Eleven years of superior service! Brian is the greatest, most knowledgeable mechanic and very friendly. I concur with everything Haines E.has to say. Brian will take time to educate you as to what is wrong with your vehicle, how it's being fixed, the parts it will take, the equipment needed and how long it will take. You can learn a lot about your vehicle and it's care and maintenance, it's quirks and tendencies, recalls, etc. If he doesn't know he'll find out and let you know. I recommend him to my kids and friends. I trust him to take care of my kids vehicles and he helps them to understand the need to maintenance and care for them. I've heard some people say he's pricey. I guess if you compare him to the street corner mechanic. But he has equipment and the knowledge to use it, that is necessary to fix your car, the street corner mechanic doesn't have. These days vehicles are complicated with computers on everything and codes for everything. Major equipment is needed even on the simple newer vehicles. Besides Brian's vast knowledge of the vehicles, he has a way of making you feel like a close friend, even when you only see him to fix your vehicle. Thank you Brian for taking care of my family. I absolutely agree with the previous reviewer--Brian Horton is easily the best mechanic in Chillicothe, and possibly the region. He's is the friendliest mechanic I've met in a long time, and you'll easily spend two hours learning about not only the issue you came in for, but automotive history, the relevant (and sometimes irrelevant) history of the major brands (and the major brands' various particular issues), and maybe even some hunting and/or fishing advice as well. Best mechanic I've met in all my travels across the US! I drive almost two hours each way just to have him look at my car instead of using a local mechanic. My first encounter with him was when my car broke down, AAA was four hours late, and I didn't get towed until 6pm. The tow truck driver called Brian Horton, and Brian agreed to take a look at my car after hours. I was all set to go by 730. Later I took my car in to have the timing belt done, replace the water pump, etc. This was a ~6 hour job. He let me watch (and even help!) the whole time and answered any questions I had along the way, as well as explained what he was doing as he was doing it. A real learning experience, something you don't see these days. During this job, he drove us to get some fast food and even PAID FOR MY LUNCH!!!!
