I took my wife's car there to have the air conditioning fixed. First they increased the price after the work had already started. Then after she goes to get the car she notices the windshield is cracked. Ray in the office told her to have me contact them to make it right. I took the car to have a quote done on having the windshield replaced.When I get into contact with him Ray says that it was broken when they got it. He knows he is a liar. I was driving from Oklahoma to fla and my car started giving me weird error lights and green fluid was leaking. I stopped in Tupelo for the night and looked for a mechanic. The Toyota dealership in town had horrible reviews. These guys had great reviews on another site and they were friendly when I called. I stopped in, the manager had the same kind of hybrid so he looked over the vehicle. The guy at the front was nicely dressed and very friendly. Another woman told me they had recently been bought out and she liked this new staff. They had free drinks as well. It's off the beaten path and behind a building, but I'm glad I stopped. They topped off my air, checked fluids and other things and wouldn't charge me or accept a tip. Southern hospitality at its finest. read more

I live in Washington State and was midway through an 8000-mile road trip around the country in my Mercedes. While driving from Huntsville, Alabama to Oxford, Mississippi, my dash suddenly signaled that all of the car's sensors were not operating. I pulled into Tupelo, Mississippi hoping to find a Mercedes dealer only to find out that the nearest one was in Memphis, 116 miles away. I found Auto Medic online and saw that they specialized in Mercedes and other high end vehicles. The shop was hidden from the street behind another building. I began to have doubts until I noticed all of the high end cars parked in their lot. I arrived at 4 pm on a Wednesday. From that point, they made every effort to get me back on the road safely. The problem was determined to be a 4' x 6' piece of plastic wrapping material that had somehow wrapped around the left front drive axle so tightly that the sensor wires had snapped and the inner seal had been crushed. The damage required the half-axle to be replaced. Auto Medic's owner, Bobby, drove us to a car rental agency to get a car while his team started to search for a new half-axle. This was during the second year of Covid, and foreign car parts were very difficult to find. A new half-axle was found in Florida, and they had it shipped to another distribution center in Mississippi. Rather than wait for the part to be re-shipped, they drove 120 miles round trip to pick up the part when it arrived at the distribution center. They had us on our way Friday morning, with the damaged parts in tow in case there was some difficulty with our insurance claim. (There was none.) During the entire time I was at Auto Medic, they made sure I had everything I needed. I was invited to watch them work on the car, and they took photos to show the claim adjuster (who was in Connecticut! ) what the situation was. I was most impressed to see the lead mechanic using the opportunity to explain the working of the 4-matic (AWD) system to other mechanics as it is rarely seen in cars sold in the South. Although they went through a lot of extra effort, they stayed with their original estimate. When I returned home, the car was due for its B maintenance check and was found to be in perfect condition. read more

A word to the wise: Before leaving your vehicle for service at Auto Medic Inc Tupelo, Ms. take before and after pics (especially under the hood) and record your conversations with them because they do not stand by their word. Tried to leave my review on their website and how ironic they have to approve it first. No wonder they have all good reviews. Hard lesson learned. read more
