On the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, he let us come to his house and we were ready-to-roll in about 15 minutes ... and with a windshield where I could not even identify where the crack was previously! On another note, we had had a much smaller one previously repaired a few weeks ago, by a "big name" company. And although they were extremely nice and did a good job, I can still see where that one was located - and as I said, it was a MUCH less destructive crack than the one Keith literally erased from our windshield. I Googled which of Tuscaloosa city auto glass repair shops had the best customer reviews. Based on the small sample of 5 stars, I chose Glass Doctor of Tuscaloosa. My car (Nissan) has a small windshield rock chip that is a little smaller than a dime. The manager of this shop told me that it was an easy fix and it was good idea I wanted it repaired before it spreads and becomes a bigger problem. I agreed with this. It was all about 15 minutes when the manager came and told me the work was done. He charged me when my car was still in the garage bay being "worked on." Charged me $80.00. When it was pulled out, I went to see was done to it. NOTHING. It was the exact same way I brought it in. Same way. The bobble head manager insisted they did all they could to repair it. They have their customers sign a waiver disclaimer of no guaranty, while your car is being "worked on." I would assign a no star review if I could. I'm writing this review, warning everyone to choose another shop.

My first issue with this business is that they are EXTREMELY difficult to get ahold of. It took…read moremany calls over a span of days just to speak to a real person. And that was after leaving multiple messages without receiving a call back. Once I had made my appointment, a conflict in my schedule came up and I needed to move the appointment to the following week. Once again, I could not reach them by phone so I had to drive half an hour to go speak to someone in person and rescheduled the appointment to the following Friday. When I arrived for my appointment which was 30 minutes after the time the shop is supposed to be open, I pulled into the empty parking lot and saw no one there and all of their bay doors were closed. The main entrance was locked and I even knocked on the off chance that someone was there. I waited for another 15 minutes before leaving and taking my business elsewhere. It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable as a business to 1. Not answer the phone or return calls. 2. Ghost your customer at a scheduled appointment date/time. While I can't speak to the quality of their work/product, I can wholeheartedly say that I would not recommend this company as the customer service side of the business is nonexistent.
