Her bedside manner is laid back enough that you feel like you're dealing with a friend and less like a stiff doctor in a white coat, but professional enough for you to completely trust her. She has found a solution to monthly debilitating pain which has lasted years. I've never been pregnant, so I cannot attest to her birthing beliefs or procedures, but as far as gynecology goes, she's the best I've ever found. While Dr. Chen herself is wonderful, many of her staff could definitely improve their overall attitude toward patients. There is one nurse who is particularly kind, but the office staff is almost always less than enthused. That being said, I will continue to go to Dr. Chen because of the exemplary care I've received.

She was able to help me resolve some things no one had found, I guess you could say she changed my life. I don't really see Dr. Moser anymore, I see her nurse, Whitney for my annual appointments. I love Whitney, she's so nice and so down to earth. The receptionist staff and medical assistants are really friendly, always smiling, but definitely don't try to use the form on the website to request an appointment. I'm pretty sure after several tries over the years, two at the end of 2024, that they don't monitor that form. And if you call and you get a random person's voicemail, just know it's the receptionist voicemail, they just don't put the name of the practice in the message. lol Whatever works for them, I guess. lol My pharmacy also had trouble getting hold of them many times so I just transferred my prescriptions to another of my doctors. There is a give and take for Dr. Moser's practice, but her knowledge, Whitney, and her staff are enough to keep me coming back. =)

The Southlake office is the closet one to me, so I gave them a call. They got me in MUCH sooner than I thought they would, and also had their forms online so I could fill them out beforehand to streamline everything. When I got there, it was a very welcoming, comfortable feeling office, and the staff was very nice. The practitioner listened to all my concerns, and even asked a couple questions that I hadn't thought of myself. She even answered my questions without talking down to me (as had happened before at other medical visits). Bug bonus, when I told her I am a bodybuilder, she told me she was going to run a few extra tests, just as precaution due to our strenuous training. I went back the next week to get the bloodwork results, and was able to start my hormone therapy immediately. I am VERY pleased so far, and am looking forward to working with them.

Two months ago, I discussed replacing my IUD with the doctor during an appointment, and he told me to go ahead and schedule the procedure. Life and work got busy, so I had to wait two months before calling back. When I called to schedule, I was told I needed to make and pay for another appointment just to "talk about" getting the IUD again, even though I'm already an established patient and had already had that conversation with the doctor. The scheduler then told me she "couldn't accept the responsibility" of ordering the IUD without another appointment because the doctor needed to know if I was on any new medications. I told her I wasn't, and honestly, the whole thing felt bizarre and unnecessarily complicated. She also said they needed to verify whether my insurance would cover the IUD, which is completely understandable -- but that's something they can do without requiring me to come in and pay for another office visit first. What made this even more frustrating is that nobody I spoke with seemed to know what I was talking about when I referenced my previous conversation with the doctor, which makes me feel like my visit notes either weren't documented properly or weren't reviewed. At my last appointment, the doctor literally offered to remove my current IUD that same day, so I truly don't understand why replacing it has suddenly become such a difficult process. On top of that, this office previously told me they would call me to schedule, and they never did. Add in the callback service waking me up early in the morning, the poor communication, and the overall disorganization, and I've decided I'd rather spend my money somewhere else. I've never had such a difficult experience trying to schedule something that should be fairly routine. It's honestly too bad, because the doctor himself seemed very nice and pleasant during my appointment, which is why this whole experience has been even more disappointing.
