They require constant visits, and it feels like nothing but a cash grab. I've been on medication that works great for me. However, when it came time for my refill after 60 days, I was told I had to come in and pay $145--for what? The medication works fine. I followed their instructions back in December, refilled my meds in February, and now it's May and the same issue again. With inflation and the rising cost of living, who can afford to pay out of pocket every time just to get a refill? And let's not even talk about the cost of the prescriptions themselves since I haven't met my deductible. Please explain why an in‑person visit is required for refills within a 60-90 time frame? Every refill requires another appointment, regardless of whether the medication is working. It honestly feels like they are milking patients. I only see these people for one thing yet they want me to come in for other services. Why? I only want to see you for one thing. They then said, I would need to show them proof of getting wellness services else where. Why? I don't have to prove anything to you'll. I only see you for 1 thing. So why the hold up. If the money went toward improving the office, it might make more sense--but the place looks untouched since the day they moved in, likely back in the '70s. It's old and outdated. Trust me--if you value your time and money, go somewhere else. Find a provider who cares more about patients than padding their pockets. GREED IS RUNNING THIS OFFICE.

My primary care doctor has been Dr. Bryan Wasson, DO for nearly five years now…read more When I first found Dr. Wasson, I was working in a miserable working environment that was not only miserable because of the hostility of the workers but the unreasonable use of the Air Conditioning at 62 degrees year round. I ended up with bronchitis and walking pneumonia three times in six months. Here is why I give Dr. Wasson 5 stars. He is one of the few doctors I have ever consulted with who actually realizes we might know a tad about our own bodies. What a concept? Right! Here is where we found this realization. I have been susceptible to chronic bronchitis for most of my life, an affliction I share with my mother. And both of us, over the years have figured out that there is a tell-tale sign of impending doom... a metallic taste in our mouth that won't go away. The first time I went to see Dr. Wasson, I complained about a metallic taste in my mouth. He gave me an antibiotic, a weak one and sent me on my way. Two weeks later I had full blown bronchitis that was borderline walking pneumonia. This time he gave me a couple of shots and some medicines to get me well. He wrote this metallic taste phenomenon in my chart. Every time since then, I just call and say I'm tasting metal and he gives me the full treatment before I have a chance to get really sick. Only once have I been given a prescription from Dr. Wasson where he didn't give me a sample or a coupon. And that one time was one of those days I was thoroughly glad to have such a great doctor! I had full-blown food poisoning. I had been attempting to take phenergan for a couple of days to no avail. I had both suppositories and pills. So this day Dr. Wasson gave me a prescription and sent me over to Las Colinas Pharmacy where they created a phenergan cream that I could rub on my arms. Because if you have been getting sick for 3-4 days you have to be able to get the medicine in you where it will stay, if you catch my drift. Dr. Wasson's office has always been able to work me in anytime I was sick...and they were very quick and thorough when I needed to have my pre-op screening to make sure my heart, my lungs and everything else was healthy enough for brain surgery. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Wasson if you are looking for an internal medicine doctor.

He keeps up to date on new treatments and the like. Having learned to be my own advocate for health care, I am extremely particular about who I trust to take care of me. In my experience, if Dr. Furman doesn't specialize in what he feels may be ailing you, he will refer you to a specialist that may be able instead of giving you a bogus answer or blowing you off. Also, his practice offers an after hours/weekend clinic that staffed on a rotation basis but he is there at least one night a week. It comes in handy for urgent care needs. ***No matter where I move in the metroplex, I will always make my way to see Dr. Furman if the need arises.

Im a type 2 diabetic requiring insulin. My first visit i…read moreasked for omnipod 5 g6 g7 and insulin. I had to have amazon pharmacy and the insulit corporation call them to describe the kit i needed. A also wrote it down along with a fax and phone number. The first prescription I got was an omnipod dash and u 100 insulin pens, I needed vials to fill the omnipod pump. 4 days later doctor fixes my prescription and I get just the omnipod and not the omnipod starter pack but she did get the insulin correct, problem is you can't use an omnipod without the controller which comes in the starter pack, so another 2 days goes by. Next prescription is again for the omnipod 4 dash. Finally she gets it right and I get what I need, it's been like 10 or 11 days. 2 months later I go in for blood work and show her my reading on cam and she's lecturing me on low blood sugar, but doesn't take into consideration that I've been fasting for blood work and the fact that I've been a diabetic using insulin for a decade, I always have something to raise my sugar with me just in case. I make an appointment for 2 weeks later to see how my blood work is. But today I get a phone call a week early an urgent one, her receptionists called me 4 times while at work to see if I could come in to discuss my blood work, I asked is t h we re something bad going on that requires immediate attention ? But she can't tell.me anything over phone and I was being persistent and she asked the doctor and doc told her to tell me my sugar was low and she needs to speak with me in her office. I'll admit I'm no doctor and I got pretty worried, worried enough to leave work 4 hours early and rush over there. When I get there the problem was that my blood sugar was low at the time of them taking my blood, not that my a1c was dangerously low or high not that something was terribly wrong, oh by the way my a1c had dropped 4 points in 2 months, I had to drag that out of them. At my last appointment last week she, Dr aslam gave me my prescription again for omnipod 5 just the pods and insulin, and again she ordered the omnipod dash. This time she got it correct on the second try and I recieved them 2 days later. I did get into an argument of sorts with her today and we both agreed that we were done with each other. She actually got mad at me for the poor care o recieved from her and her staff. Im going to contact my provider and make a complaint against her for shoddy service. On her website she claims to be an professional on diabetic disorders but has no clue what maybe the most popular insulin pump on the market is. If you doubt anything I've said is true give her a call and make an appointment, and by the way I think she may be the only doctor in dfw that has same day appointments and I now know why. Worst medical experience of my life. Good riddance.

Not even my brain surgeon! I have never had to wait to see her. Also she does all the lab work in her office and her lab technician is top notch. I love her! I am hard to drawn blood from and she gets it every time on the 1st draw. I don't even feel the pinch. Pretty wonderful for me! It is always a pleasure to go see Dr. Harvey. Michael is gentle and he is well accompanied by an angel of an assistant. They make a great team and they make me very happy I am in such good care when I see him. Shruti Shah is a great PA as well. If I cannot get in to see Michael, Shruti is my next choice. She is kind and very sympathetic. I have had to visit her last minute a few times due to migraines and she is so sweet and understanding. Her nurse is very nice as well. She does speak spanish which is great because I sent my mother to see her for that reason. Don't see Tierney. She lacks the knowledge that the PA's I've seen here have. I would press legal action against the clinic on Tierney's lack of profound research for my illness at an early stage but I won't take it against the rest of the staff for what Tierney has hopefully improved on. Wanda is a front desk warrior! She and Marisa ( lady with the dark long black hair , I forgot her name I'm sorry) They get the line down, they ask the right questions and if they can't answer it, they'll call you back. Wanda was so kind to get me in after I told her I had a migraine and she noticed my insurance information was not up to date. This made me upset because I had previously been to update it with the young girl with the curly hair. Which leads to my next suggestion...be cautious of what you trust the curly haired girl with. She forgets, she isn't fully attentive and she is unprofessional. Anyways, Wanda took care of updating my insurance and I was in and out when I got there. She is very sweet.

It is clear this office views patients as insurance payouts rather than people. Very disappointing.
