For your first facial if you use code "firstfacial" it will be $65 versus $89. I liked the different facial options I got to choose from. It also had a led light component which I haven't done before. They don't use any steam, instead they remove each mask with warm wash cloths. Sammy did my facial. She was very friendly and walked me through each step she was doing. She was also fine with not talking at all if I wanted. Definitely worth trying! You can't beat the offer price.

I wasted my time, money, dignity, and sanity so you don't have to…read more I booked a same-day appointment for a pedicure via ClassPass. The manager greeted me and set me up with a technician before leaving for the day. In the middle of soaking my feet the technician realized I was a ClassPass customer and immediately turned the faucet off. She stubbornly refused to continue the pedicure saying I didn't have an appointment (even though I received an email confirmation), that I would need to pay outside of ClassPass, and that she does not work with ClassPass customers. At one point she gave me a "talk to the hand" sign (who does that?!) while pacing back and forth muttering in her native language. After a frustrating phone call with the manager that left me in tears, we all agreed it's best I leave. The technician seemed to feel bad after seeing my tears and applied some polish on my toes, but the experience was extremely unpleasant to say the least. To businesses - If you're going to treat CP customers like second class citizens, please just don't partner with CP in the first place. The manager apologized and offered a free manicure next time I'm in town, which I will not be taking her up on. If this is how they treat CP clients, I cannot imagine the treatment I'd get trying to claim an on-the-house manicure. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I've had horrible cystic breakouts all over my face for as long as I can remember, and even now in…read moremy early 30s, they still haven't subsided naturally (sidenote: WTF?) I've tried just about everything out there, short of Accutane, because I'm scared of it. I've tried topical and pill antibiotics, every over-the-counter anti-acne system, every system you order over the TV or from a family friend ... nothing made a dramatic impact on my skin. A family friend who saw Steven regularly convinced my mom he was great, so she paid for my first treatment. After the first treatment, I couldn't believe the results -- every spot on my skin that was raised was flat, and my breakouts were reduced by 50% within 3 treatments (I had the first 3 close together because I was getting ready for a big event). Now it's over a year later, and I see Steven for i-derm (aka galvanic) facials every other week because of the amazing results I've gotten. The Face Loft is a gorgeous little space, impeccably decorated, and Steven is one of the warmest, kindest people I've ever spent time with. He is really one of those rare super gifted people who's better at what he does than anyone else; we're lucky he's here in Chicago. Give it a try, you'll see such great results after one treatment that you'll be hooked.

My skin felt super soft afterwards, and I was relaxed the rest of the day. The best part--I was able to walk out the door without makeup and my skin looked flawless! No irritation at all--a perfect worry-free treatment for a special occasion, or a pick-me-up. The Faceloft only takes one client at a time, and the space has an exclusive feel. The owner, Heather, is a bright ray of sunshine that made me feel warm and welcome from the minute I met her. Highly recommended for any skin type: from teen to aging skin--The Faceloft has the whole family (and friends) covered.

Right at my appointment time Shi finished with her previous client and introduced herself. Led to the treatment room and got ready. The procedure was quick, yet thorough. Nothing missed. Finally, she is super personable and kept the conversation going which keeps your mind off the task at hand. I was actually surprised when she said it was all done! I highly recommend seeing Shi at Bella Amore! If you're a dude who has never tried a brozilian, give it a shot. You'll love it and Shi will take away any awkwardness you may be afraid of. After ten years of Brazillians & seeing over 10 different Aestheticians; I think I've found the one, and with that being said there is definitely NO gray area. Bella Amore is located in the Oak Brook Promenade inside of the Phoenix Salon suites, it can be kind of hard to find so if you are not familiar with the area give yourself an extra 10 minutes in case you get lost. She is sweet, clean, & a full professional. I applaud her for being fully educated with all factions of hair removal & skin care. Throughout the process she coached me on the do's & dont's that other wax techs have never mentioned to be before. The best part about my visit with Shiwanna is that I DIDNT FEEL A THING. I swear not a thing. AHMAAZING! Her Spa is the real deal for great service. She uses high quality grade hard wax & even has her own line of products that I can't wait to try! Give her a shot, I guarantee you will not regret it! I am a guaranteed a returning client.
