this at all. Besides, the mechanic connected a diagnostic scanner under the dashboard and simply turned off the warning light. The light is still off for 2 days, but has anyone else had this kind of experience? read more

Stopped in on a whim for an oil change and the staff there was very friendly and welcoming. They ran a diagnostic test and warned me of a few things that needed to be done at some point, but weren't pushy about getting them done today. The price for an oil change was cheap and included an oil filter change too. They also offered to drive me to work in the morning if I needed it while the car was in the shop. I just had a bunch of work done to my 1969 Camaro. New front suspension, steering gear box, tires, rear differential service and a few other items. The guys there are always honest and keep in contact if they find any other problems that should be addressed. Plus, they stand by their work. On my last repair, they worked with the parts store on a defective part that broke down on me within warranty to make the repair process smoother and more cost effective for me. I have used CK Auto Plus a few times and have been very pleased with they're service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They really know what they are doing.
