WOW! In and out! I could not believe how quickly we had this smog test taken care of. Very nice staff, nice reception area as well. We arrived a little bit before out appointment, but were still taken in, 15 min later, the car was done! Look for a black and white checkerboard painting on the white building. Was recommended here by a friend and now this is my go to shop. Serge and Wayne are great. Here are some things I like about the shop -super clean. Not like a lot of other shops where the dirt and grease gets tracked into the office. -technology driven. Super easy to make a reservation online. See what is available and set the time and date for your appointment. -fast. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than a day to get my car back. That being said I haven't had anything major like an engine replacement -responsive. They actually call you back to let you know progress and when to pick up your call. New owner has offered to fix the truck. Going to bring it back. A got a bad feeling when I first went to Auto cate experts ( Fred's shop ) and should have went with my gut about taking his word on a vehicle I bought from him. He insured me that everything was good and that he was driving the vehicle regularly, so I purchased it on his word. Well that was a big mistake. By the time I got the vehicle home the engine was making noise and turns out it has internal issues. I call Fred to try to talk to him about iand he told me too bad he sold it as is. Why would I be upset that my car failed because I needed to drive it more to clear the codes? The owners response is simply a plea to cover up his bad and crooked business tactics. Who's going to get upset over $25-$30? Really? It's the bad attitude, the bad bedside manner, the arrogance, and the mannerisms of the owner that begin to give him bad reviews. Then it's escalated to even worse by his shady tactics. I just had someone today tell me that he had a friend take his car for repair there and was told it wouldn't be more than $3k. The owner finished allegedly finished the job and then presented the customer with a $10,000 bill. I have no way to substantiate any of that but if things are good you don't typically have these stories coming at your door. I stand firmly on my original recommendation, stay away from them. Perhaps he can learn something about congeniality and business etiquette from the guy he has staffed at the front desk. He's a great example of how the owner should behave. read more

This was my first time getting a smog check on my Lexus and I was concerned it was going to be a tedious process and that I was going to be overcharged. No way! After doing my fair share of looking around and asking for quotes on my car I stumbled across this place and it was honestly the thing that made my week. I got into a small accident and I really wanted to avoid going through my insurance because the damage was bad enough for a $500 deductible. However there still was noticeable damage at least for me because I'm a perfectionist and stuff like that bothers me. I called to see how to go about getting a quote and I spoke with Wayne. He was so helpful and very thorough. He told me to come in because it's the best way to asses the damage fully. And I did. He laid out everything they would do to fix it and how much EACH thing would cost. There was no underlying costs and everything was very straight forward. Not too mention Wayne set me up with a free loaner car because I was going to be out of a car for three days. This was a please try surprise because I thought it was going to be one of those situations where I have to just try and get rides and what not. They estimated it would take three days but they finished a day early!! And I got to take my car home looking brand new again.
