A mans word is a must, a honest days pay for an honest day worked , to be fair and kind. I know this to be true. Home grown , always working for the man , making them rich and taking orders that just didn't care. Bubba saw a better way and decided , against dads wishes, to go out on his own. To here him tell the story , it's very interesting. What I would like to say that this year he installed a mini split for me. He graciously gave me a senior citizen discount with a smile and an installation with him on the job site. Impressive. After a few months of have had time to write this review with confidence and absolutely zero remorse. I grade him an A+ and I can be very , very picky. Give Bubba a call. Tell him Catmon Dave sent you. In closing , this is not a one man shop. Bubba has built a team. From the front office , the ladies are so nice to the technicians that handle the hard installs. Multiple trucks to get the work done today and Bubba on the job cause he still loves it. So what are you going to do. Trust me? Or give your a/c problems to the Myer Team. Catmon Dave

Air Conditioning…read more When our A/C stopped working, we contacted Meyer - a local NB company based on good reviews. I told their office my wife would handle the decisions on the repair as I was stuck in an evening meeting. Their tech arrived and almost immediately decided we needed a complete new cooling system for $20,000. He reminded my wife 3 times that "your husband said it's your decision" while continuing to steer her towards a new system. Thankfully she resisted the pressure and the following day we contacted small NB A/C repair company which responded immediately and $175 later we are enjoying a cool home again.

Other company that came out was a water damage company to confirm it was water damage before we called you. You're just trying to cover your butt since this issue is your fault. Bob accusing me of lying over the phone was very unprofessional. We had climate express come out to do an AC tuneup for the summer in April. Recently, we noticed that there was a line and bubble on our living room ceiling. Next day, another large bubble popped up. Then, more bubbles on my young daughter's wall and ceiling. Called a restoration service to see what it was. Come to find out, it was water damage from the AC leaking. We will need to be taking out our living room ceiling, my daughter's ceiling, wall and flooring. There may even be mold growing. We will have to find somewhere else to live while they are doing repairs. Called climate express to come check it out. Tech admitted to us that it was their fault for leaving a cap off the drain and that we would be hearing back from them. They ended up coming today to look at it. Was told that we'd be hearing from the owner. Just got off phone with Bob, the owner. He was very unprofessional in the way he spoke to me and raised his voice multiple times. Even claimed that we messed with the drain lid and caused issue. They would not be standing by their service. They caused this problem, no one else. This company has ZERO integrity. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This complaint by me was met with counter accusations, excuses and name calling by the owner none the less, neglecting the fact I have electronic readouts showing the new system and its effect on my entire home. Two months into dealing with this Thayer's reluctant answer was to install (for free/an admission of guilt) a dehumidifier, in turn this now runs all the time is vibrating the home. In addition to the humidity problem, they also installed a home air purification kit (2), these were installed incorrect according the manufactures specifications, they argued this point, stating the Germicidal U/V lights would not effect plastics within the air handler/furnace, ignoring the install specs stating "do not expose plastics, non UV rated to this UV light" placing blame on the air handler/furnace manufacturer "all plastics inside are UV rated", "that's what we were told" was Thayers response. The plastics inside, some no more than 2 inches away all showed signs of deterioration including actual bubbles/flaking/burnt marking on plastic within Line of sight of UV light bulb. I immediately brought this to Thayers attention and there's has been NO action (besides opening up units to verify my finds) or responses on their part, but like the humidity problem, I will take action including this submittal and other reviewing websites as well communication with the manufactures of the equipment they are installing incorrect, until there is resolve.
