On the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, he let us come to his house and we were ready-to-roll in about 15 minutes ... and with a windshield where I could not even identify where the crack was previously! On another note, we had had a much smaller one previously repaired a few weeks ago, by a "big name" company. When I arrived for my appointment which was 30 minutes after the time the shop is supposed to be open, I pulled into the empty parking lot and saw no one there and all of their bay doors were closed. The main entrance was locked and I even knocked on the off chance that someone was there. I waited for another 15 minutes before leaving and taking my business elsewhere. It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable as a business to 1. Not answer the phone or return calls. 2. Ghost your customer at a scheduled appointment date/time. Without hesitation, "Bring it here. We'll check it out and put in a new battery if that's what it needs". She arrived at 4:55 pm on a Friday afternoon and they worked with the car until almost 5:45 pm., testing it first to ensure it was a battery issue only, then installing and testing the new battery. There were unexpected issues that arose during the reassembly phase of my initial service that were…read morethought to have been mitigated by replacement of a relay, but after taking the vehicle home I had a variety of strange error messages and difficulty with the car including such issues as unexpected enabling of the traction control system, messages to check engine that mysteriously cleared on their own, another service message that said to see the manual and required use of "limp home mode" which also mysteriously cleared afterward. I was unable to unlock the car except for using the key manually, and so forth. Upon returning to the shop, the technicians did a thorough review of the error messages and - due to a recurrence of battery related messages sprinkled throughout all the other error messages saved by the system - hypothesized that the issue was actually cascading from a failing battery. Although this was a coincidental occurrence in terms of timing, I was offered a really good quote on the cost of the battery and no labor costs for changing the battery. Since that time everything has operated perfectly. I am so extremely satisfied with the extra mile service provided by Sherrill Paint & Body and I would recommend them to anyone in need of paint & body work as they are hardworking, generous, and open about their repair process. Not to mention, the body work I initially went in for was completely flawlessly and the car was returned to me in such wonderful clean condition inside and out. I could not be happier with my experience.
