Originally my girls injury would have been $100. But because I'm a lazy fool I waited until we had below freezing temperatures mixed with the heating defrost which makes glass EXPAND--- causing it to spread. Which like- why do those trucks that carry rocks NOT HAVE LIDS ON THEM!!??!! UR GOING 50mph on the freeway! with rocks inside!!! NO LID!! If your crack is bigger than 6inches (funny) you need ur whole windshield replaced. Point is don't be a bad girl car owner and go here asap. I called the people and immediately share my deepest world problems (crack in windshield) and she GIVES ME A DISCOUNT?!? AND orders the glass so I can get my done THE NEXT day. So I'm like I GOTTA bring this girl a cake pop from starbs, which rest assured I DID. ANYWAYS---- total was $770 for the windshield and 1 hour 22 mins for the wait. Side note: they don't have a bathroom. Out of curiosity I asked where they do their 1s and 2s, they have to drive down the street the gas station!!? Had an appointment for a windshield replacement. Took half a day, unpaid, from work for the install. Was called as I was on my way to my appointment and was informed that the installed had to be rescheduled due to the damage to the new windshield. Stated that during inspection of windshield the damage was found. Any reputable company would have inspected the merchandise when it was received and not have waited until the customer was on their way. My insurance company, who recommended this shop, was appalled and are now paying for the Ford Dealership to replace the windshield in their collision shop. I strongly "DO NOT" recommend this shop. read more

Shortly after getting a new Hyundai Tucson I got a chip in my windshield that soon turned into a crack. I was referred to Auto Glass Now by a local Hyundai dealer. It took a while for the glass to arrive (much longer than the 3-5 day estimate) but it sounds like this was the dealer's fault so I don't put any blame on them for this. Once it did arrive, I got an appointment very quick and on that day it wasn't long for my windshield to be replaced. Had to go back to get glass replaced a second time. Original glass was wavy that they put in. both times they failed to clean any of the glass out of my car and instead made a massive mess in my car. The first time they scratched the crap out of my trunk deck lid and the worker told me he stands by his work and would never do that but I got pictures before I dropped it off. The second time I drop it off, they didn't plug any of my defroster stuff in, didnt put any of the plastic back together and broke multiple clips on my interior C Pillar plastics. I thought that a rock hitting my windshield and causing a crack was bad, but the cost to replace it was worse. After talking with my service manager where I go for car repairs, he told me that I may could get it repaired. The repair cost of national chains was still costly so I called Perfection because they were close to my current location at the time. Not only did they offer better pricing, they also could repair the windshield in the next couple of days. As I headed home, I decided to stop by their office to see about changing my appointment to another day. Instead of another day, they offered to repair the windshield on the spot to save me the time of coming back. I had a companion, and 2 furbabies with me and they were totally cool with us waiting on a repair. Less than 5 minutes later, they showed me what I thought was a small crack in my windshield was just dirt! Awesome! They cleaned the windshield better than I ever can and sent us on our way without charging. Now that is what I can excellent customer service and honest ways of doing business. The sunroof eventually cracked badly and flew out on I-74 on afternoon while she was driving home. Without a sunroof, the van is only usable during days that you know it's not going to rain, this just isn't a good thing long term. The dealership told my wife it would be several months before a replacement could be delivered, so she waited a month or so, basically not driving the van at all and then the dealership told her that they still didn't have a delivery date after she waited over a month. I cannot say enough good things about this company! I had a have my windshield replaced last year and they got me in quick, got the job done fast, and the price was reasonable. Recently, my windshield caught a rock and a nasty chip was the result. There were also two chips on the opposite side of the window (I have really bad luck). I went today to have it fixed. While I was disappointed they couldn't fix the newest chip because it was too large, they were transparent about it. They explained why it couldn't be fixed-that it wouldn't be a successful fix. And that they didn't want to waste my time or money fixing the other chips. Now, I am disappointed I have to replace the whole windshield but it is cheaper this go round.
