My 16 year old dog swallowed my hearing aid whole! Thankfully the battery wasn't in it. And of course, like all pets do, it happened on the weekend when my vet was closed so I quickly googled ER vets near me and it directed me to VEG ER. We got there and they were triaging other patients but immediately came in to do intake and then they did and x-ray of my dog, Theo. The hearing aid was in his small intestine and they were going to have to operate because it was causing an obstruction. They went over the procedure with me and were very patient and kind with my questions. At one point, I had to use my phone and realized it was dying and they quickly provided a charger for me to borrow. There was another dog having surgery so it would be a few hours to get Theo in so they setttled him in with an IV and some anti naseau meds and I headed home to sleep. The doctor said he would call me with updates. At 1:30am Dr. Wilson called and said that before they prepped Theo for surgery he decided to do another x-ray and yay, the hearing aid had traveled on it's own to its colon and I got to bring Theo home and lets just say, that the hearing aid came out the opposite way that it went it. I really appreciate that Dr. Wilson made sure that the surgery was truly necessary, especially for a dog that is 16 and has a heart murmur. The whole staff was great and I told them all thank you and I hope to never see them again! I can't recommend them highly enough!

Dr. Colby Kiefer and his entire team went above and beyond in caring for one of the best dogs I've ever had. My husky was getting older, and unfortunately, it was her time. We knew walking through those doors just how serious the situation was, and I believe Dr. Kiefer knew as well. However, not once did he rush us, pressure us, or make us feel pressured into making one of the hardest decisions a pet owner will ever face. Instead, he showed an incredible amount of compassion, patience, professionalism, knowledge, and genuine kindness during an extremely difficult time. What stood out to me most was not only his medical expertise, but the way he treated both our dog as well as us. He understood that she wasn't just a pet to us. She was a huge part of our family, and saying goodbye was never going to be easy. I sincerely hope we never have to meet again under circumstances like these, but if I ever find myself in a similar situation, I couldn't imagine having anyone other than Dr. Kiefer and his amazing team helping guide us through it. Thank you, Dr. Kiefer, and everyone working in the emergency room that night, for the compassion, respect, and kindness you showed not only to my wonderful dog, but to our family as well. I know the work you do isn't easy, and I can only imagine how emotionally challenging it must be at times. Everyone from the front desk to the imaging area was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The nurses were thorough, professional, and caring. The radiology tech was one of the nicest people I've met in a minute! The doctor actually spoke to me like a real person. This was in stark contrast to the CareNow clinic I visited earlier in the day wherein the doc stared at his computer screen as he typed the whole time he was in the room with me. At Ally, the doc had a conversation and let me have a voice in my care plan. She actually seemed like she cared about what was going on with me even though we didn't really figure it out. She made she I was safe to go about life and try to figure it out with my pcp, which was all I needed. I had seen the Ally logo around but didn't know what it was. Now I know they are my emergency medicine ally! Hope I don't have to go back, but know I'll choose Ally over anywhere else if I do.

We get there, four hours later, to then be told, he had to be transported to the main Seton location because they found out they don't have the IR staff to do the procedure after all. Yes, that's 4 hours. Worst staff. Worst process. Worst follow ups. We get to Seton Main at 6PM, waited till about 9PM to finally be told, procedure will not be done until the morning. It is now the morning, new staff, new urologist on call, and to be told they don't have a copy of the order and don't know anything about the urologist order for the procedure. Mind you, we asked the Urologist office if we can wait until Monday and they insist it has to be done now because it is considered a medical emergency...and we are now, our day 2 of waiting and Seton Staff have no clue! Whomever is the operations leader in charge of how staff handles urgent requests like these need to be evaluated bec the experience from a patient stand point is definitely sub par. We're now getting billed for emergency expenses for something they have not displayed any urgency on.

The Dr came to see me -- his stayed by the door holding the door handle the whole time. He ordered x-rays of my abdomen and my chest. When the tech came and told me that he needed to do some x-rays, I refused to have them done since the doctor did not even do a palpation and did not listen to my lungs. Then the doctor came back to tell me that my lab results didn't show why I was having these symptoms, and again he stayed by the door, holding it open. I asked him to please listen to my lungs, so he said he needed to go get his stethoscope. After he listened to my lungs, he told me that they were clear -- so obviously he was ordering an x-ray that was not needed, same with my stomach. I never heard of a doctor ordering an x-ray for your abdomen when you have diarrhea and vomiting, and he didn't do a palpation. Also, they were supposed to give my husband all the prescriptions, and they forgot to give me the one for vomiting. So when I called the next day requesting the prescription be called into the pharmacy, I was told that the Dr works long hour shifts and had just gone home, and they couldn't call him because he was most likely sleeping. My husband had to go to the pharmacy to pick up a different prescription from my PCP, and the prescription was there so they did call it in, but they never notified me. I will not go back

After filling out the quick paperwork I was seen by Erica a Nurse Practitioner who was amazing. She explained carefully what she would be doing and answered my questions. The whole process was fairly quick and involved a little discomfort but no real pain. I had to return 10 days later for removal and was given detailed instructions on how to care for the affected area during that time. The 2nd visit for stitches removal was quick and easy. Everyone involved did an amazing job and truly seemed to care about my well being. Sure I could have gone to a hospital emergency room, but no telling how long I would have waited to be seen, so the extra $$ out of pocket was well spent in my opinion.

First Visit: I had been dealing with a respiratory tract infection for almost 30 days and had already been treated by another community care center. Since I had a trip planned, I wanted to confirm whether I was still contagious. After completing my paperwork, I was called in quickly. The doctor reviewed my symptoms--fever that came and went, a bad cough, and throat discomfort. She checked my vitals, body temperature, and BP, which were all normal at that moment. Since I had already completed a round of antibiotics, she advised me to let my body fight the infection, reassuring me that I was no longer contagious. That was a relief, and I left Ally without being charged. Second Visit: After returning from my trip to California, I came back to Ally with a 103°F fever, severe body aches, extreme fatigue, and a baddd cough. This time, they ran every available test for infections and viruses, which confirmed that I had Influenza A, Influenza B, and COVID-19 and Respiratory Tract Infection. Unfortunately, since I had been sick for over a week, the doctor explained that antiviral medication wouldn't be effective. But they saw how severe my cough was, they prescribed an inhaler and cough medication to help manage my symptoms. I was charged $220 but that was in my best interest there are several other options which you can decide accordingly. What I appreciate most about Ally is that they are upfront about costs. Unlike other ERs that seem to prioritize billing over patient care, they inform you of pricing in advance, giving you the option to accept or decline services based on what's in your best interest. I honestly trust them more than my own physician at this point. I once took a friend to another ER where she tested positive for the flu. All they did was checked her vitals and BP before prescribing medication. Later she received a bill for $1,000. I was very ill at the time, so I do not have any pictures of Ally. However, I've attached a screenshot as proof of my visit.

Yesterday, 8/26/26 I had an appointment for a stress test followed by an appointment with my…read moreCardiologist Dr. Demore. I was charged $67.50 as my co-pay or deductible for the visit. I thought that was an unusual amount to charge but, ok. When I was called by the physical therapist I was told that I would have to pay for the stress test if I did not achieve the levels that they were looking for, in my case a heart rate of 122. I told him I was under the assumption that my insurance would pay for this test as they always had in the past. He told me that medicare did not pay for this procedure. I let him know that I was not covered by medicare I have private insurance and have always had the insurance. He then told me that I needed to take a chemical stress test. I told him no, I do not do needles. Long story short I left to get a refund for the amount I had paid and the clerk gave me a card with the billing department's number for my refund. I went to my car and called my insurance company to ask if I was covered for a stress test I was told yes the authorization had been approved 2 days prior and there was no deductible for this test. The insurance administrator asked to talk with the hospital personnel to clarify this issue and I went back to the clinic to allow the administration to talk with the reception at the clinic. A training person was there who took information from the insurance company and me. He went to the back talked with the people and they told him a completely different story. I left without the stress test and without being the doctor. When I checked my information in the my Chart for BS&W. The therapist falsely entered that I could not get on the treadmill was the reason why the test was not completed. The Doctor reported that I was seen by him, and indicated a cause which was not true. I was not examined or talked with by Dr. Demore. I will be reporting this behavior to the insurance company and to medicare I think this facility is in need of a serious audit by both institutions. And I used to think these were people who cared about their patients. I am devastated.
