Another $300 to my local mechanic after Midwest Auto apparently forgot a step. When called by my local guy for payment, they declined saying to the local mechanic, "you understand, you're a small business".... and my local mechanic responded, "we would have correctly installed the transmission"...... Would have been happy to pay the extra $300 initially just to have the car fixed correctly. Come to find out $35 in parts at their location would have saved me $300.....
