They do that here and said they would check them for free and let me know what everything would cost before I made the decision to change them. They did all of this on the spot- I didn't have to make an appointment or wait to get my break pads looked at. For a 2014 Jeep Patriot, it was $140 to get oil changed, new air filter, and new brake pads and rotor on the front tires. I mentioned that I was thinking about trading my car in and the mechanic offered some advice about how to get the highest trade in value and gave me recommendations for a vehicle that would be reliable and good for biology field work (I'm a biology grad student).
