We then agreed to a weekly maintenance program. I have used other pool maintenance companies in the past and most of them we a horrible value. They would stop by for less than ten minutes and then leave while charging premium prices. Robert, on the other hand has been spending 30 minutes or more every visit. The first visit he probably spent two to three hours or more getting the pool back. He adjusted chemicals, scrubbed the tile and turned the pool clear blue again. The Pool Doctor is a newer business which isn't a bad thing. He devotes the time he has to his clients in a way the big companies don't. I would definitely recommend him.

When I called to ask him to fix it he just stopped returning my calls and just stop showing up. Very unprofessional/unreliable. Omar decided not to show up during a major heatwave in June and my hot tub went green and pool started to develop algae. I Just had American leaks detection out here and verified that the barrel coupling he attempted to install has been leaking and that is why my pool is not priming. Stay away from wet and wild, they are the worst

I cannot recommend North County Plumbing enough. They're the BEST IN THE BIZ. Don't waste your time…read morecalling anyone else (seriously). We had QUITE the plumbing issues to overcome. After going round and round with another company, having problems with communication and reliability, I finally wised-up and called North County Plumbing. They responded immediately (at 4:30pm) and came out the next morning. Paul and Jim were available for all our questions, were thorough in their explanations, priced reasonably, and have gone above and beyond to accommodate our very needy property in a timely manner. Dre (one of their plumbers) has also been great to work with as we've battle some head-scratching plumbing problems. I don't wish plumbing problems on anyone, but if you do have the need, do yourself a favor and call these guys FIRST! You won't be disappointed.

YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!…read more WARNING ABOUT Grady's Pool Service, Inc. - Pool Contractor in Bakersfield & Central Coast, CA Swimming pool contractor I feel compelled to share my experience with Grady's Pool Service & Construction (operating online at gradyspools.com) -- a company that is led by Mark Grady, a pool builder and general contractor. Their website touts "20+ years in the pool business" and custom pool design, build, remodel, and repair services in Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, and the Central Coast. However, my experience was extremely negative and serves as a serious warning to other homeowners considering hiring this contractor. What Happened in My Case Before hiring him, my loan company refused financing because he was on a contractor blacklist due to active lawsuits -- a red flag I later confirmed after issues began. I was given an alternative financing method and, trusting his explanation, entered a contract for a full pool build. Payments were tied to construction milestones because I had no traditional pool loan oversight. During the build, many construction errors occurred, clearly due to poor supervision and bad direction from Mark. Multiple portions of the build are out of building code, which means they must be demolished and redone before final inspection can pass. He was absent during most of the build, showing up mainly when money was due. He promised to install a saltwater system but claimed it should wait until water chemistry was balanced -- then changed his number and disappeared. Subcontractors were not paid by him and attempted to place liens against my property because of unpaid bills, forcing me into months of conflict. This is particularly troubling given other reports showing mixed review experiences for this business. Important Facts Other Homeowners Should Know Despite claiming certifications and years of experience on gradyspools.com, project execution was severely lacking. The still never passed a final building inspection. The promised saltwater pool system was never installed. Costly code violations must be corrected. Subcontractors attempted to place liens on my property due to Mark not paying them. After repeated attempts to communicate about job defects, Mark effectively abandoned the project and changed contact information.
