We registered on the 12th, and on the 30th of the same month, I let them know I wanted to cancel. They are now charging me for another month of lessons, despite my cancellation request. Beware that if you sign up mid-month, you'll be on the hook for another 4 lessons, despite no services rendered.

Here's what I have to say about the experience I've had: I have David Price as my teacher, and I am utterly grateful for his instruction. He is fantastic--always involved in every step of the lesson, playing along with me, giving me directions as well as examples of what to do, and he's just a down-to-earth guy who's friendly and kind. The owner, Kath, is sweet as can be, and every single person I've met from that school has been helpful, friendly and polite. The school is clean; the environment is welcoming; the instruction from my teacher is second to none, and I've had four teachers, counting him. I am very happy with everything I've experienced so far. I am excited to see how I grow as a violinist over the coming months and years.

I have always known I needed help with certain aspects of my singing, but I didn't even know how to explain what I needed help with in a way that made sense. With Chris I feel I am finally going somewhere better with my voice and my understanding of what singing is. The first thing you notice when you are getting acquainted is that Chris has a pleasant and gracious presence. He is also fun/funny, yet task-oriented. I would imagine with his personality he could make any man, woman or child, whether an experienced vocalist or not, feel at ease enough to bust out singing and get to work! Chris is so good at telling you 1) what to work on 2) exactly how to work on it and 3) explaining why it will help, which is huge for me. After my first lesson I found myself practicing techniques and exercises he taught me and I almost jumped out of my skin at how much better he'd already made me. Teaching singing seems to be second nature to Chris. I truly feel he holds all the good info to give people to help them excel. Definitely try his lessons, whether you want to learn how to sing for the first time, get better at singing, or already sound like Mariah Carey but just want someone cool to hang out with!

She puts on a couple of recitals a year and has informal "karaoke" parties so that her students have something to work towards. She focuses on singing musical numbers and pop/folk songs and encourages students to pick their own songs they would like to learn. The location at her house is actually quite nice. You soon get used to freely walking into the house and past the ongoing piano lesson given by her mother into Lisa's own cozy little voice room. Her and her mother are the nicest people in the world! It's neat to experience those pockets of niceness in this crazy mixed up world.

I…read morehad no idea what this guitar would sound or play like, so I gave Andrew a call (he answered and I got a quote and appointment set up within 5 minutes) I got there and asked him if I needed a setup, and instead of being un-transparent like other repair places, he tested the intonation and sound right in front of me so that I could hear if it was sounding right. He seemed pretty busy this week and told me it would be about a week's wait for my work to be done. Well, Andrew called me in HALF the time he said it would take to finish the job. He let me play it in his home to make sure everything worked okay. Well, holy cow, this guitar sounds and plays better than the Gibson Les Paul classic I hawked a year ago! His prices are really great too. Definitely going back to Andrew in the future. Thanks!
