Don't walk, RUN away from this dealer!!! Owner sold us a car with unsafe tires, dead battery, broken C/D player, broken sunroof, no owner's manual and rattling door. The owner assured us she would have someone pick up the car and make the repairs. Instead, she proceeded to give us the run around for several days and then ceased all communication. We filed a complaint with North Carolina Department of Justice, owner then claimed that she did not have any knowledge of our complaints despite us having e-mails showing the contrary. She submitted to the North Carolina Department of Justice something she copied from the Ebay website depicting a 2006 manual. Subsequently, the owner sent us a manual for a 2012 car however the car we purchased from her was a 2006. We immediately notified her of the mistake. To date, she has not contacted us. Spent over $1,000.00 to make the car drivable and safe several days after purchase. We still haven't fixed the sunroof and C/D player. We had a horrendous experience with this dealer. I called about a 2004 Mustang with 49K miles (VIN 1FAFP40614F213548) that they had listed for sale and spoke with John. Since we live 1-1/2 hours away, I asked him if he would take a look at the car and let me know if there was anything we should be aware of before making the drive. I specifically asked him to check the paint. He told me the car was in amazing condition and didn't have so much as a chip in the paint. Carfax reported one accident involving the front right corner of the vehicle which John said was very minor. My husband and I decided to make the long drive to see the car. The damage from the reported accident appeared to have been repaired properly. However, there were some serious issues with the rear of the vehicle. It was painfully obvious that this vehicle had been involved in another accident that was not reported on Carfax. The trunk appeared to have been replaced with a hail damaged one from a junk yard. The paint must not have matched because they SPRAY PAINTED it. There were lots of runs in the paint everywhere on the trunk and spoiler. My kids could have done a better job! This certainly wasn't perfect paint like John had claimed it to be. The spoiler was cracked across half the length. The bumper had several damaged places that weren't fixed plus there was white primer on the black paint from when they spray painted the trunk. There was also damage to the paint on the side panel from where they taped it off during the "paint job". These issues were so obvious that I find it hard to believe they did not notice them. I mean, they are in the car business after all. I saw them easily enough and I know nothing about cars. We asked Vicki (the owner) about the damage to the rear of the car. She acknowledged that it was definitely an issue and apologized that we wasted our time driving so far to come see it. She said she was going to have their paint guy take a look at it the next day and would get back with me. I told her I was sure that the car had been in an accident and explained that I was more concerned with the damage to the vehicle than the paint. The repairs to the paint were obviously done the absolute cheapest way they could get out with no regard to quality. Were the rest of the repairs just as bad? She said she would be addressing the problems with the car first thing in the morning. She offered to have someone drive the car to us once the repairs were complete so we wouldn't have to make the long drive to Greensboro again. Vicki called me the next day around lunch time to let me know that the paint issues had all been fixed. First of all, I don't think that is even possible to do in half a work day. I asked what they had done in that short amount of time. She said they sanded the runs down and touched up the paint. Hmmm, sounds like quality work there. She said her paint guy looked at the car and said that the car had not been in an accident and that the trunk was probably painted due to clear coat issues. I again told her that I was positive the car had been in an accident and pointed out the apparent hail damage to ONLY the trunk as proof that it had been replaced. She said she would have him look at it again to see if he could tell if the trunk was original. She called me back close to the end of the business day. She said they put the car on a lift and determined that there was a part that wasn't factory on the rear of the car and finally acknowledged that the car had been in an accident. When I asked that the car be checked by a third-party to determine if it was repaired properly, Vicki started apologizing that the car wouldn't work for us and acted like she wasn't interested in trying to sell it to us anymore. When I called her on it, she said that she would hate for us to buy a car we didn't have confidence in. Once again, I explained that I just wanted it to be checked by a shop to make sure that it had been repaired properly. She was not interested in having that done. She said I could drive back up there and take the car myself to a shop and I would have to pay to have it checked. I told her that I had someone local to me that offered to check it and asked that they have someone bring the car to Mooresville. She said that isn't something that they do. However, she had offered to do just that less than 24 hours prior. It is obvious that she doesn't want the car checked because then she would be liable if she sells it to someone without disclosing the damage. I made the comment that she was acting like she didn't want to sell the car to us because we are aware of the damage. Instead, she is going to wait for the next unsuspecting customer to walk in off the street and buy it. She said that wasn't true and they would PROBABLY disclose it to the next customer. PROBABLY??? Bought a car from them and within 2 days of driving it I began to hear a crunching sound when I applied brakes. My mechanic told me it was the brake pads and they were in a very dangerous condition. I had pads replaced for approximately 150.00, contacted the seller and he agreed to send me a check to cover the cost as indicated in the 30-day warranty. The check never came but the worst news was just around the corner...I never received the title, the 30-day tag I had been issued was bogus. Auto Choices NEVER reported the tag or paid any of the money I paid them the state for taxes, title or tag fees. On September 30th they filed for BANKRUPTCY so for all I know, they pocketed the money and left me to pay all this again and I have no idea when I will get a copy of the title. They are now protected from the customers they stole from but who protects us? read more

After searching for months for a car that fit all my requirements. I was happy to see that Auto Choices had just what I needed. I found a black on black 2012 Hyundai Sonata with no more than 70K miles on it. From the start the owners were kind and actually listened to what I was expecting. John and Vickie worked vigorously to help me get financing and to take care of any concerns I had about the car. Proud to say I have a excellent new ride due to them and the personal touch that help close the deal. What can I say, I just purchased my 2nd car from Vickie and I couldn't be happier. Vickie will bend over backwards to make you feel like family and get you the best deal. Obviously this is a business that requires them to have to make money but you never get that feeling there. My kids go in, watch cartoons on the tv and no one bats an eye.
