Justin has a history of dishonesty and fraud. It looks like that has not changed…read more https://pasoroblesdailynews.com/man-arrested-using-counterfeit-currency/57581/ I had my pool water tested by several pool companies AND took the water to be tested at Leslie's after firing Justin. The chlorine levels were dangerously high (pool company said DO NOT GO INTO THE POOL) and the salt was too high which I knew because he dumped too much salt into the pool. It had already been diluted by rain water which was pumped out and was still too high. I encourage all customers who are reading that are being serviced by Gold Coast Pool "Pro's" ..sic.. to get a sample of their to Leslie's pool store and get a free test. I had also suspected that Casey was Justin's gf. She wrote a 5-star review in Google and then wrote a 5-star review in Yelp after my 1-star review. Here's her 5-star review of her bf's company: "Casey Gomez 2 reviews 6 months ago Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I use his services for my vacation homes. He does regular service on multiple hot tubs and is usually available when I need something quickly looked at. He always answers his phone and is very fairly priced compared to some of the bigger businesses I've used for my vacation rentals!"

WARNING: Full disclosure! THE 5 STAR REVIEW POSTED IS JUSTINS WIFE, Casey! Nothing against Casey…read morebut I feel that should be disclosed. I would not recommend Justin and I agree with the other one star review posted. In my opinion Justin does not have enough knowledge of hot tubs but charges more than any other business I have looked into. We have parted ways after I questioned his recurrent repeated charges. Ex: $75 to clean our filter which entails spraying the filter and letting it dry. This in addition to the $100.00 monthly he charges. The spa frog he uses he charges $55.00 for one yet you can buy these on amazon for a pack of 4 for $51.00-$75.00. Justin does not inform you of charges before he performs what he calls "extra services," rather we just receive a charge and if you don't like it, he tells you to find someone else. There is no logical justification for his services and charges, its pretty much "its that much because I say it is." As I read the other negative review it seems as if I have had the exact same experience. A pattern indeed. Hot tub constantly dirty and foggy, had to specifically ask for him to clean the grime and build up on the hot tub yet we are being charged as if we have the cleanest, most high maintenance hot tub around. The final straw for him was me questioning his prices via text. He called me very angrily and told me I would need to find another technician and that prices are his prices. In my opinion I have been nickled and dimed by this man who does not have the skill he charges so much for. Would not recommend. Also take note that every time someone posts a 1 star review, the same day someone else posts a 5 star review lol. Nice to have people who have your back I guess. AND NO, JUSTIN DOES NOT WORK DIRECTLY WITH VACASA WHICH BE STATED BELOW. HIS WIFE EVEN TOLD ME HE DOES NOT. CONSISTENT DISHONESTY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS OWNER.

Pacific Pools - Failed strips on steel tray.

Pacific Pools

This is copy and pasted from my Google review…read more Beware. I would recommend going with another company. Our experience with Pac Pools has been less than ideal. I will say though, I have nothing against Clay and his team, they are nice people. They did our pool in '22/'23. The first issue was the pool tile. We had selected a fire clay tile that had a 16 week lead time. They had plenty of time to order the tile, told us they would order it all etc. Well, the tile didn't get ordered, so we had to choose a different more readily available tile. No big deal, things happen. But, as a contractor myself, if I don't order the custom veneer plywood to build cabinets before it comes time to install, I'm in trouble. But again, things happen, we get something close enough, move on. They finish our pool and a few months later our pool is getting incredibly cloudy after just 1 day of our 3 kids having swim lessons in it. Like disgustingly cloudy. We call them, they come out, shock the pool, give "reasons" why, too many kids peeing in the pool is the main one. I don't really believe that, but months go by, they're out every week shocking the pool etc. I call dolphin pools out, they take one look, about 10 minutes, and they find the ozone generator isn't where it's supposed to be in its output levels. So we hire Dolphin, pool has been crystal clear since. Then almost a year later, the tile on the pool cover bay starts peeling up, not sticking on the steel trays they are mounted to. And then the nosings start falling off. I call the tile people, Buena Tile, they say, never happened before but she replaces the 3 nosings for free. Great customer service. Then 4 more fall off. I call Clay. He comes out tells me it's specific to our jobsite and he won't cover the material. But he will be generous and do the labor for free. I have since had 2 pool contractors out and 4 tiles guys. Everyone is appalled and very clearly labeling a failed installation job on PacPools. The steel trays they are in, are not scuffed up to allow adhesion, don't have wire meshing welded to them for adhesion. They do have little strips of 1/4" material to provide surface area for adhesion, but those are glued on with a PL type of construction adhesive, and they have all failed and come up. So we have had to spend $5k ordering new material to replace the material that was poorly installed in the first place. The tile guys here installing them now are actually using the same exact trays, but will weld the mesh to the tray and do it so it won't fail. All of these things on their own are issues that can come up with any job. Crap happens. It's the lack of accountability, constant excuses, blaming of "jobsite conditions" "too many kids in the pool" etc etc, that really gets under my skin. I prefer to do business with people that take accountability when and where it needs to be done. My wife and I are both patient and reasonable people. But this all is just too much. There are people out there with companies that are better managed and I suggest you look into them before signing with PAC Pools. They will not be back to our house to do work, even if it is free. I don't trust them to be able to do the work right. The pictures here are of the tile that I personally, the home owner, repaired. And those repairs have lasted longer than the install job pac pools did. There is also a picture of how our new pool, that we spent $350k+ on, looks on 9/3/26. Almost exactly a year after the first nosing dropped off with me having done 4 repairs. 3 more nosings have fallen off. So. BEWARE. EDIT, turns out there is a review on here with 4 stars from Anya that is a photo of our pool!!!!!! Sketchy!!!

Pacific Pools were efficient and prompt and Clay took care of all permits. The result is beautiful…read moreand exactly as we dreamed. Their crew was responsive when we needed follow up adjustments or fixes. We would gladly work with them again.
