I had a pretty clear-cut exhaust leak, I went in (without an appointment), waited about 10 minutes and they put my car up on the lift, another 5 minutes and the diagnosis was confirmed. I was given my two options, and in about 40 minutes (they were probably done before this, but I walked over to the mall for a coffee and back) drove away with my issue fixed, for a reasonable price. Everyone was kind, there was no bullshit, and it was seamless. I'd go back to them anytime.

Now that my vehicles are nearing the end fo their warranties, I have started using them too. They are honest to the end - even where it may cost them (like sending you to a dealer for something that may be under warranty instead of legitimately doing the work that you asked them to do). They are FRIENDLY, they're FAIR and quite honestly, I have never been to an Auto service shop here OR in new Zealand (where I'm from) that I feel more comfortable with and would trust more than these guys. I took the car to InspectaCAR for a second opinion. They were able to see all the comments that Kaltire had made and all the parts that were failed initially. And they inspected those areas very closely, and disagreed with the comments (e.g. they did not see the leak that Kaltire had claimed to have seen). And guess what? My car passed! InspectaCAR saved me from being scammed $3000, and provided detailed explanations why they thought my car should be passed, and how they disagreed with all the comments that Kaltire had made. It makes sense to take cars to InspectaCAR for Out of Province Inspections because they do not do the repairs, so they have no incentive to scam customers in order to charge thousands of dollars on repairs. I highly recommend this place.

I've had both my vehicles in to these guys for both routine maintenance and break-fix stuff, and they deliver every single time. They also stand behind their work. If something doesn't come out right the first time, they fix it without quibbling about extra charges. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better general mechanic shop in Calgary. It is so rare to find this kind of service in the automotive sector! Kudos to the guys at Auto Experts!

On days like today when it's -40°C and everyone has a broken car, they take time away from their lives and their families, working late, just to help make sure their friends and loyal customers are safe. And they do their due diligence to learn about your make and model of car, so they can let you know what are common problems to expect, and what may be needed in a month or a year so you're not caught by surprise. Best friends a gal could hope for, and added bonus that they keep me alive on the road every day. Great value, too. I was driving a lemon a few years ago, and Dave said, "I've run a cost analysis on how much you pay to fix your car every year compared to an average family. As your mechanic, I would love you to keep fixing this car. As your friend, please stop fixing this car." That's the kind of honesty you can expect at Banno Auto.

I arranged to have my brother do the work. Upon doing it he discovered the work was already complete. My brother called and confirmed that Dave Banno worked on my vehicle for free as a gift. He replaced three of my brakes and did an oil change and washed my vehicle. At first I was so grateful. I started spending time with him and gave him a Christmas gift. He was really nice at first but after five days of spending time with him, one night he slapped and choked me. I also recently noticed that he put a sticker on the back of my car that is very difficult to take off, advertising Banno Auto. He did this without consent also. I wouldn't put it passed him to say that I stopped spending time with him for a different reason other than the fact that he did things to my property without my permission, assaulted me, and has been trying to buy me, manipulate me and guilt me into spending more time with him. I really hate that I have to write this but I believe that if I don't he may do this and maybe worse things to other women.
