My wife brought in headlights to be replaced for a fee. The wrong bulbs H-11 Sylvania $60 top of…read morethe line halogen were to replace the HIGH beams. Apparently the HIGH power beams are 9005 Sylvania bulbs. Instead of informing my wife the wrong bulbs were brought in they replaced the WORKING low beam lights. They refused to return the working bulbs we are entitled to according to Michigan law. We had to take it to a dealer who then replaced the high beams with the low budget bulbs. We needed the supers lumen brightest bulbs as she does drive our son to work between 2:30 AM and 4:30 AM depending on his work hours through much no lighted winding country single lane roads. Why didn't this place tell us we had the wrong bulbs? Imagine if we were there for car repairs and needed rear quarter panels but we wrongly received front quarter panels and the replaced the front good panels. We still would have wasted money on unnecessary repairs and still had to have repairs necessary. This is gross incompetence and they refused to give my wife our working bulbs back. This is pathetic, shameful, and negligent while on their part.

Now to some of you its ok to leave your car and go about your business till a shop takes their time to fix things, and thats ok by me too, if I have a ride when my ride is unavailable. But this time I didn't and my wife needed her car. So Monday morning at 7:50am (today 3/14/2016) I called these guys. Having been highly recommend by friends of the family verbally. I got there at 9am, the nice lady at the desk (Kristen) took my keys and listened to my problems. 2.5 hrs and $194 later my suv brandished a brand new muffler and I was all set to head on to work. They also recommended other stuff that could need fixing totally $700, but am ok with that cause one involves brakes. So yup as of now Superior Auto and Truck is the place to go for my needs for my Chrysler Pacifica. And I will gladly refer them to friends family and yelpers!!

Dreading using a repair shop we do not know, I search Yelp for reviews of appropriate repair shops. Superior has five good reviews. I am adding this as we were impressed with the honesty and quick service we got. Knowing that our engine commonly suffers from exhaust manifold failures which are extremely difficult (and expensive) to repair, I was fearing the worse. However, we were quickly placed on a lift and told that it was not the manifold but only loose bolt on the exhaust pipe. In, fixed and on our way in 40 minutes with only a $22 bill. Thanks Superior!!!

Well, I decided that most of it sounded bogus, and took my vehicle to Lonnie's instead. Turns out, almost none of the repairs that Belle Tire said I needed were actually warranted. Lonnie's replaced my strut assemblies and sway link bars in the front within 2 hours of having the car dropped off, for only $625 total. I am so pleased with their service and professionalism. I think I've found my Belleville Area mechanics!

I brought my vehicle in to have an EVAP switch replaced, an oil sensor replaced, and an oil leak…read morerepaired. Unfortunately, within just a few days of getting the vehicle back, the same problems returned. After multiple attempts to have the issues corrected, it appeared that the diagnostic trouble codes had simply been cleared rather than the underlying problems being resolved. I eventually took the vehicle to my regular mechanic, who had recently acquired the equipment necessary to service this type of vehicle. After inspecting it, he found that the oil sensor was still the original sensor rather than a new replacement, the oil leak was coming from the manifold instead of the oil pan (which I had previously discussed with the shop), and the EVAP switch had been installed incorrectly, with loose lines. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I would encourage others to ask detailed questions about the repairs performed and verify the work before leaving. Unfortunately, my experience resulted in additional time, expense, and frustration.
