Dr. Flowers office is SO VERY BUSY, oh my goodness. Getting an appointment is hard to do, often scheduling a year in advance. They used to schedule a couple of years in advance but that policy has changed now.
When you get to your appointment bring a book or a magazine, a bottle of water and maybe a light snack because you'll be waiting a while. I've had appointments run hours late, yes plural. While I was working I'd take full or half days, FMLA (due to medical issues) to go to my appointments. If I made it back to work early, that'd always be a bonus.
Dr. Flowers is amazing. She TRUELY cares about her patients. She takes detailed notes, recalls conversations from said notes. She can take some prompting, but ladies she sees so many patients a day. Give her a break! I've had two surgeries performed by her and both went flawlessly and I had all the information, prescriptions, help that I needed to recover.
Dr. Flowers has an amazing team in Chris, our lovely Nurse that typically takes our information and Tina that talks to us over the phone. Both of them are great and smiling. Poor Tina talks to me more than she'd like to I imagine, as I have issues, but man they handle everything like champs.
Dr. Flowers, Chris, and Tina are angels. They take such great care of their patients, assumed since I get great treatment every time.
My negatives are slight and not worth swapping doctors...
Appointments never run on time, even when you're supposed to be the first of the morning.
Dr. Flowers thinks I have high blood pressure, which my GP disagrees and thinks I'm fine. I think I have White Coat Syndrome because I get bad news a lot here. Either way, I still get amazing care, I just needed a note from my GP saying I don't have any additional issues. read more
