We hired CCH Pools to construct a pool for us. Initially the staff was easy to work with in the design phase. Once construction began, so did all the problems. If you are in the market for a crooked pool, poor construction, failed timelines, insufficient/inadequate equipment, lies & deceit... this is who you hire. Ultimately we had to get a restraining order against Derek because he was threatening and refused to back down. He failed to pay 3rd party bills on time and then threatened to halt our project if we did not pay them direct even though we had already paid him. Now that we have spent well over a year trying to finish his project and fix the MANY things that he did wrong, we have encountered vendor after vendor, customer after customer, employee after employee who have been wronged by him. read more

I contacted CCH pools a year ago for a repair on an automatic pool cover for the townhome community I manage. A tech came out to assess and I received and invoice for about $150.00. Invoice was paid and I let them know I wanted to move forward with the repair. After a couple weeks I reached out for via email for status on repair and I did not receive a response. After calling I was told by the office that an outside company from the central valley assists in repairs, and they would not come out until they had a sufficient workload to justify their trip out to my area. Needless to say, that after a year of waiting I am no longer expecting a call from CCH Pools and my repair. read more

I switched pool companies last summer and have been extremely satisfied with my service from CCH pools! They cost (not much more)a bit more compared to other companies in the area, but WELL WORTH IT!! The service guys (usually 2 of them) always brush and vacuum my pool. Chemicals are always at the correct level. I rent my home on Airbnb sometimes throughout the year. They are always accommodating of me needing extra derives after I've had guests. This pool company is incredible for weekly maintenance as well as for short term rental properties!! Props to Rusty in the office for always getting back to me! We have worked with CCH pools in the past and they have provided us great service. We asked them to come to our location and replace and repair a part for our swim spa. Once the part was put on the next day it didn't work properly. I emailed RUSTY and asked that the technician come out and fix the problem. He called me and said the technician could come out but that the technician was not at fault for what happened. Once the technician Fernando came out he explained to our maintenance man that he had made a mistake and didn't tell our maintenance man about a reset switch. We said no problem and thank you for coming out. Rusty emailed me a service call invoice for $145.00. When I asked him what it was for, he said for them coming out. I emailed him back and said it was the fault of their technician so why would we pay for something that wasn't our fault. He said he disagreed and said that if we didn't pay our invoice we would be basically sent to collections and tacked on 20%. I could not believe how rude he was, basically calling me a liar and didn't own the fact that they made a mistake. Word of mouth is everything and I will be letting the BBB know about our experience. read more

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. Company was hired to clean my pool. Technician, Fernando, did an evaluation visit ($140), he seemed knowledgeable and it seemed like he had an understanding of my pool and spa. However, he failed to clean the pool on the two subsequent visits he came here. Said he checked the chemicals and needed to order a special brush for my pool. He turned the pool pump off which meant neither the heater nor the solar heating system worked since they need the pump to be on in order to work. Office person, Randy, extraordinarily rude and misinformed. He informed me that I had told Fernando I only wanted him to check chemicals and look for some missing jet covers. WRONG. Owner, Derek, was called who appeared to understand that I hired their company to clean the pool. He said he'd talk about my pool at a company meeting the following Monday. After that meeting I received a curt email telling me the service contract was being cancelled with no explanation given. The way they treat customers lacks courtesy and professionalism - no phone call from the owner, no return of one of my jets that was taken so it could be matched. One of the most unprofessional companies I have ever tried to work with. Do NOT hire them - full of promises, NO customer service, and just plain out incompetence and rudeness. read more

If I could rate this less than 1 stars I would. This is a total scam. I was charged for 3.5 hours when on camera he was there for 2 hours. A typically cleaning which we have multiple invoices cost us anywhere between $200-$250. I was charged $552 dollars for a cleaning through CCH Pools. I was told that gas prices have gone up, in which I live .2 miles away from this business. If they want to charge me 70 cents for gas I would happily agree. I will never use this company again, or allow any of my clients to use them. When I called back to fight the payment they mentioned they had 1 extra person on the work order that was in training, which made a little more sense on why my panel was not put back together, the hot tub cover on backwards and falling in the water, and why they could never give me a solid answer on the total payment when they called there boss to ask. Still very confused on why I would be the one to pay for someone they are training. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! TOTAL SCAM! read more
