Well that's where we found out that heater went out and the transmission had multiple codes! MULTIPLE CODES! They(Drive Time)had been swiped it clean in the past! Long story short, we took it back to Drive Time. I then went to a reputable dealership and bought different vehicle. While in the process I was alerted that Drive Time had blocked me from being able to use anyone else for financing a vehicle. Basically, I would only be able to use Bridgecrest to finance a vehicle. Well fortunately I received some help and also was able to bypass due to having a great credit score! Needless to say, I would never recommend dealing with Drive Time! The deception of swiping the codes clean is despicable! The worst thing is you sit there and visit with these salesmen and they lie to your face about the quality of vehicles they're selling!

Worst experience I have ever faced with a dealership and likely the worst 2nd hand vehicle I have ever experienced. They are not willing to add help anywhere and just say this or that is out of their control. Edwin, Zane and Mike said the cars go through a deep inspection and I'm likely needing a new transmission right out the gate on a car I just purchased last Thursday...

A few days later, we discovered that the car needed a new battery - called them, and they replaced it. They have a good variety of vehicles under $8000, so he didn't have to settle for a loss-leader. Keep in mind, these vehicles have high mileage, but the people want you to have a safe, reliable vehicle. They will help you if there are problems after the sale.

My husband and I found a car we really liked at this dealership. A used Mercedes-Benz CLS550 they listed for $12,900. The car was stunning. Almost too stunning. We decided to purchase it and offered Ricky the full asking price. We needed extra cash to pay for taxes etc., So we asked him to hold the car and we would get the rest of the money to complete the deal the next day. We were so excited about this car that we could not sleep. We got the cash, drove to Lone Star Auto. The attitude changed. It's as if they realized the underpriced the car. Ricky said in a non-caring way, we can't sell you the car because we have no title. This is a LIE, because we spoke to other car dealerships and told them what happened. Why didn't Ricky mention that to us the day before we offered to buy the car for FULL ASKING PRICE? Typical shady car dealership. We wasted our time and emotions on them. Do not trust these people. PS. We ended up at the great dealership Car Land in Garland. We bought another Mercedes Benz full asking price. However, their customer service, honesty, and professionalism are worth a five star!

Outstanding Experience - Truly Felt Like Family…read more We came into Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville today to surprise my wife, Grace, with a new car for her birthday--and the experience exceeded every expectation. We picked out a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum in Storm Gray, and from the moment we arrived, our salesperson Gabriela Garcia set the tone. She was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming--the perfect balance you hope for in a sales consultant. She took the time to really qualify us, understand our family's needs, and make sure we were choosing the right vehicle, not just a vehicle. The exact Grand Highlander with the trim package we wanted wasn't on the lot, but that didn't slow things down at all. Gabriela immediately worked to locate the exact vehicle we wanted at another location and personally coordinated getting it brought in so we could take care of everything today. That kind of effort speaks volumes. While waiting, we met Dave, the sales manager, who made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. No pressure, no games--just clear communication and genuine hospitality. Then came financing with Jonathan Ortiz, and I can honestly say this was the smoothest financing experience I've had in 25 years of buying cars. Jonathan walked us through everything clearly, efficiently, and with zero stress. What really surprised me was that while wrapping up the Grand Highlander purchase, I spotted a 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter that absolutely spoke to me. On a bit of a whim, I asked Jonathan if it would be possible to trade in my Civic and purchase the 4Runner as well--and before we knew it, we were driving home with two new vehicles. At no point did anyone feel pushy. We felt taken care of, respected, and honestly treated like family throughout the entire experience. I couldn't recommend Lone Star Toyota of Lewisville more highly. If you're local and looking for a dealership that values people over pressure, this is the place to go.

This is why I detest going to Lone Star Toyota in Lewisville for service…read more I had a recall on my 2012 Tacoma -- all they needed to do was place a sticker on the center post with the correct tire pressure. I made an appointment, arrived a little early, and they took my truck in right away. I planned to wait. How long could something that simple take? An hour and a half later, I went to check on it. It was finished, but no one had bothered to notify me. When I asked why it had taken so long to apply one small sticker, I was told, "We had to do an inspection." I took my keys and left -- never to return.
