I've had them out a few times and highly recommend them. I didn't realize some parts on my refrigerator were still under warranty and the technician wasn't authorized to do the repair work so his recommendation was to contact Sears and have them send a repairman out; that Sears would/should not charge for the repair. I didn't know any better but they did and took care of me. They've been out to work on washing machines - the oldest (and best built) is worth being worked on until they say otherwise; another one (Costco) would cost more to repair than it was worth. When I took an LG microwave for repair I learned that in spite of it's age it still had a warranty on it - no charge to me! They've saved me a lot of money over time and guarantee their work. By 4:15 he had not arrived with no call, so I called dispatch who said he should be able to be there in another hour. At that point the time no longer worked for me, so I canceled the appointment. I have a dishwasher still under warranty. The workman called first time on a day I had other appts. and would not be home. Tentatively rescheduled, told them I needed at least a days notice (we run an animal rescue with 27 dogs and over 50 animals in total) to insure I would be here. Instead they called at 7:30 on the day they decided to come out...woke up the entire household...including my husband who gets to bed at 4 AM. All the dogs started barking...could not hear him and told him I had to go in another room to hear him...and so he hung up. Had to get up, find their number and call. Was told they can't call the day before because they don't get their schedule til that morning...which isn't true because the girl on the phone set up an appt. for next week. I must give this company 5 negatives, no stars!!! This is the third time Authorize Appliance Repair has sent someone out to repair my upright freezer. The same guy came out the first two times. The first time, he needed to order a part. The second time, he came out with the compressor put it on the freezer and said, "Give it 24 hours, and it should be working." It doesn't take that long for a freezer to get cool. I checked it all day and night, and it was completely HOT! I trusted him like a dodo bird. Today was the third time, but a different guy came. He asked if the first repair guy had gotten it running, and I told him 'no.' He replied, "That's not like him." I don't know, but I don't like him (his ways of not repairing my freezer). The second repair guy said he needed to order a part just like the first guy. This time, it's the compressor. They seem to be playing a game with my freezer called, "I'm not going to fix you freezer, Ha-ha!" Each time they come, it's the same ending: not fixed. I heavily rely on my freezer. In the meantime, I'm driving 30 miles each way to the store because I can't stock my freezer. Shouldn't the repair guys know what they are doing? Somebody knows something. read more

They charged my 70 year-old widowed mother-in-law nearly $700 to fix an ice maker. We live out of state, so I asked them to charge me the final $325 balance (which ended up being $445). I left a credit card on file with the customer service representative AND told the technician Miguel to make sure my mother-in-law did not get charged and they still charged her. Took three trips, even though I told them what needed to be replaced after the first trip. Presuming the response will be that the parts were expensive, but it still does not explain or justify charging someone nearly $700 to fix an ice maker, especially a 70 year-old widow on a fixed income. Ice maker now works. Miguel was generally a pleasant and competent technician. $700 to fix an ice maker is not acceptable. You can buy an entirely new fridge with an ice maker for about $1,000-1,100. read more

I made an appt for 4/5 and requested the afternoon due to work issues. I didn't receive a call in the morning. I was home by 12:15. No one showed! On 4/6 I called them and they said the appointment was that day. I know it was on the 5th! I explained that I didn't receive a call this morning anyway. The woman spoke with the driver and he could fit me in between 12 and 12:15 today. I said I could probably leave early but there was no way I could with no notice and I wouldn't be able to get there in time anyway! I wanted to write a review on the service technician that came out to fix our brand new G E Profile dishwasher. Bill was exceptional and very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. The company on the other hand did nothing to move along our repair which took over 3 months to get done. My new dishwasher was installed on 1/20/23 and after 2 uses was leaking and parts came apart on it. I called and made an appointment on 3/27 and was told that it would be looked at on 4/27, a month later. I was not happy and after several other cancellations from ATS it was finally fixed this past Wednesday. I would have given a 5 star but the 4 is because of Bill. read more

Called Whirlpool to get our dish washer fixed (Out of warranty) and were referred to this company. Tech came up and charged $80 dls to diagnose. It took a month to come again here with parts and replaced whatever they thought the problem was. Paid $338.27 for the service and he assured the problem was fixed. Wife try to wash that same evening and had the same dirtiness for dishes and silverware, we have tried a couple of times and nothing changed. Rescheduled new appointment just to say that it may be the water pump now and it will be $300 more dollars....INSANE!! Of course we didn't accept! Requested to speak with supervisor and no call back until now... I am initiating a dispute with my CC company to get my most recent amount back. Whirlpool is "washing their hands" out of this too. Called about an oven that wasn't coming to temperature properly. It took almost a week to get a repairman out - when he came, he recommended a new broiler burner (which wasn't what I called about, but the oven is old, so ok) & a new ignition burner assembly. Total - $471. It took another week for the parts to come in. Installed both parts, & it worked fine when he left; 3 days later when I try to use the oven - same problem. Call again & they send the same guy. He was courteous & polite, admitted that he wasn't quite sure what the problem was, but that he had one more part he could replace. Recommended a new harness kit - $47. Labor was waived, but after shipping & handling it came to $66. Asked me to allow 24-48 hrs. to see if it worked; I used it twice & it came to temperature both times. We then went on vacation for 2 weeks; got back yesterday & I turned on the oven - SAME ISSUE. At this point, we are already $537 in the hole & nothing is fixed. I'm probably going to just try someone else, but it's frustrating that it takes 20 mins to preheat my oven to 350. We had a technician come to repair a refrigerator leak. The problem was diagnosed and warranty part oredered. When the part came in, the technician returned and installed it. After he left, we discovered that water dispenser and ice maker no longer worked. We called the next day and were informed that it would be three weeks before they could come back out. We agreed, and three week later the technician returned and claimed that we had a bad solenoid, and quoted a $500 repair. I was surprised to hear this was the case since it worked before the repair. I told the technician to go ahead and order the part, but when I came home from work, I pulled the fridge out, removed the lower back panel to reveal the solenoid and found it was unplugged. I plugged it in and voila everything works. WTF. I called the company to report the situation, and request a refund of the service call charge. They declined. My mother-in-law's LG refrigerator wasn't cooling anything, so we had ATS come and diagnose/fix the problem. As expected, the compressor needed to be (and was) replaced. However, shortly after the replacement my mother-in-law noticed water accumulating under her fridge. By the time we next visited her and realized the issue (the leak was coming from a copper tube coming from the new compressor), ATS said that: a) they no longer work on LG refrigerators, b) the person who worked on our fridge is no longer with the company, and c) it's our fault for not calling them right away. So...the problem was caused by their technician who no longer works there and now they won't fix it because they no longer work on LG products...to put it bluntly: the job was done poorly, that's a crappy excuse, and that's horrible customer service. read more

We have used this company for many years. This last time, they didn't fix anything, the tech spent 20 minutes messing with the ice maker, was able to get the cubes out. Then he said to give it 36 hours to "make ice". It made 0 ice cubes. I scheduled an appointment, as requested, for the tech to come out and replace the ice maker. The message he left said if I didn't call right back they would cancel. So I called right back, was assured he would make the appointment. No show. They got $90 for the first trip. Our washer needed repaired so we called them to come out. The repairman was nice, charged 90.00 to look at it, the ordered parts. He said it would be a few days before they came in which is fair. The parts came in and we set up an appointment, we did the usual where we had to alter our work schedule but it is what it is. We got a call saying the repairman was sick and they wanted to schedule next week. We weren't thrilled. My husband talked to the very bored, non customer service oriented lady answering the phones hoping to get someone sooner. Not very helpful, she basically acted like this was our problem not theirs. They ended up sending the repair guy a couple of days later so we were happy. Guess what, the parts ordered "Had the correct part number on them but were the wrong parts". I asked if we would get some kind of a rebate since it was the parts people who messed up. One would think that the answer would be yes since ATS should get money back for wrong parts received? I feel like that was weird. Anyway, I was told that there would be no money off...let's not forget about the 90.00 already charged. We are going with another company. After this, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. Not good business practice and I don't think they were honest about what happened. Lots of red flags. read more

My freezer was starting to defrost and they sent a technician out. He fixed the problem and then within 2 hours it reappeared. I called the. Office. And they said they would get right back to me.No phone call at all. Call them of course on Saturday. Then which when they were closed. They said they would call within one hour after opening which did not happen. So I called them no answer no call return. Call 3 different times. I would never ever recommend this company. They have horrible service. Unfortunately. My only option is to go to small claims court and also file a complaint with the registrar since my meat has spoiled. read more

It is hard to even find someone in the Tucson area that is authorized to service this amazing appliance. Not only did Leopoldo find the problem immediately, he got the parts ordered and serviced it very quickly! He is extremely personable as well as polite. I am very happy with the service and elated to find a service company like this is Arizona. So the head of this company contacts me to tell me I can't use his company because after TWO same day changes to appointments. Two appointment times were changed the MORNING OF the appointments, and they want to show up at 6:30 PM to repair a fridge that will take three hours to fix. They ONLY called because I called Whirlpool. I told them to go to hell. LOL. I am crushed...... LOL. He couldnt figure out how to remove lower drawer and gave up and claimed he didnt know how to work on my frigidair. He then gave us an estimate of $850 to repair ?! Didnt lift a finger to do any troubleshooting. This company came highly recommended but apparently the "good techs" dont work my area. read more

We had a warranty issue with a dishwasher, and whirlpool sent a different company J & B appliance ( now victory appliance repair) and after 4 months they were unable to fix the issue. ATS not only stepped up and came out within 3 days , but had it fixed within 10 days. Joe the service tech was one of the most friendly techs I've ever dealt with in any industry. They are rude, talk down to customers, (even moreso if you are a woman, because you know nothing) and they will have to come back several times because they either cannot get the parts or issues starts again as soon as they leave. Don't let them take your appliance to their shop either...they will keep it for weeks on end and keep saying they can't get parts. We have been almost 11 mos without a working microwave in a brand new house. The builder blames Whirlpool, and ATS and Whirlpool blame the builder....I am an innocent consumer and am stuck in the middle of this ongoing crap. UPDATE: I have since reviewed my video doorbell from when he came, (he brought a technician that was here previously, with him, and who was NOT suppose to be here again) and they had a discussion outside my front door of how he doesn't feel there is anything wrong with the microwave because it is brand new. That he brought parts but didn't bring them in, as he has to deal with "her". As soon as he came through the door he said I don't think there is anything wrong with the microwave and we are going to prove it to your builder that it is their fault. Then he would not let me show him how and when the issue was occurring, he insisted on pulling the door open when it was still running instead of shutting it off. Our issue is once it shuts off it will not heat again for another at least 2 1/2 minutes. He was so rude. He really did not like a woman telling him what to do, and it was very obvious. read more

I recently bought a new home with a busted refrigerator. I was referred to them by Bosch for a covered repair on new machines. My washer leaked. The service man from Authorized Technical Services said I used too much detergent. I lowered the amount to very little (1 tsp) and it still leaked. Called them again and same repair person came. He yelled at me too much detergent and left. I called the office to complain and they were quite nasty and said if they came again they would charge me. Bosch gave me another authorized service. Their service man ran the washer for a few minutes and found the problem. The gasket on the door was replaced and the machine works fine. read more

After six weeks and three trips to our house to "repair" a small problem that still allowed us to use our dishwasher, the technician shorted out two circuit boards making our machine unusable. I called and left a message for the service manager to call me and he finally did the next day. He admitted his technician screwed up and he assured me that he would contact me with an ETA on the parts as soon as they were ordered. I did not receive a call today, so I can only assume the parts did not get ordered or customer service is not important to this company. Either way, a reputable company would have ensured the parts were ordered the same day, overnighted, and installed within a few days. As it stands, we are washing dishes by hand because this company left our dishwasher in worse condition that they found it. We waited and no one called to schedule an appointment. Come to find out they couldn't leave a message because my phone wasn't connecting. I called my phone company and hard as they tried, they claimed it was ATS that had a phone problem. I called them and made an appointment for March 3 before 11AM. We have used Authorized Technical Service in the past and had good experiences. This past week our LG washer stopped working. I made an appointment for Saturday with ATS. Their technician Jeff called in advance and arrived exactly when he indicated. Jeff assessed the washing machine thoroughly and let me know that it was probably repairable but that given the age of the machine it might be a better option to buy something new. He said he would give us an estimate on Monday which he did and given the estimate and his advice we decided to buy something thing new. I felt the service charge was reasonable and highly respect how honest Jeff was in my contact with him. I definitely recommend ATS as a service provider. read more

Prior to this review, we have had excellent service by Bob from ATS. Unfortunately, we had an emergency as the water from the ice filler on our Whirlpool Refrigerator would not shut off and water was leaking out the refrigerator and onto the floor. My husband turned off the power to the fridge and we immediately called ATS for help. Our regular service man, Bob was 45 minutes away on another call, so they sent the closest service man to our home. He uttered his name as Marty as he stomped in and it was obvious he did NOT want to be at our house at the end of the day. To make a long story short, he jerked the refrigerator out from the wall, complaining all the way about how tight the opening was (we had it custom fit) and instead of pulling the refrigerator straight out to protect our tinted, glazed Saltillo tiles, he twisted it back and forth before we had a chance to stop him. I immediately saw the damage it created on the floor and told him what he had done. He could have cared less and did not say one word. He told us we needed a new ice maker and he would call Bob and let him know, and left. It was the worst experience we've EVER had with a service person. If you use this company for refrigerator repair...MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT SEND THIS MAN, MARTY to your home. He is the worst and you will regret any damage he does to your home. No matter how good ATS is, it only takes one bad service person to ruin the reputation of a company. read more

He was on-time, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Had it fixed in no time! I was also very impressed by Rachel in scheduling.
