I live in Washington State and was midway through an 8000-mile road trip around the country in my…read moreMercedes. While driving from Huntsville, Alabama to Oxford, Mississippi, my dash suddenly signaled that all of the car's sensors were not operating. I pulled into Tupelo, Mississippi hoping to find a Mercedes dealer only to find out that the nearest one was in Memphis, 116 miles away. I found Auto Medic online and saw that they specialized in Mercedes and other high end vehicles. The shop was hidden from the street behind another building. I began to have doubts until I noticed all of the high end cars parked in their lot. I arrived at 4 pm on a Wednesday. From that point, they made every effort to get me back on the road safely. The problem was determined to be a 4' x 6' piece of plastic wrapping material that had somehow wrapped around the left front drive axle so tightly that the sensor wires had snapped and the inner seal had been crushed. The damage required the half-axle to be replaced. Auto Medic's owner, Bobby, drove us to a car rental agency to get a car while his team started to search for a new half-axle. This was during the second year of Covid, and foreign car parts were very difficult to find. A new half-axle was found in Florida, and they had it shipped to another distribution center in Mississippi. Rather than wait for the part to be re-shipped, they drove 120 miles round trip to pick up the part when it arrived at the distribution center. They had us on our way Friday morning, with the damaged parts in tow in case there was some difficulty with our insurance claim. (There was none.) During the entire time I was at Auto Medic, they made sure I had everything I needed. I was invited to watch them work on the car, and they took photos to show the claim adjuster (who was in Connecticut! ) what the situation was. I was most impressed to see the lead mechanic using the opportunity to explain the working of the 4-matic (AWD) system to other mechanics as it is rarely seen in cars sold in the South. Although they went through a lot of extra effort, they stayed with their original estimate. When I returned home, the car was due for its B maintenance check and was found to be in perfect condition.

Went in for a warranty covered issue and house of Honda told me they would not honor my warranty because they did not want the hassle of dealing with my insurance company. mind you I used this same extended warranty with other Honda dealerships with no issues. Basically they told me they would fix my car and I would have to pay out of pocket and get reimbursement from my insurance company. Not to mention when I initially arrived it took over 5 min before anyone came to check me in. And when the guy did come he did not greet me and stood there with a blank look on his face. I gonna say it was cause I was a person of color. Because as I waited for my vehicle I observed how he they greeted the other customers that looked like them. And the interactions were totally different. They promptly walked over as soon as they pulled in and greeted them with a smile. I will no longer be doing business with them. And Im telling all my friends and family in the area not to spend their hard earned money there!!!

I'll probably still get my brakes done, here, but I did not have a good experience this morning…read more first, i was told I needed front and rear brakes done ( which I knew was not true because they did all 4 just a few years back. I kept my paperwork). secondly, I was charged $100 more than I should've been because I knew they covered the pads and calipers for life. when I told the woman at the register, she called the technician and he apologized and took off the $100 from my bill. my point is this: the tech shouldve known about my previous brake jobs and my loyalty to Mac's. but most importantl, if I had not spoken up, Mac's would've ripped me off for $100 and if I had done all 4 sets of brakes it would've been closer to $250!! and I know this, because the woman at the counter was about to ring up my bill and didn't check my past brake jobs, either... I'm not too happy with Mac's. they are usually quite reliable...

Upon locating one 10 hours away from where we live- I called and spoke with a sales rep about the availability and he said it was. One of their clients had ordered the wrong seating and ordered another. The sales rep was responsive with the price and details of the truck. He texted the price at 10:12 last Friday at $63,720. At 2:46 the price was raised by $5k due to "market demand and nonavailability". (Please see screen shots below) I'm pretty sure the owner is getting a cut from the MSRP and the selling of a "unit" but to add $5k to price within 4 hours because you want more...is unethical. That owner will get theirs. I understand many other dealerships practice this same dirty move to screw people and make an extra buck, but to quote it one way and change it four hours later is unprofessional. Always be wary of your business dealings.
