It was leaking three days later (I live three hours away). Midwest Auto told me to take it to my local mechanic and they cover their mistakes 100%. Apparently that isn't true. Another $300 to my local mechanic after Midwest Auto apparently forgot a step. When called by my local guy for payment, they declined saying to the local mechanic, "you understand, you're a small business".... and my local mechanic responded, "we would have correctly installed the transmission"...... Would have been happy to pay the extra $300 initially just to have the car fixed correctly. Come to find out $35 in parts at their location would have saved me $300.....

He also recommended that I take a look at my brakes at some point because when he drove it they didn't seem to be responding properly. So appreciate Ronnie! Figured they would call me about noon . Totally wrong on that. Had to call again they hadn't gotten around to pulling it back into the garage but they were getting right on it. So I waited for another phone call that never came. Had to call them around 3 hours later still haven't had time to look at it. Very poor customer service skills. Went to pick up my vehicle. Upon opening my vehicle door there was dirt all over the floor board and the side carpet. My door had grease and oil on the door pull device. My center console arm rest had salt stains from someone's arm . You could visually see the arm impression. Went in with a full tank of gas came out with three quarts of a tank. So if you're looking for place to treat you like a paying customer. This isn't it never going back again. Oil changes are cheaper at Walmart. Took my vehicle to Hortons auto the following week identified the problem immediately . Had it fixed before the end of the day. I didn't have to call them once. They called to tell me what the problem was how much it would cost. Called to tell me when it was finished. Totally satisfied with their professionalism . If you do take your vehicle to ford take a photo of your odometer and gas gauge. Better yet get a vehicle gps tracker before leaving it overnight. There are better places to get your vehicle worked on than this place. Trying to get hold of anyone in their service department should have been my first clue. Best customer service I've received, ever!…read more Got stranded down the road with a burnt wheel bearing and damaged tub on my travel trailer. I was able to get over to their parking lot, but it was on a Sunday morning. They answered my calls and let me know when the parts store is opened. First thing in the morning. They would make phone calls and getting sorted. First thing in the morning. They were true to their word and within an hour they had parts on its way. They offered me power, so I could continue to work while the parts were coming and they completed the job faster than I ever thought possible. Pricing was fair, especially considering that it was an emergency last minute service request. Kyle, Seth, and Scott were professional, courteous, and understanding.
