I had a chip on the top of my lift on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. My Jeep is white and it was defiantan eyesore. Plus I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my vehicle. I called and described my situation and of course they could not give me a quote over the phone as they had not seen it so I brought it in later in the afternoon. As soon i they asked how they could help me the gentlemen who fielded my phone call remembered immediately who I was. I explained the chip and was concerned it was big enough it would have to be filled before painted. He came out to take a look and told me I could either have it touched up with paint or have the complete piece repainted. I suggested a touchup with an estimate that way if I was not happy with the touchup I knew how much it was going to cost to fully repair. He quickly worked up a quote that came out $700 less than what my boyfriend and I originally thought it would be...plus the quote is valid for 6 months! Unheard of. Now here it comes....the touchup. The assistant manager (AJ) at the front counter came in and asked me if the Jeep was mine. When I responded yes he told me he personally would just have it touched up as it was so small and in such a spot no one would ever be able to notice the touchup. The gentleman walked out with a bottle of touchup paint and applied it under a minute...I could barely noticed it seconds later! He then handed over the bottle of touchup paint to me! What...handed it over to me and told me to keep it. Excellent service with honesty and fairness for the customer. How can one go wrong with giving their business to this establishment?

They have a very friendly and helpful staff that went out of the way to make me feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands. After giving me their initial estimate for repairs, I left my car with them with the understanding that there might be some differences between the initial estimate and the final cost. Well after three weeks went by, I decided to call them the day before picking up my car to make sure the car was ready and to see what the final damage was. I was surprised to find that the total cost of the repairs was now over $1700 CAD over the initial estimate of ~$6400 CAD. After calling in and talking to Frank about the additional charges, he spent some time explaining to me the reason for the charges and was kind enough to help me out by bringing down the additional cost down to over $1500 CAD by reducing their service fee. At the end of the day, once I was able to process everything that Frank and I had discussed. I was fine with the additional cost because I probably would have requested the same repairs and parts to have been done but I was left feeling unsettled due to what seemed like a huge overnight increase in total cost. On the day of the pick up, the car was immaculate and they really did an amazing job fixing my car to a like new condition. The mechanics were checked out and the car was detailed and ready to go. Unfortunately, their amazing work was marred by the fact that they didn't contact me once throughout the repair process to give me an update on revisions to the initial estimate or additional charges throughout the process. Even though I was already prepared for a possible price increase of $500-$700, I definitely should have received notices or updates on some of the larger additional charges either via phone or email during the repair process. After voicing my concerns on the day of the pickup, I was told that someone definitely follow up and call me back to address my concerns. As of yet though, I haven't heard anything, which is really unfortunate considering the amazing work that they do.

I had a past experience with another auto body shop a few years back that left me with a very bad taste in my mouth about these auto body shops (if you want the name, I will gladly post it in a reply...I didn't want to infect this specific post with other names). I did some research online and then started cold calling a few to get estimates. When I called Fix Auto Mississauga North , I had asked about their hours of operation and they stated 8-5 daily. I knew I couldn't make it there easily in that time frame. The receptionist passed me to the manager, Joe. He asked about my problem, and asked me to send some photos to determine a preliminary quote. I also insisted on OEM parts only. I took the photos and sent them. He replied soon after with a quote. He even called me up to go through the quote. He was able to get very good prices (I know because I even brought my car to the dealer and they would not budge on their set prices). I also did some online price checking for the parts; still Joe's was better. He did warn me that after tear down, there may be additional costs, but I knew that was a probability more than a possibility. Joe also promised the car within 2 days. I felt comfortable enough to give Joe and Fix Auto Mississauga North a try. I have to say that my experience with Joe and this shop was very pleasant. I emailed Joe with questions a couple of times, and got timely replies. He was able to get me a great deal on a rental car too. Every time I called, I was met with courteousness and respect. On one occasion, Joe tried to contact me because he thought my steel bumper beam should be replaced. He wasn't able to reach me right away, so in order to make sure that he didn't defect on the promise date, he ordered the part anyway so that it would be there if I decided to go ahead with adding the part and waited for my callback. I approved of the additional cost (which again was at reasonable price) and the car was finished as promised on time. Joe made the process very smooth for me and I was happy with the service and the final repairs. I would highly recommend giving Joe a call and see for yourself that you would be in good hands if you entrusted your repairs to his facility.
