If you enjoy making 16 calls over 4 months with zero callbacks, being left on hold for 20+ minutes, and no one telling you your rep left the company, this is the shop for you. After my truck's tailgate was stolen, ACg accepted the repair but completely failed at communication. The front desk repeatedly promised updates and callbacks that never happened. Months later, I finally reached a new rep who admitted they were never informed of my calls, further compounding the delays. The entire process took 4 months of constant frustration. On the final week, I brought the truck in Monday to finalize the payment and noticed Mercury still owed a balance. I asked if this would cause delays, and they assured me the tailgate would be done by Wednesday. Instead, I was met with the following "explanations": "the dealership sent stripped bolts," "the locksmith was late," "phones were down" and finally, on Friday at 3 PM, "we need proof from insurance they sent payment, or we can't release the vehicle." Despite this issue being known since Monday, I had to play phone tag between the shop and the insurance company. Ultimately, I had to obtain proof of payment myself and send it directly because the shop seemed incapable of checking their emails or communicating with their team. I didn't get my truck back until 4:45 PM on Friday. On top of that, my family missed camping trips, and we didn't get our Christmas tree until right before the holiday because the shop took an additional week to install the tailgate after months of delays. No doubt, 5 star service at ACG!!! Took my Model 3 in for repairs after being in an accident, and Joaquin, Leo, and Jorge provided exceptional service! Each week, Joaquin called me with an update regarding my vehicle and answered any questions I had. Repairs took longer than I expected so I had to extend my rental car through Hertz. However, Leo and Jorge, who is the owner, took really good care of me, considering money was tight since it was during the Christmas holiday. My car was finished on the day as promised and Joaquin brought my car to my home and even took the rental back for me. Talk about taking care of their customers. I would not recommend going here for auto repairs. The work was fine, but the customer service was terrible. I was quoted that my repair would take 2-3 weeks, so I planned it while on vacation. When I returned, the repairs had not even been started. I had to rent a car for a month and had to pay out of pocket for most of it. When the car was done, I was lied to about it being ready and then it was going to be delivered to my house. Never happened. When I spoke to the manager, he told me that he would reimburse my deductible, to which I agreed. Then he never took my calls and was never available when I tried to get the check. Totally dishonest and deceitful. I contacted the main company and never heard back from them. I had a horrible experience. read more

Not only did they take apart my car on areas where they shouldn't have but I received my car with have an interior and features that no longer work. Leo the manager was the worst part of it either he was giving me the run around or just plain hiding. After explaining to him that there's missing parts on my car and broken parts he pretty much didn't care and told me to file with my insurance. Took my Tesla here cause after read end accident because they're one of few places to work on Tesla. Car ended up getting totaled but ACG Charged these fees for a simple tear down and storage. The breakdown of charges are as follows: Teardown: $2,666.00 Daily Storage: $200 x 30 days of storage = Total $6,000.00 Lien fee: $225.00 Wrap fee: $195.00 Admin fee: $450.00 Sales tax charged on individual services: $55.13 Total charges: $9,591.13 Mercury insurance only covered $3,500 as California law seems reasonable charges. Leaving me with $6,000 deducted from my settlement due to ACG excessive charges. I am currently having to go through legal process with them now, next time will only go with a place my insurance knows is on the up and up instead of picking myself. Also had $1,000 worth of stereo equipment (Rockford foagate p3 sub, low pass filter, hifonic zeus amp) go missing after I left my car here . Could have been other storage unit it went to after who took it, but after seeing how they operate here wouldn't be surprised if they took it. read more

Please do not take your vehicle here for a repair. I took my car in for a very routine rear end Tesla collision repair. The office was not very communicative about the repairs. The collision was finally repaired but the body shop caused a gigantic crack in the FRONT windshield which was completely on the opposite side of the collision. The body shop blamed this on 'pits' that were present in the windshield. Thomas and the staff did a full inspection and walk-through of the vehicle prior to repairs and never mentioned this or that this could ever be an issue. They did not report any problems or issues during their pre-repair inspection. This was negligent on behalf of the body shop. After several weeks of lack of communication on their end, my car was ready for pick up. Upon picking the car up, the car battery was completely fried and required a replacement. They told me to keep driving it and that it would recharge. This was false - the battery had to be replaced by Tesla. Afterwards, the body shop said that they would repair the damages and cover the cost. I did not hear anything from them for several weeks. Now, I am taking my car to Tesla to have the windshield repaired and they are refusing to cover the costs. In addition, my Tesla does not run the same, makes a howling sound and veers to the right during driving. The body shop completelt denies this and says they are not responsible. The operations manager Oz Nieves was very disrespectful and dishonest. 'We did not cause this. This was your fault. I'm not paying for this' were his exact words. He was very short with me and made it seem like this whole disaster was my fault. The body shop offered to replace the windshield as a 'courtesy to me' but as you can imagine, no one would take their car back to this establishment after all the damage they had secondarily caused. Imagine being a customer who takes his car in for repair and picks it up with an added broken windshield and a fried battery that both need replacement - and being stuck with the bill. In no way was the car safe to drive with this broken windshield. All in addition to frame damage that has caused the vehicle not to drive the way it did before. How would you feel? Thomas and Oz Nieves did not understand my situation as a custumer and are refusing to cover the cost of damages that they have caused. This is completely unacceptable. I encourage you to take your car to another body shop and stay away from this establishment. There are many other reputable and competent collision centers in the area. I do not trust them and neither should you. They have no idea and frankly do not care about how their negligence and incompetence affects their customers lives. Personally had a difficult time with ACG. The office manager and other manager were both very kind and understanding, but it still doesn't change the experience I had. 1. not sure what took so long for the car to be painted. It took 10 days to get my car back and all they had to do was paint the front bumper for a small, minor scratch. I also had to constantly call in for updates. 2. My personal belongings were touched and went missing. I had half a pack of gum left before I dropped off the vehicle, and when I came back to pick it up, the gum was all gone. I'm glad that this time, it was gum, but I don't want to ever risk getting my valuables stolen here. 3. When I got the car back, it was relatively clean, but the cleaning inside and even outside was not thorough. There were still some stains on the right side mirror and in the inside, the flap where the mirror is, there were dirt stains. And there were random stains all throughout the interior part of the car. The seats, the middle console, the wooden part near the AC. Overall, my experience at ACG was not so great and quite disappointing. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay and the other insurance party was responsible for the damages because I would have been way more upset having to pay for low quality work. To be quite honest, I would give 0 stars, but the 1 star is for the office manager and the other main manager who apologized and showed their understanding towards me. read more

Got into an accident a couple of months ago: came here because it was the closest to my boyfriends house that would work with my insurance, but I live in Anaheim. That being said: got my car back from them about 3 weeks ago, & I'm still waiting for a part to be replaced on my bumper. I was given the car back with a part that STILL needs to be replaced. I called my adjuster last week, who called the collision center & said they'd call me right back. No call. I called again today: they said they'd call me right back, again: NO CALL. So now I'm sitting here wondering what it's going to take to get my car fully fixed. They haven't even give me ANY on the part that needs to be replaced. Oh, also: when I picked up my car, I drove halfway home to Anaheim, only to find out they have accidentally given me a document that was theirs, not mine... so I drove back and gave them the document. Overall: the initial process was great, but the follow ups & updates were non-existent. My car also makes a creaking sound now, which I've been trying to get ahold of ACG for as well, but alas: no call back. It's a NEW car, it's a 2020 Toyota I've only had for 6 months and now it's making all sorts of noises and does NOT drive the same at all... Don't recommend this place. Took my Tesla Model S here since they were the closest Tesla certified shop to me. HUGE mistake. No communication whatsoever, phone calls never get called back. I constantly had to go in person to get updates. My insurance covered my vinyl wrap and was approved to the shop of my choice to get it done. Instead, they had some mobile guys (or maybe did it themselves) to keep the profit. Attached are the photos of the poor wrap work that was done. They ended up taking the car to my wrap shop after threatening them with reporting insurance fraud for not following the insurance approved repair order. Worst yet, when the wrap was removed, come to find out they didnt blend the paint and now my car is a different shade of silver on the rear (as seen in the picture). I have been to a couple of body shops and this place is the worst, they never return your call or email + their work is very poor. I have spent too much unnecessary time here, and I'll still have to deal w/ them reworking my trunk & taillight about the water leak. I have reported this shop to CA Consumer Affairs for my rework. They repaired my Tesla Model Y Performance, and it took more than 2 month and poor work. Here is what happened: 09/27/22: Dropping of car for 1st time, shop was going to schedule rental car but rental car request hasn't even start, I had to take uber to Enterprise rental car and request the rental process from the beginning. I should have just stopped here and looked for a new body shop. 10/17/22: Car was completed but poor work, requested to be reworked. Trunk & edge of bumpers aren't aligning, paint had chips and over-sprayed on edges 11/14/22: Car was completed but still poor work, requested another reworked. Little bit more improved on bad areas but still wasn't perfect 11/21/22: Trunk is still not aligning, another rework requested it 12/02/22: Trunk is still not aligning and they can't make it align as before, they told me that that is best that they can do. I took it to a Tesla dealer and the dealer isn't recommending fixing it as long as the trunk is working and they do confirm that the trunk isn't aligning together. I gave up, I'll drive the car w/ cricket trunk. 04/04/23: I found out that my truck & tail lights are leaking from water. Email to ACG main email address & shop manager Leo. But no response 04/17/23: Sent follow-up email but no response 05/01/23: Called and reported my issue but as of today 05/08/23, still no response from the shop. read more

This past weekend I blew out a tire on the 5 freeway doing about 70 mph. Yes, it was scary. Through my car manufacturer, I get a free roadside assistant. I called the 800 number - done - They said the tow truck would be there in two hours. I'm thinking two hours stuck on the 5 freeway - ugh. So I called the tow company BenDave Towing to confirm. They have the worst customer service - he hung up on me. I checked their yelp reviews bingo - 1-star reward. I called back Maserati and asked for another tow company- done. They got me in touch with Tow Master aka Auto Collision. The guy on the phone was so cool. He said the truck would be there in 25 mins. Like clockwork, they showed up on time. They popped off the flat tire and replaced it with the spare - like two superheroes. These are America's unsung heroes. They finished in 20 minutes top. Very professional - super friendly. My employees (STEVE GARCIA) truck was referred the ACG by myself as in past the repairs were great and service. This time around repairs and service were horrible 2020 Toyota Tacoma truck was taken to ACG to be repaired for rear damage. The vehicle was from 09/26/2022 - 11/23/2022. The body shop said the repair would take approximately 21 days. It was delayed due not having a side panel in stock / back order. Myself as the owner of the truck asked them for the part # and located the part at another Toyota dealership on 2 different occasions. One being in Visalia, CA 177 miles away and then Stockton being 300 miles away. I asked then to transport or ship from there. They were adamant the part needed to be transported as the shipping could possibly damage the part. This was all as they insisted the policy was not to repair parts and it needed to be a new part, and they did not want to bear the cost of transporting. This delayed my repair out almost 2 months. The shop knowing I have no rental coverage and was paying out of pocket did not care nor did they offer to help with that rental. The issue then was all of a sudden they no longer awaited the new part that they kept stating would be in but never was and decided to repair the existing part. My insurance paid for a brand new part and I was not given that. I believe that the body shop allowed me to keep paying for a rental out of pocket as they did not want to pay for the new part to be transported and repaired the part after they said it was not policy. They got paid for a new part and I was taken advantage of as it was not brand new and only repaired. When I finally picked up my vehicle the tail gate that is hydraulic does not close as such. I need that repaired correctly and fear if I allow them to repair under a warranty they give I would only be subjected to delayed repairs and taken advantage of with my truck just siting in the body shop I want the body shop to: Reimburse me for 30 days of rental that my truck was just siting for a new part to arrive as they said new parts only are the policy and they could not repair then all of a sudden the policy changed and they repaired. This back and forth on this left my car siting 30 days until they made that determination. Reimburse me they difference between the new part my insurance paid for vs the repair as they were paid for new parts and that is what i expected and did not receive Repair my hydraulic gate that is no longer functional. I prefer to have another shop repair that at a Toyota dealership and ACG pay the cost read more
