I stopped in on a Thursday and was happy to find plenty of the weekly blue-tag specials still available for just $1.49. On this visit alone, I scored four pairs of pants, three shirts, a blazer, and a few household items for less than $40. The staff is always friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door, and I noticed team members actively informing shoppers about the blue-tag promotion so no one missed out on the savings. This Goodwill feels like a hidden gem. Between the quality of the inventory, the organized layout, and the welcoming staff, it's worth the drive in my opinion. As an added bonus, it's only about five minutes from a great Dominican restaurant, making it easy to turn a thrifting trip into a fun afternoon outing.

Finally, they have both street parking and a parking lot. Often, there is a hot dog stand too.

In early July 2015 I ordered an Apollo microwave for $500 plus $35 shipping, for our RV. I was assured I'd receive it in about two weeks. When I didn't receive it, I called again and they told me they hadn't even started building it yet. They assured me I'd get it in two weeks. Now this wasn't a very pleasant call. I had to drag every bit of information out of him, and he really didn't want to commit to anything. I really began to wonder if I was dealing with one of those scam businesses. Well, it still wasn't here in the next two weeks. After another couple frustrating calls, it finally got here between 5 and 6 weeks after I ordered it. One of the most needed features was the convection oven. At this time it's only mid March 2016 and the convection oven has quit working. I tried the broiler, but that isn't working, now, either. That makes it just 7 months since we received the unit to breakdown. Now the microwave feature still works, but I didn't buy just the microwave for $535.00. The oven was the main feature and broiler next most important. This is the biggest waste of time and money. I would not recommend doing business with or buying anything from Apollo Worldwide (also called Apollo Half-Time Ovens.) I checked the BBB for the West Palm Beach FL area and there are three other complaints very similar to mine including the rude treatment and hangups mid call. I happen to be in the West Palm Beach area meeting a friend for coffee and stopped by this Ollie's. Good timing. It's a pretty big outlet with lots of affordable options on new items. I will say the book selection here is quite nice. I saw a lot of cool books that I would definitely buy. I have way too many books as is, so I didn't need to buy that many more. Ha. The prices were fair and a really good deal. They have another location in the Delray Beach area as well. Unfortunately, they don't have any Ollie's locations closer to me, but that's ok because I don't need to spend more money on BOOKS!!! This was a good find all in all and I'm glad I got to stop by and check it out. They sell tons of other stuff too but I was laser focused on the books during this trip.
