Let me preface this by saying I despise buying cars from dealerships. I'm Gen X and have had…read morenothing but bad experiences my entire life, every single time I've needed a new car/truck. Ryan made the sale, by being a polite gentleman and giving us space to research our potential buy. AND he was candid about what he didn't know; not in an ignorance is my defense sort of way, but in a "I don't know this class of truck" way. But Val in finance was the absolute best. He got us a finance package I never expected. He saw our credit score and used that to get us so many extras, even though I was sold before his effort. I live two hours away, but will buy every new-to-me car through these guys for the foreseeable future. Super thankful and super vocal about my recommendation.

Hey PORT ORCHARD FORD how about a response?!?…read more 9/14/24 Update: hubby got a call from a salesman. They were excited to talk to him as he's bought a couple vehicles and hey, can he help out with inventory reduction?!? Well, no, but can you help get our 80k truck out of your service department since it's been there over a month and your third party warrantee is refusing to cover what you signed a contact to cover?? Buying experience? 5/5. Service experience?!? We need a lawyer. References? We have purchased or traded in three vehicles from PO Ford. The purchase for our last vehicle was top notch, until it wasn't, Hubby bought a crew cab Super Duty F250 diesel with ALL the trimmings, including a bumper to bumper and extended drive train warrantee, In two years only 20ish k miles of minimal driving, he only brought it into PO Ford for servicing and routine oil changes. Over a month ago, we were headed home and all of a sudden it made awful clunking noises, seized up, and we used AAA to have it towed to PO Ford. They started to assess it. They claimed the assessor found over $10k needing to be repaired. Third party warrantee says we did aftermarket work that voids the warranty. But we have paperwork showing $30k of aftermarket add ons by the original owner that were existing at time of purchase. We did NO changes. All oil changes and routine maintenance were by PO Ford. A week after submitting that documentation, they are claiming they have to submit further photos to the third party warrantee.... but it should be approved. So we have been without a very expensive vehicle for almost a month with repeated denials for a loaner, all because THEY didn't fully document upgrades on a vehicle they sold. Thank goodness hubby kept all the documentation from the original owner!! Long story short, PO Ford needs to buck up and honor their service warrantees. Edit. It's been over a month now. Supposedly the third party warrantee has now approved the repairs, including a known Ford recall (oil pan drip pan?) so we may have the truck back by the end of TWO MONTHS so it's drivable, and then will have to bring it back in to get further work done because parts won't be available first another extended period. So that means 2 months of not having a vehicle, at over $800/month payments , because PO Ford partners with a third party warrantee program that won't cover what they agreed to pay for for months? And multiple times refused a convenience vehicle? So much for the salmon season, so glad we bought a boat to fish using this fancy truck! What type of attorney do we want for this?

The entire experience was efficient and stress-free unlike so many car purchases. Josh is exceptionally knowledgable and professional. With this knowledge he represents Toyota at the highest level. I have already recommended him to local friends who are Toyota owners for their next car. If you are looking for an honest and genuinely helpful car purchase, go see Joshua Schumacher. The Heartland Toyota dealership is a large, pleasant and impressive experience.

From the moment I walked in the door, I was ignored and had to wait in line for 20 minutes. They did work on my truck and 2 days later my check engine light was back on. The second time, they claimed I had "rodent activity" and my warranty wouldn't cover it. I took my vehicle to a different Toyota dealership, and they stated there was no rodent activity. Heartland Toyota will try to get you to pay for work not performed and work that doesn't need to be performed. They even sent me a video and photo of my "damaged" hoses. I'm convinced they were from another vehicle. I have the text messages, paperwork and photos as proof. I reached out to the Heartland GM and Quality Assurance advisor and neither returned my email. Please steer clear and go to another mechanic!

I previously wrote a 5-star review about the sales dept. The service dept. rates the same 5-star…read morereview. Our son has taken the car he bought through the sales dept. to the service dept for the required/recommended maintenance and told me how friendly they were. He even talked me up to Brent and ME up to Brent. So there was anticipation on both our parts. I was not disappointed and I trust Brent wasn't either. Brent immediately puts you at ease when you're first standing at the counter. I've never experienced such friendliness and confidence at any other auto dealer service desk, and rarely at any auto repair place. David, who sits next to him, is just as friendly. The oil change and vehicle inspection charge was fair and the turnaround time was quick--1 hour. Brent also had entered on my receipt the recommended service for next time and the estimated cost+tax. Oh, they also rotate tires for free on a specified schedule. This saves me from making a separate appointment at Costco where we bought the tires. Another added bonus. In this day of COVID, my son warned me masks aren't worn at the dealership. Well, I wear mine and I'm fully vaxxed and boosted and simply THRIVING with antibodies. So, I'm good. When I got home, I told my son and my wife that Brent and David were so friendly and conversational that it was like I was taking my car to a couple of friends who run an auto repair shop. THESE are the guys we're bringing our vehicle to for servicing from now on. At some future point they'll be servicing the vehicle we bought from the sales dept.

However, due to their mistake, I have to wait 6-8 weeks for $9,500 to fall off of my loan with the lender and refinance to lower my note to what it should have initially been. Additionally, I've emailed TWICE about the brake pad warnings popping up on my car when I haven't had it two weeks and my dealer warranty is still 3 months. No one has been responding, so my next move is to show up to the dealership. I will not be changing my review to add stars unless my brakes are fixed or someone compensates me for having them fixed elsewhere. Shop here at your own discretion, but heed my warning...there are far better places to go, especially if you are a woman. __________________ OP: I had an extremely long review written out, but it has since expired so I will come back to re-write this at a later date. Gist: Rayvin is great! Finance added $3,500 in charges for "accessories" (car didn't even come with a spare tire much less accessories) and United Care Care ($6,000 undisclosed) onto my contract without showing me beforehand. I had my son with me, so I was a little preoccupied, but the finance employee breezed over paperwork without disclosing line items. I got home and read through my paperwork far more thoroughly and noticed these charges. Now I am responsible for $9,500 I did not consent to and feel like they straight up f*cked me over simply because I did not have my husband with me and was distracted with my child. Predatory behavior.
