I was actually a licensed insurance agent for Property and Casualty in 13 states when I worked for Geico for over two and a half years. For the rest of my life, I will always recommend Geico as a reputable and fair company to work with, despite the fact that I am no longer employed there and don't have insurance with them any longer (they are not especially competitive in Minnesota). The reason that I got on Yelp to write this review, is because of the absolutely abysmal customer service I experienced in the very short period of time that I interacted with a representative of this company. Not only was Nick incredibly rude, he did not call me back to give me my quotes, and then when I was forced to call back in to find out if we would be able to work together, he did absolutely nothing to try and maintain a professional demeanor or display even minor courteousness to me, and then hung up on me. This is why I'm angry. Not because I didn't get a cheap rate. I have worked in customer service and sales my entire life, and I would never under any circumstances speak to any customer the way that this person spoke to me. When I reached out to Igor, the proprietor of this agency, he was extremely panicked that I told him that I had written several reviews online about my experience, and then went so far as to try and write a false response on Facebook, and attempted to have this review on Yelp removed. When he was unable to do so, he responded, but changed several facts of the story to suit his own needs and make the business sound better. I actually have screenshots of my review from Facebook that I was not going to post on here because they show my full name, but since he decided to try and put me on blast as a cowardly hope that I will remove this review, I guess it is safe to post them since my full name is included, regardless. Again comma I do not recommend this company. I would not risk having to deal with either of the people running this business, even if the coverage that they provided was completely free. 1 star.
