Amazing doctor, he pretty much figured out what my issues were on the first visit but refrained…read morefrom diagnosing without additional information (X-Ray and MRI.) I inquired with the nurses about pain medication but was told that they couldn't give me anything without an actual diagnosis when I was confused about why my husband elbowed me in the ribs and told me about junkies. It never occurred to me... They did recommend the heat/cold packs and OTC medications though, I thanked them but those hadn't been helping as I'd been trying them already. It took a total of three visits before I got a diagnosis, which was very frustrating. The first visit included the X-Ray, the second was the MRI only and the third was the conclusion with the doctor. I'd had inflammation, for an unknown reason as there was no actual injury, and then I got a steroid injection. I'm now 95% pain-free from not being able to move my dominant arm without severe pain going from the time I wake up to the time I finally fell asleep. I'd even wake up in the middle of the night because I'd moved wrong and it made the shoulder angry. Dr. Harris recommended a specific Physical Therapy office (Premier Rehab Physical Therapy, I chose the one in Keller) and thank goodness he did because I LOVE THEM. Hopefully by the end of my rehab I'll be back to where I should be. Only time will tell. Dr. Harris doesn't beat around the bush, he isn't in a hurry but he gets down to business. He explains things in a way that's easy to understand and gives a good expectation of what should happen. While I hope I don't ever need to see him again, I will go back and I will refer friends and family should they need him.

Awful experiences. Each time, I have to follow up myself to…read moreensure I get the care I need. During visits, Dr. Leon seems SO busy or over booked (or just does not care), doesn't know which pt he is seeing, who I am or why I am there. He does not take time to get to know you or educate you at all. For example, during my very first visit with Dr. Leon, he asked if I have "any pertinent family history" - the average person may not know what that means OR what is considered pertinent. My patch test came back posistive for items, including nickel. He asked if I eat a lot of canned food to which I replied "not really, well we have been eating a lot of tuna lately". He did not acknowledge that reply and moved onto his next question. Should I be avoiding tuna or other canned foods??? I guess I will never know. He asked many questions like this to which I replied yes, and he just moved onto the next question with no education or guidance. I asked him the best way to know if I am allergic to a products ingredient if that item was not included in the patch test, to which he replied very odd - giving me a non answer and just telling me to scan my products in the allergy app. Ok, well if we dont test for X, the app will say I am not allergic to X - so that does not help me. I asked him about 3 different, nice ways to which he replied "This is the gold standard and we do patch testing multiple times per week". Again, a non answer and he seemed almost offended that I would ask how I know if I am allergic to something or not that we do not test for. It was super weird so I dropped it. During my follow up with him, he walked into the room and asked ME to remind HIM what my "chief complaint is" bc he didn't take 30 sec to review my chart first. We were in the middle of talking, and after a few min he opens the laptop and says "Anne right?" as though he didn't know WHICH pt I was for sure and had to double check. At my follow up, I had to remind them I was also there for a nasal scope. Dr. Leon was supposed to send a medication to my pharmacy after my appt, that same day and did not. I had to follow up the next day to ask them to send it. Appts are very long, I am often put in a room and wait 45 min or more to be seen. I was also told I needed a sinus CT scan but they could not see me for 5 weeks! Insane. I explained I cannot wait that long and asked to be fit in that week, or send the order to an outside facility, so they did fit me in. I went in this week, Thurs 8/13 for the in office CT scan and waited in the lobby for 30 min. The front desk went to check on my wait time, and when she came back, I heard her tell her coworker that the main guy who does the scan was out that day and the girl covering was not monitoring the CT scan schedule. Great. I was told Dr. Leon would call me with the CT scan results (he reads them in the office), I was given option to wait for him to come talk to me about results in person that day while I was there or a phone call and chose a call because I needed to get back to work. It was implied and understood by me that he would call the same day, this was Thursday. Of course, he did not call me with the results. I sent a msg on the patient portal Thurs 8/13 evening asking them to call me Friday before the weekend as my symptoms were very uncomfortable and I am hoping to know results/treatment plan/meds etc before the weekend. At this point, it's been several weeks since I started coming here and we've tried two diff meds that have not helped. I still did not get a call before they closed Friday 8/14 for the weekend. Do not expect any bedside manner, education, answer to your questions, or prompt care here. I plan to follow up again next week on the scan results and I have already scheduled with a new doctor/office to transfer my care

SEE EDIT BELOW I…read morewould not recommend this allergy clinic to anyone. During my first visit, Dr. Shakouri was very dismissive of the fact that my profession as an airline pilot strictly limits which medications I am allowed to take. Despite my repeated concerns and the FAA medication restrictions, he continued to push for a "large dose" of an allergy medication until I finally said, "I would rather not." I was later scheduled for allergy skin testing and a sinus CT scan. The front desk provided written instructions, which I followed exactly. Those instructions also clearly stated that I would be contacted in advance with pricing if my insurance did not cover the tests. That never happened. On the day of the appointment, I was unexpectedly told I owed $300 for the allergy testing (which I reluctantly agreed to) and $150 for the sinus CT scan (which I declined). I expressed my frustration to Dr. Shakouri, after which he issued a refund, and I chose to terminate care with this office. Overall, this was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. Poor communication, disregard for occupational medical restrictions, and irresponsible front office practices. I now have to start the entire process over again elsewhere. I do not recommend this practice. EDIT: Just in case it gets deleted, Denise K (business owner) commented below: "It's sad patients can say anything they want on social media whether it's true or not" My response to Denise K. whom accurately proves my point about this allergy clinic: What's actually sad is dismissing legitimate patient concerns by implying they're untrue, rather than addressing them professionally. My review reflects my firsthand experience as a patient and the interaction I had in your office. If any part of it were inaccurate, a respectful clarification would be appropriate -- not a blanket attempt to discredit patients for speaking publicly. Reviews exist so future patients can make informed decisions based on real experiences.

After my beloved PCP retired/moved out of state, I decided to try Bridlewood Family Healthcare due…read moreto proximity to home and because my prior PCP had stated that my medical records would be transferred there. The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

I'm diabetic and trying to find the right medication has been much trial and error but my last office brushed off my errors. 1 Star -- Completely Failed by the Level of Care…read more I genuinely do not understand where the numerous five-star reviews for this facility are coming from, because my experience was nowhere close to five-star care. I specifically chose this facility in part because their website advertises ultrasound availability. After arriving, however, I learned that an ultrasound technician was not actually there and had to be called in. When someone is choosing where to seek urgent medical care, advertised diagnostic capabilities matter. I came in with significant left-sided pelvic/ovarian pain and a complicated medical history. I was completely honest with the physician about the pain medications I am already prescribed and why I take them. Instead of feeling like that honesty helped my care, I immediately felt judged. His demeanor and facial expression noticeably changed, the examination felt rushed, and he seemed eager to leave the room. The nursing care was equally concerning. They attempted to establish an IV seven times without success. I was stuck seven separate times, and I did not receive so much as an apology. Based on my experience, I had serious concerns about the level of competency and training demonstrated during my care. I was eventually given one Toradol injection. The physician had told me he would address my pain, yet I still had to specifically ask for pain relief. The transvaginal ultrasound was excruciatingly painful. Ironically, the ultrasound technician who had to be called in was one of the only people who actually advocated for me. She could clearly see the amount of pain I was experiencing and advocated for something stronger to help control it. More than 30 minutes later, I still had not heard a word from anyone regarding that request. I wasn't given a call light. I wasn't connected to continuous vital-sign monitoring. I was left alone in a room in significant pain without meaningful communication about what was happening or what the plan for my care was. I was also extremely disturbed by what I witnessed regarding patient privacy. Nursing staff discussed another patient's medical information inside my room and used that patient's first and last name. Regardless of the technical circumstances, patients should not have to hear identifiable information about another patient's care, and it made me seriously question how my own private medical information was being handled. Most frustrating of all, the ultrasound confirmed multiple cysts on my left ovary, exactly where I was experiencing significant pain. I did not come here without a legitimate medical concern. The only two employees I can genuinely compliment are the receptionist and the ultrasound technician. Both were compassionate and professional. The ultrasound technician, in particular, recognized that I was hurting and actually advocated for me. I chose this facility because of its extremely high reviews and because it appeared to offer the diagnostic services I needed. I expected compassionate, competent urgent medical care. Instead, I experienced seven unsuccessful IV attempts, inadequate communication, serious concerns about patient privacy, inadequate pain management, and a diagnostic service advertised as available that required someone to be called in. I came here looking for help. Instead, I am leaving feeling judged, ignored, and defeated. I have absolutely no idea where all of these five-star reviews are coming from, but mine certainly will not be one of them.

Every one of them has thanked me because they think his care is over-the-top and two of them even credit him with saving their lives after botched care from other providers. Dr. Hanna has ensured that I was matched with the best specialists for certain health issues that have arisen over the years, and he follows up with me about the results. I especially like the portal where I can see test results quickly, make appointments, and send various questions. The nice thing is that his nurse usually responds to questions I submit within an hour or so after consulting with Dr. Hanna. On two different occasions, I sent a question about a problem I was experiencing, and his nurse contacted me very quickly to come in as soon as I could get there. Also, wait time in the waiting room is very reasonable, rarely more than 15-20 minutes. In addition, I love that the practice has a lab right inside so after my appointment, I can just go down the hall to have my blood tests done. Overall, I couldn't be happier with Dr. Hanna as my primary care/internal medicine doctor.
